Next Day Asad was sleeping on the near Zoya's bed holding her hand.Zoya stirred in her sleep mumbling something which wake Asad up,he looked at Zoya who was continuously mumbling while moving her hands here and there.Asad tried to consol her but all in vain,she did not listen a word he said to her just chanting "maine kuch nahi kiya please chor dijiye muje ,yeh aapki beti ne kia hai maine nahi mat mariye muje mai bekasoor hoon please"cried zoya.Asad's heart scrunched with pain hearing her words,he again tried to wake her up but it seemed she has no idea about anything,suddenly an idea popped in his mind,he softly called her," Zoya no one can harm you,your Ashu is here with you", and it did work after hearing her Ashu's voice she relaxed even in her unconscious state.Asad looked at her with mixed emotions happy and sad,happy that she still held him so high in her life and sad because he made her go through all this.After seeing her in this state Asad met the best psychiatrist and told him everything about Zoya's case, after listening everything the doctor told him that may be she had been depressed from something and after accident her subconscious mind refused to go back to that time and stilled in past so that it did not have to face the present situation.Asad lost in thoughts of the possiblities of Zoya's depression.He knew all could be Gaffoor's doings.He badlly wanted to kill that man who snatched his every happiness but he has keep anger in check for zoya,his first priority.He will give her every happiness,fulfil her every wish which he did not in past.
When he reached home he went directly to her room and saw her sitting in a corner.He walked slowly towards her and sits besides her on floor"Zoya", "would not you talk to your Ashu"Zoya looked at him "Ashu" and stared at every corner in the room "Kahan hai Ashu?" asked Zoya,Asad seemed confused with her question "Zoya i am your Ashu" Zoya looked at him with foreign expression "No you are not my Ashu you are so long but my Ashu is only twelve years".Asad looked at her dumbfoundedly not knowing how to make her understand about their actual age.But he is Asad Ahamd Khan who does not give up easily so he tried another trick.Ok you do not believe me No came Zoya's flat answer "fine once you broke the flower base and put the blame on me and i got scold by abbu"Zoya pouted resembling an innocent child who get caught red handed by parents,Asad smiled at her and told many things that were between the two only.Zoya seemed convinced but still she asked what was confusing her "if you are my Ashu then how become you are sooo big?"and her question again put Asad in difficult situation but uncertainly he answered "because you are big so i am also big"Zoya become confused with answer but reluctantly nodded.Asad sighed in relief as if he won a war."Lets eat something Zoya, come"said asad.Zoya got up from floor and Asad made her sit on her bed.After sometime he returned with food.He pick a morsal and extended towards her,she looked at the food with unhappily but ate it as her Ashu himself feed her.After she ate Asad was going to sit up from bed she held his hand,as if senses her fear Asad sat besides her again and helped her to lay down so that she could take some sleep but she held his hand tighty to make sure he was not going to leave her"don't worry i am not going anywhere"Asad assured her.She took his hand and kept it beneath her head so that he could not go away from her.Asad watched her sleeping peacfully,he was relieved that finally she got awareness though not in full senses but better than before,he will make her happy,give her his friendship for which she craved from her childhood.Dilshad came in the room,she kept her on his shoulder to gave him comfort from the turmoil her son going through."Why did not you tell me before Asad?"asked Dilshad."Kya batata ammi jab mai khud hi kuch kehne ke like nahi tha,aap pehle se hi pareshan thi main aapko aur pareshan nahi karna chahata tha"asad replied.Dilshad did not asked any question further.what the doctor say?Dilshad diverted the topic."He adviced she should not be depressed."Dilshad nodded.
Next day Asad went to shopping with Dilshad and Zoya as per Zoya's wish.They brought almost the whole shop with them when they came home.Nazma was stunned to her bhaijaan loaded with shopping bags who never went with them whenever they offered him to go for shopping with them.Asad looked at his baby sister amused."Tamater help me to take all these in my room."Since Zoya never left Asad for a minute so he decided to shift all her things in his room.After setteling all things in his room Asad got changed into his white kurta pyjama.He came out of his room and saw the beautiful sight unfold infront of him,Dilshad was feeeding Zoya with her own hands and while eating Zoya hold the big teddy bear which Asad brought for her.After she was done with dinner,Dilshad brought her medicines and milk but Zoya flatly refused to take both.Dilshad tried her best but Zoya did not budge and finally Dilshad gave up.Asad who was watching everything with a soft smile walked to them and took the glass and medicine from Dilshad and sat near Zoya on the Couch.Zoya looked at the glass in his hands and turn her face on the other side as if refusing in advance."Ammi i brought the chocolate for Zoya but i think she does not want so i thought to give you instead"Dilshad looked confused first but later she got the hint and smiled at him.Zoya who turned het face on the other side again faced him after hearing him."No i want chocolate"Zoya declared.Asad hid his smile "ok if you want chocolate you have to drink the milk"said Asad.Zoya pouted unhappily "this is cheating Ashu".Asad could not hide his smile anymore "no Zoya this is not cheating,it is a deal if you drink the milk only then you will get chocolate".Zoya made different faces seeing milk but for chocolate she drank it.Asad mixed her medicine in milk as he knew that she will not take medicine even not for chocolate.As she finished the milk she got her chocolate by her Ashu.Dilshad watched her two stubborn childern with a tearful smile.She always wanted them togather like this happy always.She prayed that they both remain togather as now.
It has been one month since Zoya was living with Asad's home and true to his words he never let her cry and filled her life with full of happiness.As sun rays peeps through the window Asad stirred in sleep ,slowly he opened his eyes and the sight before which welcomed him was the most beautiful sight . Zoya slept peacefully with a smile adoring her face and she clutched the teddy bear in her arms.Asad kissed her forehead softly and wished her Good morning.He swiftly went to washroom and got ready for office as knew when she woke up she will find for him.In last one month her day started with her Ashu and end with Ashu only.She needed him everywhere.From last one month Asad was doing office work from home as Zoya was not ready to leave him for a minute.But today there is an important meeting which he cannot handled from home so he thought to take her with him in his office today.But again the difficult task how to wake up zoya because normally she woke up at 11 but his meeting is going to be held at 10.30 and its already nine."Zoya wake up we have to go to office today" whispered Asad softly."Ashu mujhe abhi sona hai"answered Zoya sleeply.Asad smiled at her innocent face.After a lot of pampring and requests from her Ashu she woke up.Dilshad entered into the room with breakfast for both of them.Asad helped Zoya with her breakfast while Dilshad helped her to get ready for office.Zoya wore a blue frock with her favourite micky mouse shoes.Asad made her wear matching hair band.As she got ready Asad took her to car and drove away to office.Dilshad stood at the door until they gone far from her eyes.She sighed watching the sky with tearful eyes"dekh rahein hai aap Rashid hamarein bacche aage badh rahein khaas kar hamhara Asad,he is taking care of your princess very well he thinks he is doing all this out of guilt but you know it is not guilt it is indeed his love for Zoya which he himself is unaware of being an emotionally challanged son of yours" smiled Dilshad at the end.She had keenly observed Asad from past one month,his care for Zoya was not out of guilt but pure love which is above from any desire.She wished someday he realise his love for her but also knew that the day is so far because his son is going to take so much time for this.Just then the phone rang,as Dilshad saw the caller's name she sighed again"Khaiye Haseena Bi"...
