No...what's going on is everything ok?' yes...I mean no...I just got news that the venue for the meeting has changed' Asad looked at him how is that possible...they can't just change the venue last minute...who ordered it...get me Shetty on the phone now' Zoya looked at Zack and then patted her head crap...sorry Asad that is why I came...I mean to see you I totally forgot...Mr Shetty called earlier asking to speak to you...I wasn't sure where you were so I told him to call Zack' yeah...that's right...Bhai I just spoke to Shetty, he is in the process of calling the others so...well he told me that we are meeting at the Blue Lagoon instead of the Taj Hotel ...something about a Government convention being held' Asad looked at Zack the blue lagoon, are you for real...that's a club' Zack fisted his hands realising what he had just said I know...right...crazy I mean of all places...but they have a few private rooms at the back' Asad let out a deep sigh something isn't adding up...get Sahil to put together another small team...if there is going to be an outburst I want to be prepared'.

Zack let out a deep breath before he looked towards Zoya, she could feel his nervousness but also the anger that he still had towards her.

Zoya quickly walked out and Zack soon followed, as she ran down the stairs he caught up with her and held her by the elbow I hope this plan of yours works...if anything...' Zoya placed her hand over his it won't, I won't let any harm come to him I promise Zack, just make sure he doesn't talk to any of the other people to reconfirm'.

Asad stood at the top of the stairs silently watching the interaction between the two, not being able to hear what they were saying, but was annoyed enough to see her hand over his.

Zoya returned to her room to prepare herself, she didn't know what was to come or even how she would deal with it, all she knew at this moment in time was that she loved Asad and would make sure that no harm came to him.

The house seemed eerie; she sat on her bed trying to take in the deafening silence. Feeling a tightness in her chest she stood up and walked towards the door that led out to the garden as Zoya stepped forward she felt an arm wrap around her waist and pull her in, as a natural reaction she elbowed who ever held her in the gut and swirled around to kick him to the ground. It was when he fell she realised who it was Ya Allah...crap...are you ok' Asad started to laugh as he stood up, he cleared his throat that was one hell of a kick are you crazy...is that how you grab someone, what if I had hurt you?' she said with annoyance. Zoya was about to walk off when Asad grabbed hold of her hand and swirled her around making her gently hit the wall behind them.

Asad slowly raised both of his hands and trapped her in, as his face inched towards her Zoya's breathing started to fade Asad...what are you doing?' You never let me finish what I wanted to say earlier...' Asad please...don't'. Asad stopped and pulled his face a little don't what Zoya? What's wrong?' I...I can't...' Asad lowered his head ok, then tell me what I see in your eyes is a lie, that I am mistaken...tell me that you don't love me Zoya...tell me that there is nothing between us and I promise I will never look back at you again' Zoya felt her insides churn painfully, she wanted to say yes there is nothing between us and you have got it all wrong, but words continued to fail her. Her eyes started to brim with unshed tears. As Zoya closed her eyes her tears escaped, Asad quickly raised his hand to wipe them away. Why are you crying Zoya, is it that bad, am I that bad?' Zoya opened her eyes and looked deep inside his eyes and shook her head to say no then why...why are you fighting this...Zoya, do you love me?' Zoya felt the last breath in her rip her insides and as it did she wrapped her arms around him I love you...I love you...but this...I am not' Asad shushed her as he held her back tightly please don't say anything else...there are no buts Zoya'.

Asad pulled back and held her face in the palm of his hands I love you' he said with an emotion filled voice. He inched forwards and before she knew it his lips had claimed hers, he softly kissed her waiting for her to respond to his sweet touch and when Zoya managed to give in to what she felt their kiss turned in to nothing but raw passion.

Asad and Zoya shared their first kiss and it only took one kiss for them to pour everything they had in to it.

Asad pulled back and looked at her you have no idea how much I have wanted to do that' Zoya felt her cheeks burn red are you ok?' he asked genuinely, Zoya nodded good, now try and get some sleep it's a big day for us tomorrow'. Asad was about to walk off when Zoya held his hand in hers Asad, please...there is something I need to tell you...something important' Asad turned around and placed his finger on her lips whatever it is Zoya it can wait...come let me walk you back'. Asad walked Zoya back into her room, Zoya tried one more time to try and talk to him but this time it wasn't his finger that shushed her it was his sweet breath and soft lips that made her lose all senses.

I love you' he whispered against her lips making her smile, Zoya hid her face in his chest this is too good to be true and when things are too good to be true then they are never good...Asad please before it's too late, let me talk to you' it already is too late Zoya, there is no going back from here...and no I don't agree when something is good it's just that, it doesn't come with anything hidden...like I said before let just this day be over and I will be all yours to say and talk to for as long as you want'.

