I too have not read the actual text, but in the translation given on the internet, it says that after the Rajyabhishek, that night for the first time in 14 yrs Lakshman slept in the arms of his beloved Urmila. So I guess Valmiki did not forget Urmila, but not much importance is given to the three sisters UMS.

I didn't like todays show. I don't know that Vibhishan was that much more materialistic than Hanuman-ji, as seems to be the implication of part 1. Also, the Sagars seem to be in a hurry to get Sita out into vanvas. Please, the rajyabhishek is barely over - can't we have some more of Sita's time in Ayodhya? There were quite a few episodes that can be shown between now and then. Also, like Sita11, I want to see more of Lakshman & Urmila (& Sumitra), and Sita & Kaushalya.

Another thing - Valmiki's Ramayan, the Uttarkand starts with the various Rishis who were there congregating with Rama after the Rajyabhishek, and the next few months spent narrating the story of Ravan and Vali and their clans. (I hope they do a bit of that, and intersperse it with family moments described above.) Valmiki's Ramayan does not describe Brahma appearing before him and asking him to write the Ramayan, even though that happened. Here, it looks as though just after Rama's rajyabhishek, Brahma & Narad start corresponding with Valmiki.

Exit question: was Valmiki told that whatever was to happen would be revealed to him, or that whatever he wrote would be what transpires?

It was a good episode, but they could have portrayed Vibhishan differently and not as a materialistic. Also, in which version of Ramayan does Vibhishan give the necklace? I thought it was given by the Devtaas, right?
