PART - 39 : TIDE HAS TURNED
Rani answers Yudi's question with great difficulty as she herself is very overwhelmed! 😭
Rani : Agar yahi prashn hum pooche toh?? Aaj subah saare saboot hamaare virrudh the.....magar phir bhi aapne humpar seh apnaa vishwaas nahi khoya.....uss pyaar ke aage toh yeh kuch bhi nahi hai! 😳
Yudi tightens his hold on her and thanks his stars for having found the most compatible soul-mate!! 😳 After a few moments, she separates herself and tells Yudi
Rani : Ab hame angya deejiye.........Rani maa neh hame Raajkumaari Bhavyata ke vidaai seh sambandhidh kuch kaam saumpa hai jo hame prabhand (arrange) karnaa hai.
Yudi relents and lets her go. 😊 Rani goes to get the work done while Yudi walks back to the function hall.
That night Bhavyata cannot sleep for long!! On the one hand she is very excited about the next day and the new beginning in her life! On the other hand she is very sad at having to leave the family with whom she had spent her whole life! She and Namrata stay awake for a long time talking and remembering the fun times they had, growing up! That night, they were like any 2 ordinary sisters and not two princesses!!!
Soon...........its sunrise, the whole palace is up and running excitedly!! It was going to be a beautiful day! 😛 The ceremonies start from the morning itself. The actual wedding muhurat was going to be at 6.30 PM in the evening. The palace looks virtually like a heaven! It is most beautifully decorated!! All the palace staff have been distributed new clothes to wear and everyone is excited and happy to be part of something so special!
That morning Yudi has a visitor. The visitor insists that it was very important that he meet the King and so Yudi grants him an appointment! Yudi and the visitor are closetted in his office for almost an hour. After the visitor leaves, a slightly shocked Yudi continues to sit in his office, lost in thoughts! And then he walks over to his grandmother's room to share the information with her! Soon the matters of the day take precedence and he soon gets busy.
Rani does not wear what she has been given as being a member of the palace staff 😳 .........Rani maa understands Rani's need and wish to maintain her dignity as an individual intact, and so does not consider her not wearing clothes gifted by the royal family as a misdemeanor on her part. Instead, Rani wears a simple yet elegant saree that she had bought herself and the only jewellery she wears is the chain that the King had gifted her 😳 and the jhumkas her mom and dadimaa had gifted her!! 😊
Soon its time for the bridegroom and family to arrive and they arrive with a lot of pomp and splendour! 🥳 They are given a royal welcome by the Queen and ex-King and soon they come in and are comfortably settled!! Bhavyata is getting ready in her room under the guidance of some of the best beauticians of the city. She was looking breathtakingly beautiful in an all red, heavily gold-embroidered wedding dress and no one in the room can take their eyes away from her exquisite appearance! 😳 And another person who is taking everyone's breath away with her beauty is Yukta! She is looking gorgeous herself, almost rivalling the bride! But the rakhri that Yudi had gifted Bhavyata, has brought a special glow to her appearance which could not be duplicated by anyone!! Bhavyata had insisted that her brother help her wear the rakhri the first time, since he had gifted it to her! So Yudi comes to Bhavyata's room. He puts the rakhri on Bhavyata's forehead and an emotional Bhavyata leans down to touch his feet and seek his blessings! Yudi lifts her and embraces her, wishing her the best! It is a very emotional brother and sister moment! 😭 🤗
Yudi looks around for Rani but he does not see her there and so makes his way for the mandap hall. He has not seen her yet this evening and was really wanting to see her! 😛 Rani was already gone to the mandap hall, accompanying Rani maa to ensure that Rani maa is comfortably seated during the several hours of rituals that the wedding was going to comprise of.
