Main entrance to the Sanctum Sanctorum of 'Moozhikulam Temple', a shrine dedicated to Lord Lakshmana, second brother of Lord Rama. In front of the entrance is the 'Balikallu' - artistically carved big sacrificial stone ('Bali' = Sacrifice and 'Kallu' = Stone). This ageless temple near Angamaly, in Ernakulam District completes the holy quartet of 'Nalambalam' (four temples) in Kerala.
The imposing 'Chuttumbalam' (building surrounding the Sanctum Sanctorum) of Lord Lakshmana Temple at Moozhikulam. The wooden panels that cover the walls are place-holders for temple lamps, providing stunning illumination on festive occasions. Situated in Kerala's Ernakulam District, this is one of the oldest shrines in the State.

no actually this was the bow of lord rama it was probably gifted by vishwamitra (maybe sage agatysa )to lord rama and then lord rama gifted it to lord lakshmana...lakshmana was extremely delighted and he was quite attached to this bow and always carried this bow with him there is a context tht i told u earlier once lakshmana's mind was corrupted and he spoke harsh words to lord rama and then he returned this bow to lord rama but wen he was freed from the influence he was so guilt concsiousness for returning the bow the he decided to throw himself in the fire and then lord rama created a river and the river became laskhman teertha...so the kodanda bow is unique 😳
