in todays episode 27th JANUARY

i loved the episode sooooooooooooooo much !!!😃

yup!! chatter i agree wid u that today RAVAN enjoyed him self to the fullest while fighting wid all the ikshavaku vansh kings !!!!

i am on top of the world ,as today i got to see the genius PANKAJ KALRA ,OUR GREAT DASHRATHJI 👏

i was soooooooooooooooooo emotional at DASHRATHJI'S scenes😛

i loved the episode all becaz of DASHRATHJI & i also loved the story of all the 4 manas putras of Brahmaji giving curse to jay & vijay !!!😛

sagars r extending the role of RAVAN ,its good that the show is getting extension & we all r getting to see new -new stories 😛,

PUNKAJ KALRA as DASHRATHJI was fabulous !!!!👏

KAIEYE was rocking in the costume of a warrrior !!!👏👏

RAVAN & KAIKEYES conversation was simply fabulous !!!👏

at last the sagars showed the story of kaikeye where she helped out DASHRATHJI by putting her finger in the rim of the chariot !!!!😛😛 I AM HAPPY tht sagars r finally showing all the stories related wid DASHRATHJI !!!!

IT WAS sooooooooooooooo refreshing to see our great Dashrathji !!!! 😃

the actor who is doing the role of BRAHMAJI was simply genius ,he was perfect as Brahmaji ,the expressions & humbleness on the face of Brahmaji was outstanding !!!😛

i really loved todays episode !!!! 😃

great guns !!! to PUNKAJ KALRA !!!👏

one more thing i wonder why sagars showed vinod kapoor as vijay ??? the guard of vaikunth lok ???

as RAVAN & KUMBHKARAN were jay & vijay in the treta yuga but why vinodkapoor (who is playing vibhishan) was shown as vijay ??????

oh wow...so the ever wonderful Dashratji is back in action on Ramayan....glad they are showing this....i haven't watched any vids yet..but will comment more when I see the epi!!!! Thanx sita for the info!!!!

Sita, I haven't watched the epi yet. But I can tell from your enthusiasm, that it is a good one! I love Pankaj Kalraa, our Dhasharat Ji too! He is truly an awesome actor. It will be great to see him again!😊 I am so happy!😊Will comment more after watching show. Thanks for your info!

Yeah, Sita, my dad & uncle, who were watching with me, all found it strange. Particularly since they always show Gurmeet & Debina as Vishnu & Lakshmi, and tend to use the same actor/actress to signify an incarnation, like they did with Sita & Vedavati.

Also, the curse was not that they be born as rakshashas. The curse was that they be born on earth and separated from Vishnu indefinitely. When Vishnu came to know about it, he gave them 2 options:

1. Be born thousands of lives as his devotees, before returning to him;
2. Be born 3 times as powerful enemies of his who would be killed by him.

Jaya & Vijaya chose option 2, since that way, they'd be re-united with him quicker.

Also, the curse did not specifically say 'asuras' or 'rakshashas', and nor was it the case, since in the dwapar yuga, Shishupala & Kamsa/Dandavakra were all not only human, but pretty mediocre warriors (certainly nowhere in the leagues of Bhishma, Drona, Ashwatthama, Arjun, Karna, et al, let alone Krishna or Balarama). Therefore, Krishna had to (and did) know who they were, unlike Rama, who had no idea before he killed them that Jaya & Vijaya were Ravan & Kumbhakarna.

Also, when Dasharath went to war taking Kaikeyi with him, it was only once that he did that, and that too not with Ravan, and what's more, in that battle, Kaikeyi was his charioteer, not Sumantra (who was his mahamantri, not his sharathi). Also, in the accounts that do have this, Ravan didn't wound Dasharath, but was held to a stalemate by him, and suspected that he was capable of giving birth to a son who could kill him. He therefore cursed that no sons should be produced off the loins of Dasharath, which is why despite trying to impregnate some 600,000 women, Dasharath couldn't (note that this version is not in Valmiki)

I wonder whether they'll show Hanuman stealing the weapon to kill Ravan from Mandodari's pillar, as represented in some texts.

Just saw this episode with Ravan fighting with Dhasharat Ji and Kaikeyi! It was so wonderful to see our Ayodhya king again! Pankaj kalraa is a superb actor! Kaikeyi looked gorgeous in her war outfit!😆😆 Akhilendra's expressions as Ravan were simply stupendous! Sita, now I know where you are coming from!😆😆
Vinod Kapoor as door keeper, Jaya, looked funny! Here we have Sagars recycling actors!😆😆😆 Sagars want to save money in anyway they can!😊😊😊

looks like some extension to his role here

as for shani dev what to say i think he didnt do much justice to his role the actor imean why they cudnt take another pandey as shani dev

now i got two points

1) thurs episode ended with armour on ravan and aarti falling and ravan ready to go to battle

come monday armour is missing thali has fallen by clumsy mandodari and instead battle field ravan is consulting his jyotish acharaya

wohhoaaaaa did i become rip van winkle or what😕

seemes to have missed something in betwen thurs and monday episode

2) ravan costume color and mando costume color was differnt isnt it

Think they showing all the curses given to Ravan in flashbacks!!!!!!!!! see, when they have shown all the curses, they will show the epi where Ravan is in the battle field.

And yes, he was about to go the battlefied. wasnt he/?? As they show the scene where Ram Laxman and everyone were waiting for him to come to the batllefield!!.....owww...Sagars...what are you doing, pls tell!!😕😕

By the way, didnt know that it was the war between Ravan and Dashrath where Dashrath gets hurt and Kaikai saves him!! thoght (or maybe read somewhere) that it was the fight with devtas!!!!