The sensation of being watched by someone will make Rani turn in the direction of where Yudi was standing and watching her, while he was on the phone. Yudi was on the phone but had no clue what he was saying.......she simply took his breath away by her simplicity and grace! 😳 😳 She seemed to be the most beautiful woman in the whole palace and she stood apart from everybody else!!! 😳 His eyes check her out from top to bottom and Rani blushes as his eyes travel on her! ☺️ In that ink blue colored saree with a red border, she looked so royal and his eyes fall on the chain!! He is very happy to see that she treasured that more than anything else and that she did not the feel the need to wear anything other than what he had gifted her!! 😃 When his eyes reach her's, she raises her eyebrows questioning him what he was looking at?? Yudi smiles and signals her back indicating she was killing him!!! 😃 Rani blushes and quickly turns away with a smile lest anyone from the crowd observe their interaction! ☺️☺️
The high-raised mandap is towards the front of the huge hall. On the left side of the mandap, very comfortable seating arrangements have been made for the royal family. On the right side, seating arrangments have been made for the groom's family and straight ahead in front of the mandap are the seats for all the invitees, guests and everyone else! Soon the priests ask Pramod to come and and sit at his ordained seat. They start the rituals. Its time for Bhavyata to take her place in the ceremony and she is brought down to the mandap with a lot of fan fair by Namrata, her cousins, Yukta and several other ladies. She goes and sits besides Pramod to his left in front of the fire that is lit. The priest continues the chanting of the mantras. Namrata sits besides her sister in the mandap while Yukta goes and sits besides Yudi. She did not want the heat and fumes from the fire spoil her makeup! 🤪 Namrata has ofcourse pulled Rani to be with her and so Rani stands behind Namrata. Bhavyata's face is covered in a ghunghat and so Pramod does not even get to have a glance to see how beautiful she is looking! 😕 But no such restriction existed for YuRa and they are unable to look away from each other! 😳 Every few seconds Yudi's eyes wander to where Rani is standing and the intensity of his gaze was more fiery than the fire that was burning in front of her! She invariably ends up looking at him and several feelings are shared by them! ☺️ ☺️ The fact that they were in the midst of a wedding ceremony only added to their longing to be with each other forever!!! 😍 Rani maa was watching them and she had a smile on her face! 😊 She had also observed the chain that Rani was wearing! Realizing that Yudi must have gifted it to her, she is very happy to see them so happy! 😃 Rani maa thinks that whoever had said that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, was so right!!! There were so many beautiful women in that assembly today, most beautiful among them was Yukta...... but Yudi had eyes for nobody but Rani!!! 😳
The priest that was conducting the Pramod-Bhavyata wedding was not simply marrying them, he was slowly inculcating them into this sacred and powerful bond of lifelong partnership! And so he was explaining the relevance of each ritual to Pramod and Bhavyata before performing it! Pramod-Bhavyata were benefitting from this explanation anyway, another couple that were silently benefitting were YuRa!!! Yudi had never really had the interest or time to observe the rituals and to understand the importance and meaning of these rituals. But today it was different! He felt a surprising interest to know more about the wedding rituals and to understand their relevance! The customs seemed more meaningful today than ever because he had someone to relate them to! He and Rani cannot help but be influenced by the sanctity of this moment and dream of a beautiful future together! 😍
Soon all the rituals are complete.......and Pramod and Bhavyata step down to seek the blessings of their elders. And then they move over to a reception hall where all the guests come to meet them, congratulate them and wish them! After which the royal dinner is served. Yudi and Nakul are standing together and watching over and welcoming the guests. Yukta sees Yudi finally by himself and decides to try to get close to him. He had been trying to avoid her the whole day and Yukta wanted to show before her parents, who were visiting for the wedding that she was making a lot of effort! 🤢 She slowly slides up to Yudi and says to him
Yukta : Aap toh bahut busy lag rahe hai Raaja saahab?
Yudi asks : Koi kaam tha aapko, humseh?
Yukta says : Ji. Hum aapseh kuch baat karna chahte hai......magar yahaan nahi. Kya aap thodi der keh liye baahar aa sakte hai? 😳
And she points to the balcony outside the huge hall. Yudi says
Yudi : Aap jaiye. Hum dus minute mei aate hai!
Yukta leaves and waits in the balcony. She turns towards the garden and is enjoying the fresh breeze. Soon she hears Yudi behind her and he clears his throat to let her know he is here. Yukta turns slightly towards him and with her eyes down cast, putting on a fake act of a very shy woman and says
Yukta : Aap itne door kyun kadhe hai, paas aaiye na!