As soon as Asad walked out Zoya fell to the floor clutching at her stomach Ya Allah, this was not supposed to happen, why is this happening...Haider...Asad...Please help me'.

Zoya didn't sleep for any part of what was left of the night, as the sun started to come up she got changed and walked outside to find Zack. Seeing it was still early Zoya barged into his room making him jump up you trying to give me a heart attack' no but I definitely will have one, get up I need to talk to you' Zack got out of bed and went to wash his face and dress.

What is it that couldn't wait until later?' Zack we need a backup plan, I don't know why but I keep getting this feeling that Asad will suss something out, or something will go wrong...and if it does we need to be prepared' Zoya...just answer me one thing...honestly, have you told your people, do they know what the plan is?' Zoya looked up at him and understood his hesitations in trusting her I swear to you Zack I haven't told anyone anything different to what they already know, I won't let anything happen to Asad...and you forget they don't want to kill him, they want him alive so they can bring him to down and break him piece by piece...so they can punish him for the crimes he has committed' And you feel the same?' Zoya shook her head as she took in a deep breath not anymore, I know my intentions were wrong and I can't change who I am...but you have to believe me when I say that I love him and I won't let them get to him' I believe you Zoya...so what backup did you have in mind?'.

It was almost midday and she still hadn't seen him, Zack seemed to have disappeared too. Api, I am going to meet my friends, please come with me' Zoya gulped as she looked towards Najma Najma...today is not a very good day...you know your Bhaijaan has some important work to do, it's not safe' but it was he who told me to go and don't worry I am not going anywhere around here, Bhaijaan has arranged for us to have a sleep over at the farm house, Sahil will be driving us there...and you know he will want you with me at all times'.

Zoya gave her a nervous smile, how could she go, she needed to be here for Asad just in case something went wrong, she also needed to keep playing along with Haider. If she wanted Asad to be safe she also wanted her brother and best friend to be safe too.

Najma...wait one minute' Zoya ran up to his office and knocked on the door, she waited patiently for as long as she could before she knocked again. Asad opened the door ready to scream at the person who dared to go against one of the very few rules of the house and that was to never disturb him when he was in there. As soon as Asad saw her looking at him his gaze softened Zoya...are you ok...what's wrong?' I'm sorry I now I am not to disturb you...but...' Asad stepped outside the room and took her hand into his its ok...Zoya you look worried are you ok?' Zoya was about to speak when he shushed her wait, come in here it is more private' Asad led her to one of the side rooms and closed the door behind them.

You want to tell me what's bothering you?' Zoya took one big step and wrapped her arms around him please don't go...and if you are going to go don't make me go with Najma, I need to be here with you...I am not going to the farm house with her' Asad smiled as he patted the top of her head hey...way are you so worried for, it's not like I am doing this for the first time Zoya, this is what I do and this is a part of who I am...I only asked Najma to go just in case things got ugly I wanted to make sure that my family would be safe'.

Zoya looked up at him I will be better and less hazardous to myself and anyone around me if I am here Asad, please don't send me to the farm house...I promise you that once this is over I will go where ever you want me to' Zoya I can't take that risk...' Asad please, I will never ask anything of you...please don't send me away I need to be here' Asad cupped her face you know you're a little crazy don't you' Zoya started smiling is that a yes?' Do I have a choice?' Zoya shook her head. Asad lowered his head and softly placed his lips over hers kissing her tenderly.

Asad left Zoya breathing out in relief; she went back downstairs and instructed Sahil to take two maids and Ronit with him Ronit stays with them and you come back as soon as you have dropped them off' see you back soon'.

Zoya went into her room and took out one of the sims Haider had given her to call Zoya, where the hell have you been, why do you keep losing contact, is everything ok...are you safe?' Yes I am...sorry sometimes it is not easy to make any contact' is everything still going to plan?' Zoya closed her eyes, she wanted to tell him the truth, she had never lied to him before as far as I know...Haider I need to talk to you...this guy Asad, he isn't...' don't worry Zoya, just a few more hours then you are free, I promise the minute you come back home I won't let you out of my sight, no more assignments, maybe we can go on that holiday you keep talking about' Zoya smiled as her eyes filled up with tears, she didn't know what was going to happen but she didn't want to lose face in front to of the two most important people in her life that sounds great...Haider I have to go I will talk to you later' she quickly said and cut the phone.

