you are not understanding what I am trying to explain. Let me try again. take it as an analogy. A person who holds the reins can act in two ways - one who knows the route or the direction and hence controls the journey, another - who takes directions from the person who is sitting in the chariot.

So here Arjun is the second kind. He will play the game as per Krishna's direction. Kanha will direct and he will accordingly take the turns in this journey. Well only this makes sense to me anyways.

Otherwise from get go the dialog has been messed up. Dont think that I am advocating the act or the dialog, am just trying to see from another angle, thats all!!

No worries at all, as stormie and others say , no way we should compare or link this show even with an ounce of what actually might have happened as per our puranas.

Against my better judgement, I watched one more episode. That disclaimer they put up at the beginning should have one more sentence😆:

Any resemblance in the show to fictional persons or actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Epic Arjuna must be thinking, "abey, i didn't speak so much in a single entire day that RK Arjuna did in five minutes in one episode."😆

Nor did Panchali garland him. Because after garlanding, she would've become akin to daughter for both Yudhishtira and Bheema. According to Rig Veda and Manu Smriti, younger brother had right to marry older brother's wife but not the other way around.

As far as garlanding part is concerned ..it’s the norm for the princess to garland the winner of the swayamvar .. this garlanding signified wedding . Just as Drupad announced Draupadi vivaha sampann huva .