She feels him move closer to her. She extends her hand, her eyes still downcast and takes his hand! Slowly bringing it to her mouth, she kisses it and whispers
Yukta : Hum yeh baat kai dinon seh aapko bataana chahte the ke ham aapseh bahut pyaar karte hai.......
He lets out a yelp and says : Hame bhi aapseh bahut pyaar hai....... 😲
Someone clears his throat just as Yukta thinks......this voice does not belong to Yudi! She looks up shocked!!! 😲 Yes, the voice did not belong to Yudi but to the 50 year old alcoholic husband of one of Yudi's aunt who was a second cousin of the ex-king!!!!! 😡 This pervert had been leering at her the whole day and apparently had followed her to the balcony!!!! 😡 😡 😡 Not only is Yukta shocked at having kissed his ugly hand and telling him that she was in love with him 😲 😲 BUT this shameful mistaken act of her's was witnessed by Pradhan, who was standing there staring at them!!! 😲 Yukta drops his hand like a hot iron and screams
Yukta : How the hell did you get here????? 😡 😡
That man quickly stumbles away shocked at her anger and a fuming Yukta turns to Pradhan and stares at him furiously!!! 😡 😡 😡 Pradhan clears his throat and says awkwardly
Pradhan : Raajkumaari Yukta..😳...hum Raaja saahab kaa sandesh lekar aaye the! Unhone hame yeh bataane ke liye bheja ke woh iss samay aapseh milne nahi aa sakte!

A fuming, shameful, embarassed and angry Yukta walks away in a huff! 🤢 Pradhan looks at her going and understands that she was upset with his presence at such an awkward moment! He thinks maybe he should go to her and apologize to her.....but before that Yukta has already left the balcony! Yukta has just entered the hall again and she goes and sits in her chair, angry and ultra upset! 😡 Just then her personal servant comes to her and says
Servant : Rajkumaari ji.....hum kuch kehnaa chahte hai!
Yukta asks irritatedly : Kya hai??? 😡
Servant : Rajkumaari ji, mujhe bahut darr lag rahaa hai!!! 😭 Sunaa hai Pradhan ji bahut jor-jabardasti seh pooch-taach kar rahe hai!!! Kahin....kahin mere muh seh kuch phisal na jaaye! 😭 Aap kuch keejiye.....krupayaa aap unhe rokiye!
Yukta turn to her and says : Paagal mat ban! Issmei itne darne ki kya baat hai? Kisi koh pataa nahi chalegaa ke woh chori humne karvaai hai! Poochte hai toh poochne de...tu bas ek hi utaar deti jaa ke tujhe iss baare mei kuch nahi pataa!
Servant : Magar Rajkumaari ji...
Yukta : CHUP! Ab hame aur mat sataa....waise hi hamaara sar bahut dukh rahaa hai! Ab tu jaa yahaan seh! 😡
The servant leaves dejectedly while Yukta gets up and goes to her mother and a shocked Pradhan just stares after her!!! 😲 After contemplating for a few moments, Pradhan had decided that he needed to apologize to Yukta and so he had walked over to her. He was walking up from behind and so she had not noticed him and neither had her servant! Pradhan was shocked at what a witch Yukta was!!! 😲 He cannot believe his ears and he wonders WHY in the world would she do this to get Rani in trouble??? 😲😲😲 He feels he needs to inform the King immediately about this!! But the King is so busy that he does not get a chance to reveal anything to him!! 😕
Soon the dinner is complete and it is time for Bhavyata's vidaai! It is a very emotional and stressful affair! 😭 😭 😭 While Bhavyata is being prepared for her trip, Pramod turns to his brother-in-law and says
Pramod : Yudi, mei ek baar Rani seh milnaa chahta hun...........aur tum seh bhi! 😊
Yudi looks at him surprised but does not ask why. They both make their way to the balcony while they send a servant to inform Rani to come to the balcony. Rani comes to the balcony and finds both the men waiting for her. As soon as she comes near them, she does Pranaam to both of them and says to Pramod
Rani : Pramod ji, aapko bahut bahut badhaai ho! 😃
Pramod thanks her and says feelingly
Pramod : Rani, meine issliye aapko yahaan bulaaya hai taaki mei ek saath aap donon ko dhanyavaad kar saku! Agar aap donon ka niswarth saath nahi hotaa, toh aaj yeh din mere jeevan mei kabhi nahi aata! Mei apne jeevan ki yeh kadhi kaa aarambh aap donon ko dhanyavaad diye binaa nahi kar sakta tha! 😊 😳
He turns and embraces Yudi dearly! 🤗 Rani looks at him shocked and seeing her shock, 😲 😲 Pramod says
Pramod : Haan Rani, mei sab kuch jaanta hun! Aur mujhe bahut aanand bhi hua yeh jaankar, ke aap jaise susheel, vinamr aur samajhdaar vyakti ko chuna hai Yudi neh! Mujhe poora vishwaas hei ke aap har kadam peh Yudi kaa saath dengi!!! 😃
Rani thanks him, a shy smile spreading on her lips and her face radiating happiness! 😳
Pramod then says with a wink: Accha bhabhiji, ab angya deejiye! 😉 Meri patni, meri prateeksha kar rahi hai!
