lesson which ramji gave to sitaji...was very interesting,,,,
spl. the part.... shaadi ek rishta hai bandhan(bond) nahi bana chaiye..
this line make me thought on the same...
generally
it always said its a bandhan(bond)......
but here Ramji deny this very fact that it should not be bandhan (bond) and i was surprised to hear the same....
i was wondering why should it not be a bandhan...... then i realise it should not be bandhan but should be a beautiful relation....because bandhan means a kind of compulsion or a bond and relation means to enjoy being with some one... thts all my analysis...which i was trying to take out from yesterday episode....
what your take on the same... plzz. share it...
other part also are very cute of the same conversation....
for eg. ......
having personal space of the duo...
still together... but need to maintain some distance....between couple.
these all things are so unique and so different....
his temple example was great...👏

Thanks sam for starting this
and yes Ramji gave superb lecture yesterday
He is true Maryada Purushottam
This remind me of the scene when they first met after marriage
and gave 1 wife promise...

Now coming to Bandhan line
Ya true sam
it all depends on person to person how u r dealing a relation
for some def marriage is a bandhan but they should realise positive side of it...

I completely agree with Lord on part where he said
there shld be a gap between the two partners
and that two pillars with gap cld maintain life better
we shld follow this
I have seen difference in partners
coz of this
I agree one shld not ask everything from other

Like once I read in Valmiki that
Ramji was giving lecture to bharat in Chitrakut
there he along with other things
added
I m sure u wont be discussing all Rajya Karya with ur wife...
Ramayan really teach a lot ..

Dear Friends,
In Previous generations, as many of us feel that women were highly ill treated. Although, they have high restrictions in outside world, they were given a great respect & were treated in a dignified way. I felt that Ramji gave us a msg. that althgough husband & wife are self to each other, they shud have a privacy & freedom in their thoughts. (Sometimes, over possessiveness & over dependency on life partner may put both of them in troubles).
From this context, we can easily feel that our epics have left us a good guidelines for a good survival. We shud be proud to have such a gr8 man have born in our land.

One more thing Sam
This word Bandhan
I think it actually means
that now u r fixed here
now this is ur family and u have to live here
n thats absolutely right ....

I agree
and we should take these lessons properly
we shld not just note that Ramji is giving full importance to Sitaji
but shld see first that Sitaji deserve all this...
She even dint asked reason of banishment...

wes shld learn from them instead of blaming them
why n how

thanks Sam, nice topic.
Whatever Ramji said in yest' epi is true i think may be its a modern view ,nevertheless it applies at all times.
I think "Bandhan" here meant that a husband and wife should not force upon each other's views too much and a distance should be maintained ,meaning there should be a lil privacy.

Comment on marriage from an unmarried person(me 😉)

Marriage is considered a bandhan because are expected to maintain the relation through thick and thin. Often it happens that some married people complain that they are not happy with their spouse. In such cases, those who do not want them to separate say that it is a bandhan, so you should be together (which means try to avoid divorce as much as you can). They suggest that they should sort out their problems without separating. In that sense, it is a bandhan.

I am wondering if Samiksha (the starter of this thread) is married.😆
