Though I had no doubts in my mind that you would love this show, not because of mere apu's presence but because of the well-sketched characters and great actors, but now that i have read ur analysis i am sooooo glad you finally watched it and i played a little role in that .... along with sharmi ... hehehhe. But seriously honey, i was soooo upset that both my lovely friends, u and nupur are not watching the show and i had to beg u guys to watch. i am not sure if nupur has done that yet, but i am sooooo excited you have and now we stand at the same page. 😊
I simply and completely loved your analysis, and since you had watched all the episodes together, i believe the impact was much stronger. The problems of Radha and her Rohini, the naughtiness of ragini, and the tears of ever-worried ruchi, must have touched ur heart in a much closer way. and not to forget the pain and distress of ammo, who had no one in her life other than shekhar until these women knocked at their door. i sometimes feel my heart breaking when i think of ammo and the pain she goes through every day. a son who probably never even calls her and a daughter-in-law who now wants to sell her home naming it a good return on investment ... how ironic ... life can be soooo difficult at times.
having said that, i am soooo excited to read ur post payal and am eagerly waiting for your take on shekar and rohini.