They all laugh 😆 😆 😆 and saying bye to Rani, they both leave. Rani also makes her way back into the hall not noticing a shocked and dumbfounded Yukta standing rooted to the ground in the balcony!!!! 😲 Yukta CANNOT believe what she just saw and heard!!! NO!!! This could NO WAY be true!! So Rani was the reason because of whom Yudi had always ignored her?? So Rani, the lowly servant was whom he loved even after being engaged to her??? How COULD he??? Yukta feels like she is choking!!!! 🤢 🤢 She leans against the balcony railing shaking with extreme anger! 😡 😡 😡 All her interactions with Rani flash past her eyes and suddenly she sees Yudi's support to Rani in a new light! Suddenly she understands why Yudi had made her apologize to Rani!!! 😡 Yukta feels repulsed at the thought of having been played by Yudi and Rani all along 🤢 and vows that she will make Yudi's life hell and she knew exactly how to do it! She storms into the palace! 😡 😡 😡
Bhavyata is bid a tearful goodbye and after wrapping things up, the whole palace goes to sleep. Several people cannot sleep that night! Each one of them is awake for a different reason.........
Namrata is extremely tired and so cannot sleep,
the old King and Queen are missing their daughter and so cannot sleep,
Rani maa has the constant tension and concern for her grandson and so cannot sleep,
Rani is excited at the fact that slowly but surely their relationship is being accepted by everybody and so she cannot sleep,
Now that Pramod-Bhavyata wedding was over, Yudi wants to convery his intentions to his father and he is formulating a way of doing this and so he cannot sleep,
Yukta and her parents.........not only can they not sleep for a specific reason but they are also desperately waiting for dawn.......And the reason they cannot sleep is the shocking and disgusting news that their daughter had conveyed to them just a couple of hours before!!! 😲 Yukta had burst into their room, livid with rage 😡 and disgust 🤢 and had started to scream away!! 😭 😡 After calming her down, Raja Manickhchand had inquired what the matter was...
Yukta : Pitaaji, baat yeh hai ke, jinn Raaja saahab ki prashansa karte karte aapke honth nahi thakte, jinn Raaja saahab ko lekar aap baar baar humseh kehte hai ke, hum bahut hi saubhagyashaali hai jo hame unn jaisaa pati mila hai, jinn Raaja saahab seh aapko itni aasha hai ke woh aapke baad aapke Rajya ko sambhaalenge...... 😡 unn Rajaa saahab ko humseh nahi, ek naukraani seh pyaar hai, meri tulnaa mei unhe ek naukraani acchi lagti hai aur weh uss naukraani ko apni Maharani banaane jaa rahe hai!!!!
Raja Manickchand and his Queen look at her shocked and stupefied! 😲 What the hell was she saying! They make her sit, calm her downa and get the truth out of her. Both the King and Queen are shocked beyond words at the turn of events!!! How could Yudhistir do something so unsavoury?? How could he have an affair with a lowly servant??? How could he be so irresponsible and shameless........bringing such shame and disgrace to his family and ruining their reputation like that!! 😲😲😲
Yukta wants to go and complain to Yudi's father immediately, but Raja Manickchand stops her and tells her to wait till the morning, as the old King must be too tired from the exertions of that day!! With great difficulty they stop Yukta for that night!
