Loved the conversation between the two. And the one where she says she is doing the most bravest thing in her life by talking to him was really cute. Their chemistry was amazing, i could picuture both of them talking, the commotion outside and her running away.

Re-cap : The King's engagement is fixed. He meets Rani by chance and mistakes her for Princess Yukta. He has a wonderful interaction with her.

PART - 11 : SHOCK.....ITS NOT HER!!!

Rani had hid behind a curtain as soon as she had left the room. She sees the King coming out in her search and searching the corridor for her!! After a few minutes she sees him leaving. She heaves a sigh of relief and cautiously comes out of hiding and rushes back to Namrata's room. She closes the door and quickly changes back to her clothes. She removes all the jewellery and bangles. While removing the bangles, she notices that the beads chain was broken and half of it was stuck in her bangles. She realizes that the other half of the chain was what fell from her hand when she was rushing out. 😕
She neatly folds the dress, places all the jewellery carefully on that and quickly leaves closing the door behind her. Rani has just walked away when Namrata rushes back to her room and yells excitedly
Namrata : Rani, dekh mei kya laayi....It is a perfect match to your dress...... 😃
She stops in her tracks. There is no Rani anywhere and the dress and jewellery are on her bed, neatly folded. Namrata is surprised. She has in her hand a beautiful pink rose which is a perfect match to Rani's dress!! Namrata walks up to the bed thinking aloud "Arre, itne mei yeh kahaan chali gayi? Aur usne kapde bhi badal liye aur sab yahaan chodh ke chali gayi! Mei thodi der ke liye hi toh gayi thi!"
Namrata was not but gone for 20 minutes. But that 20 minutes had seemed like a lifetime for Yudi and Rani!!!
She thinks again "Kahin kisine usse dekh toh nahi liyaa!!" She gets worried about Rani and also a little scared. She is about to go in her search when her sister comes into her room. Princess Bhavyata comes in and exclaims staring at Namrata
Bhavyata : Oh My God! Aap abhi tak inhi kapdon mei hai??? 😳
Namrata looks at her sister. And she wonders for the millionth time how extremely beautiful her sister was! (Guys, as opposed to the actual serial, in my FF, Princess Bhavyata is an extremely beautiful lady) Her sister was looking gorgeous as usual..... she was an epitome of beauty and perfection! Her beauty was ethereal! She would be most perfectly dressed for any occassion. She had a great sense of humour and was a lot of fun to be with IF you were royalty or were a member of the ultra rich high-class society........If you were not either of the above then she treated you like dirt!!!
It was this aspect of Bhavyata's personality that Namrata detested!!! 🤢 Her sister was extremely vain and proud of her beauty and lineage and was a very arrogant person! This issue has always been the bone of contention between the two sisters. Bhavyata disliked Namrata's utter disregard to the dignity of their royal status and Namrata disliked the utmost disrespect that Bhavyata felt towards the common person. Bhavyata's voice brings Namrata back from her thoughts...
Bhavyata : Aadhe ghante mei pooja shuru hone waala hai aur aap abhi tak tayaar nahi hui!
Namrata : Bas sirf shower lenaa baaki hai! Mei abhi snaan karke aati hun.
She puts the flower down on the bed when Bhavyata notices the Pink dress and thinking that is the dress Namarata has taken out to wear, exclaims
Bhavyata : Oh no! Yeh kaunse color ka dress nikaala hai aapne! Yeh aap peh bilkul suit nahi karega! Let me get you a dress!
Namrata rushes to take a shower while Bhavyata walks into Namrata's closet and picks up a beautiful light green dress and matching accessories and jewellery for Namrata. Then she summons Namrata's personal servant.
When Namrata comes out from her shower, she is helped to get ready by the personal servant under Bhavyata's supervision. With deft makeup touches directed by Bhavyata, within minutes Namrata is transformed into a very pretty princess! 😳 While this is happening, Namrata remembers Rani and wonders if Rani is fine!
