PART 12

His heart swells with happiness, Rani was a Rajkumari, and he wonders why she kept this as a secret from him. He wonders why she changed her identity and attire!

He takes a deep breath, closes his eyes to control his happiness so that people do not get suspicious about him. He opens his eyes with a huge smile and then his smile vanishes creating a hole in his heart! He was seeing a different girl standing before him! He wonders why he was happy seeing Rani…He tries to relate the connection. He wonders why he was not interested in marrying the girl who was selected by his parents with all good interests. He wonders if he has the right to choose the girl who he likes. He is staring at a beautiful face in front of him, yet he doesn't want to stare at her. He doesn't know Rajkumari Bhumi, yet he feels so distanced towards her. He doesn't want to speak to her…He still cannot understand the commotion going in his heart. He wonders what was so special about Rani that conquered his heart in a day. She was just a servant in his palace, but still he had feelings towards her, he wonders why!

One by one people present there are leaving by making excuses so that RB and Yudi speak something. Yudi doesn't want this yet he is forced to! He decides he will keep quiet; he still wants to find a solution to what his heart is thinking….To answers for all the "whys" he just raised few minutes before!

RB and Yudi share an awkward silence. RB sees Yudi not waning to talk, so she starts the conversation.

RB: Aap humse baat nahi karna chahte hai?

Yudi is taken aback by the sudden initiative. He cannot help comparing her voice with Rani's and still wonders why is he thinking about her when he was going to get married to the girl sitting beside him.

Seeing Yudi in deep thoughts, RB brings him back to present by talking again.

RB: Kaun hai woh ladki jisske bare mei aap soch rahe the?

Yudi is stunned and tells her: Hum bas Yunhi soch rahe the, Kisi ke bare mei nahi.

RB: Agar ladke kissi ke bare mei sochte hai toh ek paise ke bare mei ya kissi ladki ke bare mei. Aur aapke paas toh paise ki koi kami nahi, issliye zaroor koi ladki ke bare mei.

Yudi did not want to entertain the conversation and at the same time he did not want to hurt her at the very first meeting. She was so frank and he somehow did not like the attitude.

Yudi: Nahi aise koi baat nahi. Hum to bus Yunhi –

She cuts him and starts speaking: Jee humse chupane ki koi zaroorat nahi. Hume koi aitraaz nahi hai!

Yudi was saved from answering this as all of them returned. He was so pleased to see them.

RS asks happily to RB if she liked Yudi or not. RB shyly looks down to indicate everyone that she liked him very much. RS informs everyone that engagement is fixed the next week and month later is the wedding. Everything is settled. Yudi just stares at them blankly but nods his head. Time slowly passes away and everyone takes a leave. Yudi hurries towards his room without giving a chance to anyone to speak anything about his engagement or marriage.

Rani is in BR's room attending to her needs when she suddenly thinks about Arjun. The way she fell in his arms, she felt very protective. She could sense what his eyes wanted to convey, yet she thought they maybe deceiving her. She remembered her grandmother's story which would always say that her prince charming will come and take the Princess away leaving totally awed! She wonders if it was him, but it could not be love at first sight…Or could it be? She was smiling slightly at her thoughts and hit her head slightly to come out of the thoughts. She was unable to stop thinking of him…She had liked him very much when he listened to her with rapt attention while she gave instructions to serve DK. She started liking him more when he came and saved her from falling….. She was still thinking.

It was only the thick wall that separated both of them…..unknowing to the fact that they were thinking of each other.

Love at first sight for both of them.....I like it.

Who is going to confess first? I want it to be Yudi but Rani should also confess though after him. Hmm....Few more parts coming soon! Well, wait and see who confesses the love first!😉

Yudi is still thinking about her in his room....He does not know how much time he spent thinking about her. He realizes why he liked her; he had found the answer to his questions which he had asked himself. The answer was she was herself and did not change her character in front of him. She behaved so normally that he cannot stop thinking of her and her playful nature. That rain.....her soft hands....Her wet figure in that rain...He was not able to think anything else other than this! For the millionth time he replayed it in his mind.

He did not whether she was also thinking of him the same way. He neither can ask her directly nor can forget her....It was just increasing the chaos in his mind!

