Lord Ram had no time to break Ramsetu after the war. Lord Ram wanted to return Ayodhya immediately after the war. After killing Ravan he consoled Mandodari, order for the performance of last rites of dead soldiers, performed the rites of praayaschita(because he killed a brahmin-Ravan), installed Vibhishan to throne of Lanka

He was in hurry because Bharat decided that he will self immolate himself if Ram return late

Zee news says that Govt relied on PadmaPurana but in PadmaPurana itself lord Shiva said that Ram,Ram setu will exist in this earth till his won existence. They have produced only a selected Part of Kambha's Adhyatama Ramayan n PadmaPurana. they have not quoted some important facts from the succeding n preceeding chapters.

It is indeed unfortunate that no one is looking to see the truth about Lord Ram.may only ram's will prevail