Meanwhile, Rani had gotten out of Namrata's room and had walked quickly to her room ensuring that she does not accosts anyone on the way. She enters her room and locks the door! She is still shaking from the recent experience! She goes and sits on her bed and tries to relax. But she can't! Her mind is in a complete turmoil at what happened and she is trying to make some sense out of it!!! Just then someone knocks on her door. Rani becomes tense with fear. She slowly gets up and opens the door. It is Rani maa's personal servant giving her the message that Rani maa wants her to come immediately.
Rani quickly gets ready. And grabbing her dupatta goes towards the palace again. She reaches Rani maa and helps Rani maa's personal servant to get the Old Queen ready. Rani maa notices that Rani is unusually quiet and she gets concerned..
Rani maa : Kya hua Rani, aaj tu itni chup chup kyun hai?
Rani (tries to smile) : Ji nahi, Rani maa. Mei bilkul theek hun!
The Queen does not pursue her questioning but she can feel that something is amiss with Rani. Soon she is ready and she and Rani go to the temple. Rani maa goes into the temple while Rani goes and stands with the servants. She scans to see that the King has not arrived yet. Slowly the rest of the royal family also joins them. And then the King walks in. Everybody's eyes are drawn to him and so are Rani's!! He is looking very radiant and happy. 😃 There is a lot more confidence in his demeanor! Soon the Gaekwad Royal family comes to the the temple....including Princess Yukta. But she is in a ghunghat (veil) and nobody can see her face. The King looks at her happily and Rani doesn't miss to notice that! She feels bad on two levels!!! One that the King is getting engaged soon and the other that in no time he will find out the truth and he is going to be shocked and Rani hated to be the reason for his shock!!!
Soon the puja is completed and after the distribution of prasad everyone leaves. Rani accompanies Rani maa back to her room. After finishing her tasks for the day, she is going back her to room when Namarata accosts her
Namrata : Rani, tu mere kamre seh chali kyun aayi? Mere aane tak intezaar kyun nahi kiyaa?
Rani (with tears in her eyes) : Choti Yuvraani ji, 😭 😭 bahut badi galti ho gayi hai mujhse!
Namrata gets worried and asks her to explain in detail. Rani slowly accounts everything that happened concluding that the King now mistakes her for Princess Yukta! Namrata is shocked and she also gets worried that this whole thing might blow out of proportion! Rani starts to cry and says to Namrata
Rani : Choti Yuvraani, meri madad keejiye! Agar Raja saahab ko pataa chal gayaa ke woh mai thi, toh woh mujhe kabhi kshamaa nahi karenge! Ab aap hi mujhe bachaa sakti hai!
Namrata reassures Rani.
Namrata : Rani....ghabraa mat.... mei hun naa! Kisi ko tere baare mei pataa nahi chalega. Aur phir iss sabki zimmedaar mei hun, tu nahi! Kyonki meine hi tujhe woh kapde pehnane ke liye kahaa tha. So, don't worry....mei sab sambhal loongi.
She reassures and convinces Rani and both go their ways. Rani reaches her room. She is exhausted and does not feel like eating anything. She goes straight to her bed, but does not get a wink of sleep! For the millionth time she will replay in her mind her conversation with the King!! She will be worried sick about the next day, about how the King will react when he finds out that he was not talking to Princess Yukta but somebody else! The King on the other hand is blissfully asleep with a contended mind that he was not making a wrong choice for a life partner!!
Morning arrives.........The engagement is scheduled for 6.00 PM in the evening followed by a dinner party. The King will make this ceremony open to all. He does not exclude anybody....i.e even the servants can witness it. During lunch Pramod calls Yudi and Yudi excitedly tells him about what happened the evening before. Pramod is very happy to see Yudi so happy!! And he promises to reach the palace by 5.00 PM.
The time is slowly inching forward and soon it is time for the ceremony. Namrata and Rani accompany Rani maa to the ceremony room on the first floor. Bhavyata and her Mom arrive at the hall together and the old King is wheeled in. The Gaekwad royal family also take their seats and everybody is awaiting the King.