Unable to control the wave of emotions, he decided to visit his mother and tell her the situation. He slowly walks to BR's room thinking what to speak... He just opens the door and he is shocked to see Rani there. He does not know how to handle the situation and how to control his emotions which were threatening to overpower him. He knew very well to control his emotions from young age but this was very tender and sensitive, It was as though she was everywhere in him...He stood still staring at her.

Rani notices him and asks him: Kuch kaam tha aapko?

Yudi doesn't know how to respond to that. He never expected her to be there at late night. He did not want to tell the truth either.

Yudi suddenly remembers and says to her: Woh hum aapse yeh puchne aaye the ki aapko BR ke liye jadi bhooti mil gayi ya nahi.

Rani: Haan hume mil gayi, Aaj subah Saksham ji ne laakar de diya.

Rani tries to keep her conversation coherently but his charisma, style, way of talking impresses her even more....She wonders if there is anything that she doesn't like this man! She gets her answer immediately as 'NO'.

Yudi then asks how BR is and leaves.

The next day also Yudi comes to meet his mother, she is present. This becomes a daily habit for both of them to meet in BR's room and talk for a very long time. Day by day they get to know each other...they talk about everything and nothing...In fact Yudi gets to know her the maximum...He still continues with the same lie that he has come to work in the palace due to financial circumstances. She tells him about her village life and how she enjoyed there with her brother. He could see the spark in her eyes when she talked. No could erupt such a feeling in him before as this girl is doing. She was simply dominating him day by day; he had lost control over it and simply gave as he knew he would miserably fail to keep her away from his thoughts. She comes to know that even he was educated, but did not go deeply into his personal matter fearing that he would refuse to tell. Meanwhile Yudi was waiting for her to ask about him so that he could spill the beans.

He becomes envious of her, the way she lives her life! Now at this very moment he felt that he wanted her all his life. He would not survive without her at any cost. He could not deceive her either when she was so open to him. He wanted to tell out everything. He wanted to confess that there was a prince madly, deeply and truly in love with her!

In the meanwhile RB had called him and invited him to the party which she was holding it for friends on the occasion of their engagement. Yudi did not call her back and refuse, he simply ignored it.... As he knew he wouldn't concentrate on it. He very well knew he wouldn't be going to that party; all he needed is a chance to tell RB about the matter and stop the engagement. He wanted RB to understand that he was not the right choice for her and must convince her somehow but before that he had to talk to Rani and confess his love so that he could take this step.

He felt bad for Rani that she believed him fully...He decides to do it soon...He walks towards BR's room at late night knowing that she will be present there.

Rani is standing near the window and staring at the stars, the breeze that blows makes her hair fly (Girls....In my FF Rani has no pigtails, its only open hair!). She looks extremely gorgeous when her hair is flying. She turns to see as soon as she hears the door sound and is pleased to see Arjun standing. He just takes her breath away...She keeps looking at him....Both of them move forward at the same time....and stare at each other.

They both sit in front of each other. Rani is waiting for him to talk and Yudi is expecting her to talk. Both of them stare at each other...Suddenly the cold breeze blows on her face making her hair fall on her face...He slowly goes near her face...and removes the strands...the proximity between them increases. Rani's heart starts beating extremely fast.....Yudi caresses her soft cheek...his hand wanders there for a while and moves further till her ear and puts the strands behind her ear....he slowly follows the path backwards and feels her face which reaches till the corner of her lips......... Yudi suddenly realizes what he is doing, all of a sudden gets up and walks. Rani, who had eyes closed, opens it and sees him walk away. She felt as though something very important leaving her and going.... She calls out for him.

Rani: Jee kahaan jaa rahe hai? Aap kuch kehne aaye the kya?

Yudi turns back and looks at her..He is lost in her eyes...He regains his senses back with great difficulty.

Yudi: Jee ab kaafi der ho chuki hai?Aap so jaayiye, humaapse kal baatein kar lenge.

Yudi goes to his room and wants to divert his attention, so he switches on his Music system...Unfortunately it just increased his longing to be with her and make her all his forever... (Girls...This is the song that plays in his music system.)

He needed to confess soon else everything would be out of his hands! He wondered if she was also going through the same situation...He decided he will do it the very next day.......
