Banner contest -ended,results declared

Guys, as we still donot have a dev team ,still we can put up a banner contest officially. However when a dev team is announced, it will be upto the team to reconduct the contest, for time being, we can have a banenr contest

please post your banners through this week and keep voting for the banner you want. we will try selecting the banner BY 30th march

after the banner is selected, i will send it across to a Sam(Naughty_n_nice) who has kindly agreed t to put up the banner for usand also agreed to be the judge.

But Please Hurry up, and decide which banner to put . Following are a the set of rules and informations about the TYpe of Banner to be made and other General rules(Thanks to rules and announcement sections and other Sections)

UP AND DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN TWO WEEKS

General rules for banner contest

Rule 1 SIZE - The banner size should be 728 x 90 (pixels)

Rule 2 NUMBERS - One member can submit upto 5 banners to the maximum

Rule 3 STYLE - All banners should be unanimated, animated banners are not allowed and will be disqualified

Rule 4 SUBSTANCE - The picutres used for the banner should be from the episodes itself.

Rule 5 - ETHICS - Do not advertise/canvass for your or anyone else's banner thru post or PM - this wud lead to disqualification.

Rule 6 - ORIGINALITY - Please dont post in entries directly from the avtaar/signature section

Rule 7 - IDENTITY- Do not put your copyright/name/forum id/any form of identification on your banner

Rule 8 - DATE - we do not have a DEV team but PLease hurry up and try posting and voting here in this thread within 29th march. If Possible, we can finish the final selection by 31st so that the banner can be put up on the first of April, o8

Rule 9 - ADDRESS - Please pm all your entries to its me tan id at one time via one pm so that sorting is easy.

As i am not a dev team Member you can also post your entries here in this thread Directly, but all banners should be posted in one post

How do I attach the banner in the pm?

Upload the banner on an image hosting site like www.imageshack.us or www.tinypic.com , www.photobucket.com

Click on the add image button on the left hand side of the ABC check buttong. It carries a picture of a mountain on it. If you click on it, an insert image box will pop up.

Paste the link of the image where it says: IMAGE URL and click OK. The picture will then be pasted on your message.

YOU will also get an image code for the picture uploaded. It starts with . you can paste that image code directly too.

Selection process

Banner selection will be based on public voting. The banners recd will be posted by us on the forum for members to vote. The banner with the highest number of votes will be chosen as the winning banner.

Please post all within 20th of march, other wise i will make a banner and give it to put it up, 😡later whne dev team is announced we will change it.

. now that it is up we would like to see as many entries as possible😃. Please dont give reasons for non-participation like time (there is plenty of time given to learn + design), lack of software (loads of free downloadable trial softwares available) or lack of talent (all necessary tutorials have been attached). I shall be very disappointed 💔 and heartbroken if the response is not good!!!! , we all are trying to help make this forum better.So lets all participate shall we? 😳

Lakshita(diving dolphin) has thankfully agreed to post picture updates next week onwards, and i ahve also created a picture thread to post the pictures which you may requre immediately for Immediate references

as we donot have a dev team, you will ahev to search a bit for the archive mansion for video update posts if you want to downlaod the videos and watch,

Hi....I'll surely participate..I'm not so good at banner making better at sig making but I'll give it a shot.

But...we only have to take pics from the epis themselves...we cant take them from the promotional pics or anything like that>??