Yudi reaches the hall accompanied by Pramod. As soon as he enters the hall, every pair of eyes are turned towards him. He is dressed to kill!! He is looking very handsome and all the women gape at him! And Rani, who is standing in the shadows behind Rani maa and Namrata does not even blink her eyes! She is completely taken over by his presence and his charisma!!! And so is Princess Yukta. She is seeing him from the inside of her ghunghat and is very impressed by him!
Soon the priest who is conducting the ceremony will finish the rituals and it is time for the King and the princess to exchange rings. Princess Yukta is led to the King and they both stand opposite to each other. Yudi is very happy that finally the wait is over! Princess Yukta's personal assistant slowly lifts the Princess' veil and Rani feels faint and leans against a huge pillar that is besides her! The King is looking on as the veil comes off. He sees Princess Yukta's face and...........!!!!! 😲 The shock is clearly visible on his face!!!!! He is just staring at the Princess who has her eyes downcast!!!! While everybody else thinks that the shock on the King's face is actually extreme surprise at seeing such a breathtakingly beautiful lady in front of him, only 2 people in the room know the real reason for the shock! Namrata and Rani!! 😔
So many emotions are overtaking Rani....she is hating herself for doing this to the King!! She is feeling his pain and shock!!! She is hurting that he is getting engaged to someone else!!!! She is struggling with insecurity at seeing how beautiful the Pincess is!!!!! Through all this she notices that the King is still staring at the Princess and the crowd starts to murmur. Namrata quickly walks around to her brother and slightly nudges his hand.
The Prince comes out of his shock and turns to look at her. He has a blank expression in his eyes and his face is emotionless!
Namrata (whispers) : Bhaiyya, kya dekh rahe hai?? Angoothi pehnaiye!!
Yudi comes back to his senses and looks around. There are a hundred pair of eyes staring at him, watching his every move, his every expression, every breath that he is taking in!! There is no time or freedom to react in front of these people and his family. There is no way he can back out now. With great effort,🤢 reluctantly he reaches for the ring and slips it down the princess' finger! The princess in turn does the same and looks up to see him. She finds him not looking at her! Rani's eyes fill up with tears. It is all over for her!!! As soon as the rings are exchanged, everybody clap 👏👏👏 and congratulate the King loudly. Yudi responds reluctantly to everyone. Then, they both turn towards the assembled photographers who click away happily. The happy expression that the King has been wearing since yesterday has been competely wiped out and replaced with a very stoic and serious one.
Then the King and the Princess go and take blessings from both sides of the family. All through this process, inside his heart Yudi is first confused thinking how is this possible? Then he becomes restless thinking who could that other girl be??? Then he scans the crowd around him to see if he can find that other girl and feels upset that he will never be able to find who the other girl was and finally he is angry 😡 that he was taken for a ride!! Rani is looking at him throughout! Its like she can read every thought that is going on in his mind! The thought that the King might have concluded in his heart that she is a cheat, a fraud is killing her!!! 😭
All the people come and congratulate the King and Princess and give them gifts. Yudi goes through this whole process uninterestedly! Soon dinner is announced in 15 minutes. The King and the princess are sitting together. Yudi is lost in thoughts and Yukta is surprised that he is not even wanting to talk to her! This has never happened to her before! When she was around, people paid attention only to her! She looks at him and clears her throat. Yudi is startled. He turns to look at her and for a second he remembers the previous evening when he himself had cleared his throat so! He says...
Yudi : Aapne kuch kahaa?
Yukta : Aap itne khoye khoye kyun lag rahe hai?
Immediately Yudi compares her voice to the voice that he heard yesterday!! That girl had such a beautiful sweet voice when compared to the princess. He shakes his head and looking away from the princess says
Yudi : Kuch nahi. Bas kisike baare mei soch rahaa tha.
Yukta : Koi ladhki hai kya?
Yudi turns sharply to look at her. He does not like that question.
Yudi : Haan.
Yukta : Oh wow! Kaun hai woh?
Yudi : If you don't mind, koi aur baat karein?
