Today's episode was quite eventful, we see scenes of the village woman Usha denied justice, guru Vashishtha narrating about how daitya Madhu obtains his infallible trident from lord Shiv, Ram and sita discussing the rights and responsibilities of a husband and wife and on duties and responsibilities of a Just King.
The scene begins with Ma Sita anxiously saying to Ramji that her good luck and happiness shouldn't invite a "bad gaze" / Kudrishti of others, Ramji assures her that its not possible for anybody to affect anyone's destiny by mere bad gazing , all that happens is pre-destined and inevitable.
(Ramji n Ma Sita look at each other adoringly)😊
Meanwhile at the village, all the villagers gather in the village court to decide on Sanjeevan and Usha's matter. Sanjeevan alleges that his wife Usha was characterless since she had spent a night at an unknown man's house. Usha sobs and asks if Raja Ramchandra had done any sin by retaining Sita, Sanjeevan replies that he doesn't know of any sins but the king had done a wrong thing by allowing queen Sita to stay in his house and this was not a proper conduct. At this the village head stops him saying it was not good accusing the king unjustly, all the men in the gathering start gossiping saying the king had done something disagreeable but the women oppose to this saying that all men look for an opportunity to suppress women and a squabble starts between the men and women. A spy present at the gathering snubs all the men there saying that it wasn't appropriate of the to talk maliciosly about Raja Ramchandra and the remarks on Ma Sita were uncalled for since she had undergone an "agi-pariksha" even before returning to Ayodhya.
At Valmiki ashram Brahmarshi Valmiki is writing the verses and thoughts cross his mind:
Ghatna kram yeh toh hai purva nishchit, kram se keval iSe ghat-te jana ; sthan kaal aur patronko chun kar dhunde vidhna samay ka bahana. Nar ya bhagvan ho , nirbal balvan ho honi ho ke rahi Tal na payi ...honi ho ke rahi Tal na payi.....honi ho ke rahi Tal na payi.😭😭
Whatever is destined to happen will happen ,time doesn't differentiate between rich n poor, human or god; it just chooses its target and waits for the appropriate time to strike.
At Ayodya in Ram-Sita's inner palace:
Ma Sita is adoringly looking at sleeping Ramji and starts pressing his feet. Ramji wakes up and stops Sita saying that she didn't deserve a place at his feet but in his heart. Sita smilingly says that she would gain virtue by rendering service to one's husband so he shouldn't stop her. Ramji chuckles and says ,if that was so then he too should render service too his wife because he considered men and women equal.
Sitaji says that it was because of good deeds of her previous life that she had gained a husband like him and if she knew of those deeds she would advise other women to abide by them. She says that she was waiting for such a day where there's only love and harmony all around no one was big or small (in status)
Story of Madhu Daitya:
Guru Vashishtha tells the story of Madhu daitya and how he through his severe penance of Shivji obtains an infallible trident from him. Guru Vashishtha says that he was very worried since Lavansur was a very unscrupulous and a cruel demon, he possessed an invincible trident of Shivji which was given to his father Madhu and that it was capable of destroying anybody coming in front of it.
Madhu daitya is doing a severe penance and gets a divine vision of Shivji . Madhu daitya thanks him profusely and bows at the feet of Shivji. Shivji asks what boon Madhu wanted . Madhu asks for the boon of immortality but Shivji says that death on earth was inevitable so Madhu should ask anything else that was do good to him and his daitya clan. Madhu looks at the vibrant trishul of Shivji and asks for such a weapon whose strike wouldn't go waste. Lord Shiva says "so be it" and blesses him with the invincible, infallible trident.
Vashishtha guru tells Ramji that now the trident was with Madhu's son Lavanasur and he was capable of destroying Ram sitting at Madhupuri.
At Lavansur's palace:
Lavanasur's trusted spy Namuchi visits him and Lavanasur is surprised to see him and asks him to narrate all thathad happened . Namuchi tells him that he had met Antasur in the jail of Ayodhya and Antasur helped him escape from Ayodhya, so now Antasur was waiting to meet King Lavansur.
Lavanasur laughs and agrees to meet him. Antasur comes and bows at the feet of Lavanasur and praises him. When asked why Antasur had left Madhupuri, Antasur tells that his love made him to visit Ayodhya and to earn a living he started working at Ayodhya prison but when it came to patriotism he lost interest in his love and helped Namuchi who was his kinman.
Lavanasur asks Antasur to narrate about Ayodhya's army strength. Antasur says that the army strength was from the Vanars , who now had returned to their place. Lavanasur again laughs and says that he had dropped the idea of attacking Ayodhya and that he would destroy Ramji and Ayodhya with his divine trishul sitting at Madhupuri itself. Antasur is worried hearing this.
Ayodhya again:
Ramji's main spy Bhdransh tells Ramji hesitatingly that Lavanusr wanted to destroy Ramji with his trishul ,he talks in a hesitating manner which earns a suspicion from Ramji, he asks what the subjects were talking about their king, immediately Bhadransh remembers what had happened in the village court.
Ramji tells his spy that he had utmost faith in him so he should always speak the truth and any half information given was as good as lying. He asks him to get more information on Lavanasur, saying thus Ramji sends Bhadransh.
We are taken back to the place where a sobbing Usha is trodding enroute to Ayodhya to ask justice...vivid scenes of her husband accusing her and scenes in the village court are shown, Brahmarshi Valmiki is writing down the incidents:
moad aajaye jeevan aisa yun badalde kathayen ek pal mein; hai paristitithi mein aisi vishamta koi samata na aaj aur kal mein ; hat na daitvase tu toh kavi tujhe vyakt karni hai sachchai; aaj nagari huyi hai parayi.
The story of life takes such unthinkable turns.....unrelative of past and present ...O' poet do not trod away from your duty since you're the one who has to express write the bitter truth , for me my own dwelling has become a stranger!!
He is swinging , thinking deeply Sitaji interrupts and asks the reason for his worry. Ramji tells that something wasn't right about what information was given to him by his spy. Sitaji tells that it was indeed a matter of worry and tells that the scriptures describe the spy as a kings eyes and ears and according to the code of politics the king should see through thousands of eyes but trust only his eyes (and conscience)
Ramji agrees and says that when at proper time he would confirm the details with his own eyes, personally.