The next day morning arrives, fresh and crisp but YuRa have no idea what the day was going to bring forth for them! At around 10.00 in the morning, Yudi gets summoned to his father's chambers. When he is going there, he is accosted by Pradhan who conveys to him his findings about the theft! When Yudi hears who was behind the theft, he is disgusted!!! 🤢 But he was not too shocked....after what he had heard the previous morning, this did not seem out of character for her!!! He thanks Pradhan for the effort and tells him that he will take care of this issue from this point on!
When he reaches his father's chambers, he sees Yukta and her parents and Rani maa are also present!! Yudi is a little suprised 😲 to see them, but he does not attach much importance to it.........till he sees his father's face!! The rage on the ex-king's face 😡 makes Yudi realize that everything was not hunky-dory! He immediately suspects what might be the issue. Before he can say anything, his father bursts out
Old King : Ek naukrani........EK NAUKRAANI!!! 😡 😡 🤢
Yudi : Raaja saahab.........Rani sirf yahaan naukri karti hai, isskaa matlab yeh nahi ke woh naukrani....
Old King : BAS!!! Aise moorkh aur buddhi-heen baatein mat keejiye!!! 😡 Jo yahaan naukri kartaa hai usse naukar hi kehte hai! Aap itne besharam kaise ban gaye???? 😡 😡 Aap kaise bhool gaye ki aapki mangni Raajkumaari Yukta seh ho chuki thi???? Mangni ke pashchaat aap neh aisa giraa hua kaarya kiyaa???? 😡
The old King's face is red with anger. Yudi gets worried for him but realizes that he cannot back off now! It was too late!!! He says to his father
Yudi : Raaja saahab.....yeh baat, mangni seh pehle hi ho chuki thi! Mangni hame dabaav mei aakar karni padhi....
The old King interrupts him shocked
Old King : KYA???? Toh uss naukrani seh rishta rakhte hue bhi aap mangni ke liye tayaar ho gaye???
Yudi winces at the choice of words by his father! 😒 They were giving a really bad derivation to the pure love that he shared with Rani. He tries to reason again
Yudi : Raaja saahab.....aap jaisaa samajh rahe hai, waisa kuch bhi nahi hai! Yeh sach hai ke Raajkumaari Yukta ke saath hamaari mangni hui hai! Aur hum neh pehle prayatn bhi kiyaa inke saath nibhaane ki............magar hame kshamaa keejiye...hum inseh vivaah nahi kar sakte!!! Hum kisi aur ko vachan de chuke hai! 😳
Yukta and her parents stare at him angrily 😡 and the Old King taunts him
Old King : Aur uss vachan ka kya? Jo aap neh humseh kiyaa tha??? Shishodaya vansh ke Raaja hokar, aap apnaa diyaa hua vachan todh denge?? Iss Raaj-vansh ki maryaada kaa aisaa apmaan karenge?? Aap keh khoon mei Rajpoot hone kaa koi bhi pramaan hai ke nahi???? 😡
Yudi is angered, frustrated and humiliated!!! He wanted to tell his father that Yukta was no way fit to be a Queen of the Shishodaya clan but he could not bring himself to humiliate and disgrace a lady so publicly and so silently bears the insults!!! But Rani maa speaks up! She had been sitting quietly for the most appropriate moment and it has arrived! 😳
She says authoritatively to her son
Rani maa : Aap apne bete ke khoon ki garmi peh prashn uthane seh pehle, yeh jaan leh toh accha hogaa, ke kya yeh Raajkumaari iss Raajvansh ki Rani banane ke laayak hai bhi yaa nahi!!
Everyone except Yudi look at her shocked! 😲 😲 😲 Rani maa stares coldly at Raja Manickchand and says
Rani maa : Raaja saahab, aap seh aisi apeksha (expectation) nahi thi!!! 😡 Itnaa badha dhoka?? Aap neh aisi baat humseh chupaayi kaise??
Both Raja Manickchand and his wife look terribly guilty and shocked!!! 😲😲 How in the world did Yukta's truth come out in the open??