Yukta : Mujhe koi problem nahi hai agar aapke past mei koi ladhki hai toh! In fact its a good idea ke hum apni pichli zindagiyaan discuss kare.
Yudi is irritated and he says : I don't think so. Abhi hame mile dus minute bhi nahi hue, I think we should first discuss our present and then if time permits we can discuss our past!
Yukta is not able to understand the slight sarcasm in his tone and continues...
Yukta : Oh come on, kyun chupaane ki koshish kar rahe hai?? Hum log 21st century mei rehte hai, shaadi se pehle affairs toh bahut common ho gaye hai. Aur phir hamaare parivaaron ke reeti-rivaaz toh aap jaante hai....so primitive!
Yudi cannot help but once again compare the girl he met the day before and the princess. They were so different!
Yukta continues : Aur phir aap toh Kunwar hai.......kitni saari ladhkiyaan aap peh mar miti hongi! Aur phir ladhkiyaan hoti bhi aise hi hain ke.....
Yudi cuts her : Aap bhi toh ladhki hai?
Yukta feels insulted : Mei AAM (common) ladhkiyon ki baat kar rahi hun, apni nahi!
Yudi : Ladhki, ladhki hoti hai, aam ya khaas nahi! Aam ya khaas hote hai uss ladhki ke vichaar, uskaa swabhav aur uske sanskaar.
Suddenly he is interrupted by Bhavyata.
Bhavyata : Sorry to disturb, Raja saahab. Agar aapki baatien khatam ho gayi ho toh, kya mei Raajkumari ko leja sakti hun? Meri sab saheliyaan unse milna chahti hai.
Yudi : Arre ussmei meri permission ki kya zaroorat hai. She is absolutely free to go!
Bhavyata and Yukta leave and Yudi sits there frustrated and angry. He is recollecting his meeting with Rani when he starts!! He suddenly remembers that he met that other girl in Namrata's room. He immediately gets up and goes in search of Namarata. He finds her and approaches her.
Yudi : Namrata, hum tumse kuch baat karna chahte hai.
Namrata sees the serious look on his face and understands what the issue is. She gets tensed. She asks him
Namrata : Kya hai, bhaiyya?
Yudi : Kal tumhaare kamre mei, hum kisise mile the. Kya woh tumhaari koi saheli thi?
Namrata puts a blank face and said : Kal meri koi saheli mujhse milne nahi aayi thi, bhaiyya.
Yudi : Phir woh kaun thi tumhaare kamre mei? Kal shaam koh around 5.30 PM mila tha uss se. She was dressed up in a pink color dress!
Namarata : Sorry bhaiyya......mujhe nahi maloom. Uss samay toh mei apne kamre mei bhi nahi thi.
Yudi : Tumhaare kamre mei thi toh mujhe lagaa woh tumhaari saheli hai.
Namrata : Nahi bhaiyya. Shaayad didi ki saheli hogi aur galti seh mere kamre mei aayi hogi. Yaa phir koi bhabhi ki rishtedaar hogi.
Hearing the word 'Bhabhi' Yudi winces and thanks her and goes away from there. He is extremely restless and upset!! Every action of his is being watched by Rani. Soon people start moving towards the dinner table. Yudi looks around. Pramod is very busy conversing with Bhavyata, Namrata, Yukta and their friends. His grandmother and parents are chatting up with Yukta's family. All he wants to do is retire to his room and think this whole issue through... but there is no way he can do that and so he reluctantly prepares himself for another round of interaction with people around him. Just then a servant comes up to him with a tray on his hand. There will be a thin envelop with no name on it. Yudi is surprised because he never got letters which were not explicitly addressed to him. Yudi thinks it might be another note from one of the guests and opens it. There will be a hand written note in it. Yudi takes it out and reads it.

Mei woh nahi jo aap ne samjha,
Mei woh bhi nahi, jo aapne dekha
sanyog vash mile the hum,
koi dhoke kaa iraada na tha
Meri nadaani samajhkar,
kal ke apradh ko kshamaa kar deejiye.
