Yes, they were very young at that time - Shri Ram is said to have been 16 years old when he got married. So having the very young looking Sumedh as Ram at this point in the story is fine, but yes, he does look quite young to play the grown-up Ram who will be fighting with Ravan! But they are showing the Ramayan story quickly, so it will be done and dusted soon and they'll get back to sticking with teenage Krishna.

And fair enough that they are not showing many of the other Ramayan characters, seeing as they are just having parts of the Ramayan told as a quick story to Radha. At least they won't end up distorting the Ramayan here in RK if they are only showing parts of it quickly.

It is good that they are actually showing Lakshman at all. I'm looking forward to seeing Surpanakha's nose-cutting part - hopefully it will be shown in a reasonable way, even if it is very quick.

Basant has posted some look test photos of Lakshman's vanvaas costume on Instagram today. 😊

These reminded me of his Kartikeya's brahmin disguises from VG, and of his Karn and Vrishsen again because of the archery. ⭐️

BB's bone structure is broader, that y muscular or well built physic suits him so well.... Though both sumedh and basant are of almost same height, sumedh has a narrow structure... Yeah i wonder why don't they experient with stubble or beard

Bb wala lakshman's vanvas look is absolutely killer 😳

Sumedh's vanvas wig is bigger on his face, plus those locks near the ear ain't cool, his prince look was best

Surpnakha is good looking 😝 but the real question is whether they will actually show her nose getting chopped 🤔🤔

Show's writer is a rabid feminist and show's director runs away from actually killing the asurs, they would rather distribute mercy or moksh in bulk.

So not keeping hopes high.

You see the look test pics bb posted, one of them has him pointing bow and arrow... So maybe the meghnaad episode will find place... Though can't say for sure...

They will show the nose cutting for I am expecting 30 seconds or less of that. Lakshman rekha maybe 1-2 min. I am trying keep my hopes low for a lot and for screen time. Since I don’t really watch the whole episode anymore it is a lot easier. My hopes have been crushed too many times😭 so many KaRam and Balram and even Krishna moments I wanted and have not gotten

Meghnaad...keeping very low hopes for that track. Has there even been a Hanuman casted?

Ya I saw that bow an arrow pic in which Basant looks amazing 😁😁😁but I feel that was just a picture to match him with a bow. We might see him shoot it for a bit but I don’t think there will be a Lakshman vs Meghnaad. 😔

I feel it will go like this... little vanvaas romance, Surpanakha, Sita kidnapping, and maybe the Ram Setu . I feel it will skip a lot and go straight to Ram killing Raavan and getting Sita back. Then all done.

I would love for Meghnaad vs Lakshman battle since it is so iconic. But with CVs I don’t trust them.

If there is a possibility of that battle I for once would be fine with some dragging

Atleast, lakshman isn't asking ram after every micro second, 'what to do next', 'what will happen now'😆and giving those fearful expressions, every now and then!😆

I said irony because, lakshman being 'human', is shown much more valiant than, the alleged, divine god 'balram'!😆

Atleast, he has something substantial to do in the ramayan story!🤣

Now, i wanna see more of ramayan than RK (Repetitive Kahaani!😆)
