I do understand what you wrote above and the last thing I see is love for Ramayan or else you would not use words like Media using gimmick to garner more TRPs and sympathy for the new Ramayan or more more coverage for Gagan.
About criticising - the epic is written in 300+ versions by human beings. All revere it and respect it but nobody challenges to know all of it to have the authority to criticize it. Its just like a frog in the well scenario.
The epic itself is not flawless so criticizing the show itself is ...

I m trying to be so friendly with U elucidating and elaborating every point so clearly that I hve no personal issues with Gagan...Insted I respect him Neha and neil for being actors, since I feel a special connection with mytho actors...But I didnt know that U have so many issues with Gurmeet fans that U r ignoring my humbleness and becoming so rude, If it is so I feel sorry for being so friendly and would love to back off!
How can U question and insult my Love for my Gods and ramyan 😲 This is so sick...Ramayan is my soul and U really have hurted me typing such rude comment! I can understand that U r here only for Gagan...BUT I M NOT...Neither I watched the old ramayan because my love for actors...I didnt even know Gurmeet and Debina before ramyan but their faithful and genuine acting as Ram Sita and their behaviour in real life really made me see God in them and respect them!
But it dosent mean I didnt criticie the bad points of that Ramayan...I can criticie them even now...there was a big blooper of Ram and Sita's age in that one which i really didnt liked plus Debina was not a very good Sita in the starting Episodes...but she covered up from the Pushp vatika one...I can make a list if U want so that U get conformed that i dont watch Mytho just for the actors and I m not partial for any version of Ramayana...So that U do stop insulting my devotion for Rama!
As far as the scenes in Ramayana are concerned, I know there are more than 1000 sources including all 14 versions of Ramayana and the folk stories, every version say a different story...even both Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki Ramayana have so many different points! No one know what happened that time but it is all abt Devotion for true Devotees, that weather U believe in chaya Sita or the original Sita or weather U believe in Sita Swayamber or the Dhanush Yagya...it all comes from inside what our Devotion allow u to believe!
I dont mind seeing new stories instead I really appreciate them, like the one they have showed abt raghu...the ancestor of Rama. but what I mean by criticizing negative points is like the scene in which Bharata is shown Jealous of rama...Is it possible anyway in Ramyana? Bharata was a part of vishnu himself who got incarnated on Erth s Humn for helping vishnu...He was his most devoted brother and was a simple devotee of Ram like U and me...Does it make sense that I do get jealous of Ram? 😲 No right? So wht I know abt Bharat didnt allowed me to digest tht scene! It is my personal POV so i loved sharing it with others in the forum for weather they agree with me or not and I think that is why Forums exist in IF, right?
I hope U have got my point now and wont anymore insult my devotion for my Gods!