What sounds great?' Zoya felt her body freeze over as she looked up to see Asad standing a few feet away from her h...hi...when did you come?' she said standing up just now' Asad walked up to her and held her by the waist pulling her in you didn't answer my question...what sounds great?' oh nothing...an old friend...we were planning to go on holiday and well...then I came here, she was telling me that they are all going to Goa in a few days' time' hmmm...so you want a holiday too...I am sure we can arrange something, once I come back I promise to take you away for a few days where it will be just you and me' Zoya smiled at him faintly, Asad kissed her forehead and then wrapped his arms around her holding her close.

Zoya felt her inside break over and over again, she feared what he would say, do, when he found out that everything about her was nothing but a faade, an act, a mission to bring him down, with all this how was he ever going to believe that when she told him that she loved him she meant every word. He was the first person she had ever fallen in love with, the first person she had ever kissed and hugged.

Bhaijaaa...oops sorry I should have knocked' Zack said looking away embarrassed. Asad turned around Zack' Zack cleared his throat Bhaijaan we are ready...its time'. Zoya looked at Zack and he understood what she had silently asked for don't worry Sis...we will be back soon' he said winking at her I wish you would let me come with you' she said in a soft murmur Asad held her hand tighter this world, the one we live outside of here Zoya is not for you' I know...may Allah be with you' He always is' and that was the last thing he said before he turned around and walked out with Zack.

Zoya pushed her hair back into a pony, took out her gun and slipped into the rim of her jeans. As she put her jacket on she ran out, stepping outside of Khan Villa Zoya saw the car that Haider had sent for her. Zoya jumped in and drove off in the direction Asad's car went Zack please make this work...' Zoya dialled Haider's number hi, I have left, are you all in position?' yes, we are just awaiting for the scumbags to show up...Zoya if this goes as planned then it will be our biggest hit' I know...and I know we will get them' Zoya disconnected the call you will get them all but not Asad...please forgive me Haider'.

Haider, Jai and Imran along with their strong team of 15 other officers had the whole area cornered, when Sikander Rao and Asad Ahmed Khan turned up there was no way out for them. Haider look, Suraj Mehta, if he is here it won't be long before Sikander gets here' Imran had just finished his sentence and he saw Sikander Rao pull up with in his car along with three other cars. Sikander remained seated as his men came out and stood still with their weapons at the ready.

Haider looked at his watch again Zoya should have been here by now...and where is Asad?' Zoya pulled up a few yards behind Asad's car, she too kept looking at her watch, she needed to get back to where Haider was but also needed to make sure that Asad was far from it all and that their plan was working. Zoya text Zack all ok?' yes...you go'.

As soon as she read his message Zoya turned the car around and sped down the highway to get to her team.

Zack there is something not right...where is everyone...and why are we meeting here in public in broad daylight...I think this is a set up'.

Zack swallowed hard Bhaijaan...this is the place they confirmed' no...give me the phone'.

On the other side of town Zoya had reached her team. Haider hugged her dearly, he hadn't seen for so long, Zoya's eyes welled up I missed you...' me too...come on let's get this show over with' As Zoya pulled out her gun Haider stopped her we are still missing one of our main characters Zoya...where is Asad you said he had already left' he did...I have no idea where he went...Haider we have Sikander Rao right here in front of us...at least take him down' No Zoya we need them together, whatever transaction was going to take place between them...we need to know'.

Haider there was never going to be a transaction, this meeting was arranged for them to come head on and fight it out, after taking out Farhan the blood shed between the two gangs tripled...you are not unaware of what has been going on outside, if we take him out we only have Asad, and he trusts me enough...' Jai put his hand on Haider's shoulder Zoya is right...at least take him down'

I'm going in' Haider pulled back on Zoya's arm no you're not, you stay put and cover me' let me do this...I know what I am doing' Jai and Imran looked at each other rolling their eyes, whenever it came to an operation Haider and Zoya would have the same argument will you two cut it out...why don't you go together' Zoya looked at Haider with narrowed eyes fine, I am going right' she said walking off I guess I am going left...spoilt brat' I heard that' good'.

Whilst they positioned themselves to attack, on the other side Zack had failed miserably trying to get Asad to stay put. Asad had ordered his men to turn around and go back towards the original venue Zoya please have finished what you are doing by the time we get to you...' Zack started saying to himself.

Zoya and Haider looked at one another; Haider raised his hand and counted to three. On three Zoya and Haider walked out and as soon as they did the whole of Sikander's gang were on guard.

Sikander opened the door and came out Officer Haider...nice surprise...whose your little side kick?' he said looking Zoya up and down someone who is going to kick your backside' Sikander started laughing nice set up...never took Asad Ahmed Khan to be a coward...or a cheat...he send in the law instead of being man enough to come and face me on his own' Zoya fisted her hand he is more man than you or your whole heard of fools ever will be Sikander' Haider looked at her from the corner of his eye not understanding why she was defending him.