Rani maa coninues looking at her son : Yeh jo raajkumaari aapke saamne khadi hai....woh stree hone ki har maryaada laangh chuki hai!!! Inkaa sambandh kisi aur purush seh rahaa hai jiski wajah seh, yeh ek baar garbh bhi dhaaran kar chuki hai!! 😲 Inhe aap iss Raajvansh ki maryaada banaayenge???
Yudi's father and step-mother are shocked and shaken by this revelation! They stare at a fuming Yukta!! 😲😲😲 Raaja Manickchand hangs his head in shame!!
Rani maa continues : Aur jo iss Raajkumaari kaa mangalya/suhaag banane jaa rahaa tha, usspeh teen baar hathya ka prayatn hua.......jo inke premi neh karvaai thi!!!!
Everybody looks utterly shocked at this piece of news............including Yukta!!!! 😲😲😲
Rani maa says : Kal subah Commisioner saahab aaye the..........Police ne uss aadmi ko pakad liyaa hai jo ek contract killer hai aur jisneh Yudhistir ki jaan peh teen baar dhaava kiyaa............ek baar night club mei, ek baar gaanv mei aur ek baar accident karvaake!! Agar ek bhi baar woh aadmi safal ho jaata toh aaj aapkaa betaa aapke saamne khadaa nahi hotaa!
Rani maa continues : Aur Yudhistir ki pasand, Rani.......woh mehel mei naukri karti hai toh kya hua, atmaa-samaan aur gaurav seh jeeti hai!! Ek kisaan ji beti hai !! Susheel aur guni hai! 😊
Yukta interrupts viciously : Aur chor bhi hai!!!! 😡
Yudi finally raises his voice against her : Raajkumaari Yukta!!!!! Asli chor kaun hai, yeh hum bhi jaante hai aur aap bhi!!! Aap ka janm raaj-gharaane mei avashya hua hai....magar aap meh naa hi raajsi darja (class) hai aur naa hi woh gaurav (dignity)!!! Accha hogaa, agar aap apnaa aur apne maata-pitaa kaa aur apmaan nahi karvaayengi!!! 😡 😡
On that cue, Raaja Manickchand gets up and so does his Queen. He goes to the Old King and says
Raja Manickchand : Raaja saahab, Hum bahut hi lajjit hai!!! Beti ke moh mei humne aise mehetvapoorna baat aap sab seh chupaayi!!! Agar ho sake toh hame kshamaa keejiye!!! 😔 Ab aur aapke saamne khade rehni ki shakti nahi hai hum meh!!! Raaja Yudhistir ko yeh poora adhikaar hai ke ve yeh mangni todh de!! Aur mei bhi iss mangni ko todhtaa hun!!!! 😒
He does pranaam to the old King, and Rani maa and glances at Yudi for a moment and grabbing his daughter's hand, walks out!!! Yukta protests but Raja Manickchand warns her to shut up and they immediately walk out leaving a confused and upset royal family behind!!! Rani maa turns back to her son, reverts back to the issue and says softly
Rani maa : Aur Betaa, sabseh badi baat yeh hai ke woh ladhki Rani, Yudhistir ki praan-daata hai!! Do-do baar ussneh Yushistir ko maut ke muh she bachaaya.....aisi ladhki ko thukraana ghor anyaay hogaa..........
Suddenly the old King slips down from his chair and falls on the ground!!!! 😲 😲 😲 Yudi rushes to him while the Queen screams for help! A couple of servants rush in and togther they place him on the bed! Yudi is worried sick for his father and so is Rani maa! 😔 The servants rush to call the doctor!!!!
The old King's face is all puffed up!!! He is suffering from another heart attack! He is breathing erratically and he whispers loudly holding on to Yudi's hand tight
The old King : Uss ladhki koh mehel seh nikaal doh!!.. Uss ladki......nikaal.....doh!!
Yudi looks at his father shocked and grief-stricken!!! 😭 How could he give such a promise to his dad??? 😭 How could he do such injustice to Rani???
He does not open his mouth and Rani maa gives her word on his behalf.....
Rani maa : Jaisaa tum kahoge, waisaa hi hogaa! Hum Rani ko mehel seh bhej denge!!! 😕
