Thanks. And incidentally, that post was #250!!!

On the episode today, I was about as relaxed as Shiva and Parvati re: Hanuman being 'killed', for 2 reasons:

1. Why should Mr Vidhi's vidhan only apply to K-L?😈
2. It was obvious that Hanuman was faking it.😉

So unlike the previous episodes where we all probably were as tense as Parvati, today, I for one was as relaxed as she was. I think Parvati is the one with the most sense in the serial, showing concern re: the 2 kids, but being non-challant re: Hanuman. Which is how it should be.

What was surprising was Narad being surprised! I thought that he was the closest thing Hindu mythology had to the Oracle of Delphi - the authoritative predictor of the future, as well as the definitive guide to the past. Here, he's shown as lacking the knowledge that even we TV viewers have🤢

But you're right - if the snakes didn't frighten them, nor did Takshasura or Durdant, then shouldn't Shiva have confidence in them and not submit them to more tests?

I'd have loved for Rama to have called Hanuman in the middle of all this, and Hanuman tell him, "Can't come, prabhu, I'm busy testing 2 kids as per Mahadev's directions".😈😈

In the light of all the changes that not only the Sagars, but also previous modifiers of the Ramayan had made over the millenia, I found this clip ironic😳😳😳

In other words, Brahma asked Valmiki to produce an unadulterated version of the Ramayan, and the Sagars made it a point to carefully hightlight this incident. No sooner does that happen that they turn around and start changing things according to whim, starting immediately from the story of Karkati.🤪🤪🤪

Plainly speaking, when he was issuing instructions to Valmiki, Brahma glossed over all the other distortions that would come later from all other Ramayan authors/translators.🤔🤔🤔

havnt watched the episodes for about 2weeks now, watched only the one from yesterday and got confused with the story line!