Sikander we do this the easy way or...' or my way' Sikander finished his sentence and as he did he stepped back. Haider ran forwards as did Zoya, pulling out her gun she shot her first target, and before anyone knew what was going on there was mayhem.

Asad slammed on the breaks gun shots...what the hell is going on?' Asad jumped out of his car and walked towards the vicinity, he pulled out his gun and stood behind an opening. Asad recognised Haider ICIA...what the hell are they doing here...what is going on' Zack managed to catch up with him Bhaijaan we have to get out of here now...before we get caught' Asad looked at Zack you knew...you knew this was going to happen that's why you lied to me...Zack you lied to me about the change of venue...you knew about this...how?' Zack saw Asad's body build up with rage as his eyes darkened I will explain later...please let's get out of here'.

Zack pulled at Asad's arm when he stopped Zoya' he whispered, his eyes wide open in shock. Asad was about to run in towards her not understanding what she was doing here. Before Asad could run anywhere Zack and Sahil grabbed him making him fall to the floor, Asad looked up, his eyes reflecting the panic he felt inside.

Zoyaaa...' Haider called out, Zoya turned around and shot the guy that stood behind her with a crow bar. Zoya ran up to Haider and placed her hand over his cheek you're bleeding' it's nothing...we need to get Sikander'. Zoya nodded, she ran towards the back and jumped on a bike Haider...now' Zoya sped towards him and as she did he jumped on the back, speeding after Sikander's getaway car.

Asad's eyes darkened beyond anything, he stood up she is one of them...all this time...I trusted her, I let her into my life and she is one of them...I am going to k...' Zack stopped Asad we need to go NOW' he said pulling Asad towards the car. Zack was about to take the driver's seat when Asad pushed him away. He got into the car and drove off leaving Zack behind Sahil...get the other car...' Zack had never felt so scared before.

As Asad drove frantically towards Zoya, his mind flooded with everything that had passed between them, he didn't understand it then but it was all clear now.

Because when my mask falls off...it's not my hand you will be holding it will be a gun'

...tell me what I see in your eyes is a lie, that I am mistaken...tell me that you don't love me Zoya...'

Asad banged his hand against the steering wheel as he let out a scream.

Asad stopped the car when he saw Zoya and Haider and a few other officers on the bridge, they had Sikander on his knees with his hands tied behind his back.

Zoya looked towards Haider nice one partner' Haider put his arm around Zoya and pulled her close time for you to come home' the smile that Zoya adorned started to fade as he mind went back to Asad. Pulling back a little Zoya turned around and froze, her eyes widened with utter shock and disbelief.

Asad' she whispered out. Asad looked her directly in the eyes; his whole postured as stiff as anything. Asad pulled out his gun and pointed it towards her, and all she could do was walk towards him.

Zoya...stop' Haider called out as he saw her, Haider's team all started to run towards Zoya and Asad.

Asad looked at her with pure venom don't think for a second that I won't pull the trigger' I don't doubt you...I am here in front of you...you don't give traitors second chances...pull the trigger' I trusted you...I love...you betrayed me and my family' no Asad, I betrayed mine...' Asad grabbed her hand and twisted her around, he held the gun to her head You stop right there or I will shoot her' don't be stupid Asad, there is no way out...let her go and give yourself up' give myself up...you must be joking...I would rather die...but I won't be going alone...I am taking her with me' Asad started moving towards the edge of the bridge Asad...what are you doing...just run' Asad let out a scoff considering how long you have been with me you don't know me very well, Asad Ahmed Khan never turns his back and runs...and Miss Zoya Farooqui or whatever your name is if me and my family go down so do you'.

Haider pointed his gun towards Asad go ahead officer...shoot' he mocked him let her go Asad' Asad please...' Asad tightened his grip on her neck making her wince in pain please what' don't do this' you love me right Zoya...so let's see what you can do for the sake of your love...you are going to jump with me'

Zoya looked back towards him ask me to do anything and I will...if it is what it will take to prove to you that when I said I love you I meant every word' Stop...stop with your faade...the game is over'.

Asad continued to move with her in his hold, just as he reached the edge of the bridge he heard a car screech behind him, Zack and Sahil jumped out Bhaijaan...what are you doing...get in' Asad look Zack is here...run' she pleaded.

Seeing how Haider's eyes had intensified Zoya knew he was going to do something. Zoya used all her strength to pull out of his grip, she turned around and pushed Asad and then turned back around to face Haider. Haider and Asad both raised their guns aimed at one another and as they pulled the trigger Zoya jumped between them. Zoya took a hit from the man that she grew up with, the man who was more than just a brother to her and then another from the man she loved more than her own life.
