Yes, even i heard that Swanpil Joshi did some serials. anyone knows in which serials he acted? he did the job as Krishna very nicly!!! again...my fav!!

I responded to your question in the Ramanand Sagar Fan club thread. And I agree with Rimi - with every fictional episode (today, Kush & Luv uprooting a Shiv linga that Valmiki has established in the forest so that it wouldn't be ignored and unworshipped), that serial, despite its serious shortcomings, is looking better by the day.

I thought you meant from their perspective, not ours. Usually, when we talk about left and right from the perspective of a animate subject facing us, be it a human, a vanara, a rakshas, we'd talk about it from their perspective facing us, and our left would be their right and vice versa. If we were looking at something like a Shiva linga, then we would be talking from our perspective, since the linga is round and has no front or back, left or right.

I too have wondered whether KL were identical or not. Aside from that, while in Valmiki, when they went to the yagna, lot of people noticed their resemblence to Rama; yet, somewhere, I read that they had the beauty of Sita and the valor of Rama.

If both of them resembled Rama, they may well have been identical.

Re: the jataa, a simple wig would do the job. I doubt that even Swapnil & Mayuresh had their actual hair done that way.

As said earlier, it would have been more realistic if all the kids in the ashram along with LK had "Jataa". (Oh the hairdresser would have had a hell of a time 😆)

Today's episode was nice and the LK-Hanuman scene was nicer. But I wonder why Sita did not believe Hanuman came to their rescue?

Qn: Were the original LK identical twins?❓? Does any version say this?

Answer to your question re: BRC Ramayan or Sagar's Krishna, answer is no.

On the depiction of KL as fraternal twins, I've always believed that this was done to enable the audience to tell one from the other. That doesn't in itself prove that they weren't identical. Although I wonder whether those scriptures recognized the differences between such twins. Incidentally, were Lakshman & Shatrughan identical or fraternal (don't go by the show).

Another thing about the serial - I know that any serial would have to show Sita's life, even though after the birth of her kids, she doesn't appear until Naimisharanya. But the original Uttarkand is about Rama during that time - including the various stories he heard about various rulers, and yes, the invasion of Madhupura by Shatrughan. I guess showing them wont do anything for TRP ratings?🤔 So instead, show🤬 from the Ananda Ramayan.
