Chapter 4

Zoya after coming out of the shock

Zoya: sorry Asad I don't have any such kind of feelings for you

With that, she got up from her place and moved towards the exit. Asad was little shattered by the rejection but then immediately followed her

Asad: Zoya I will drop you

Zoya: no need! I will manage

Asad: but...(before he could continue he was interrupted by her)

Zoya: I know u will say everyone can't manage everything alone but I can I don't need anyone, please leave me alone

Asad held her hand and pulled her towards him

Asad: don't be stubborn Zoya! I know you are a strong girl and you don't need anyone or at least I'm not the one whom you want in your life

Zoya felt strange when he said that she doesn't want him, she felt liking stopping him from saying such things but was very confused to react

Asad: it's a fact that I have fallen for you very badly but it's not necessary that you should have same feelings, see you agreed to have lunch with me so it's my responsibility to drop you safely. I promise I won't disturb you ever after that

Zoya nodded her head in approval and they went towards his car all the way back to the academy they didn't say a word to each other. As Zoya was totally confused and also she don't want to be in such kind of relationship because she don't want to be a burden to anyone and Asad was very hurt, dejected all kind of emotions was running inside him after his dark past he was finally ready to move on with her his heart said and somewhere still saying that she loves him but then he was now very much sure now that listening to heart had and will always hurt him, like always he went with his mind and decided to forget this chapter of his life though it won't be easy at all. Soon Asad halted his car and Zoya looked confusingly towards him

Zoya: what happened?

Asad: your academy is here

Zoya: oh we reached

It was for the first time Zoya's calculative brain didn't work or else she is always aware when she will reach and at what time.

Zoya: thank you and Asad I'm really sorry for talking so rudely with you...i...

Asad: it's alright Zoya! I understand

Zoya could sense his hurt voice even if he is pretending to be normal. Zoya got down from his car. Asad extended his hand to stop her but then half away withdrew it back remembering his promise of never disturbing her again. once she was inside the main gate he drove from there, Zoya looked back hearing the voice of the zooming out engine. Unknown to her a silent tear rolled down her cheeks which she immediately wiped and went inside

At night

Khan mansion:

Asad was back to his routine of being a workaholic and was doing some work on his laptop when Ayaan entered

Ayaan: bhai I need to talk to you

Asad: yes, say it Ayaan

Ayaan: Bhai, it's about Zoya, the girl you were talking about in office

Asad stopped typing hearing Zoya's name and looked at Ayaan

Asad: what about her?

Ayaan: bhai don't take me wrong but are you sure about it? I mean I know it's not mattering to you but she is blind, it's not a big deal if you truly love her but are you sure its love not some kind of attraction or sympathy

Asad: what! Sympathy, an attraction where does all this came from?

Ayaan: bhai, you just met her, how can you have feelings for her, are you sure that feeling is love? Bhai just that I don't want you to take hard and fast decision and regret later, I don't want you and that poor girl to suffer later

Asad: Ayaan I understand your point and concern but I don't have any doubt about my feeling, even I would have find it weird that how could someone become so important and special that too in a such a short span of time, that you want to spend every moment of your life with her forgetting everything every past, but than Zoya happened and I will never regret falling for her and coming to sympathy it was never a part of my love just meet her once I challenge, you will forget that word forever

Asad was lost for a moment but then composing himself he continued with his work, now even Ayaan realized how much important Zoya is for Asad, all is worries had flown away seeing Asad's mesmerized eyes

Ayaan(chirpily): wow!my bhai is indeed in love, I'm so happy for you when I'm meeting her?

Asad: yup, indeed I'm in love but one-sided love, so you are meeting no one!

Ayaan: one sided love?

Asad(looking at the screen): you heard me

Ayaan: how can you decide that!

Asad(pretending to be casual): I proposed she disposed as simple as that

Ayaan(shocked): it would be the news of the year that AAK was in love and was disposed

Asad just chucked typing something, he was feeling so terrible but he is AAK, he can't portray himself weak even in front of his brother

Ayaan: bhai it's your fault you shouldn't have proposed her so fast, I mean it's a sensitive thing and being a girl she needed time maybe in nervousness...

Asad: I'm a straight forward person, you know that anyways it's a closed chapter so let it be

With that, he went from there

Ayaan: Bhai bhi na, never understand fast forward mode can't be applied everywhere(sighing) I have to do something

In Zoya's place:

Zoya was standing near the window thinking of all the occurring, she was feeling very uneasy after all the occurring

Zoya thinking, "Allah miya you have always shown me the correct path, please help me in this too. I don't know what I did was right or wrong but I had my own reasons which you are very well aware of but why it all seems wrong, please god I badly need your help"

Her thoughts were interrupted by Humeira's voice who was murmuring something, Zoya went from there and sat beside her

Zoya: humi, what you murmuring?

Humeira: baji this movie 'LOVE&U'' I totally hate this concept

Zoya: why I had heard it's such a beautiful movie!

Humeira: movie is good but the characters are dumb, I mean Raj loved Shreya but due to his insecurities that he is not good enough for her he never confessed his feelings, and poor Shreya she also thought that he never loved her and it was one-sided and by the time raj realises his mistake Shreya is gone forever and you know what the dumbest part his at the end of the movie he coincidently meet her again and then he confesses is it even possible

Zoya: why is it not possible before he was confused then finally he realized and confessed when he saw her again

Humeira: yeah that's a good thing he met her again but it's only possible in movies not in real life people gone are gone forever and only lucky one gets the 2nd chance, I don't understand when people find their true love how can they act so silly then they sit and cry

Zoya(acting normal): nice but how did he realize that he is good enough for her

Humeira: when he realized that he can't stay away from her and by driving her away he is actually punishing her which she doesn't deserve, he realized the fact though he may be not good enough but her happiness lies in him

Humeira: wait a minute, baji why are so interested about the movie?

Zoya(fumbling) : vo...kyaaa hain na

Humeira(suspicious):kyaaa hain?

Zoya: I have heard a lot about this movie... It was a blockbuster hit right... So wondering what unique content it had!

Humeira: blockbuster hit this movie really? It was super duper flop movie! In fact, there were so many trolls were made after its release

Zoya(pretending to be annoyed): then why are you watching it!! TV hai matlab kuch bhi dekhneka, I need a coffee

With that she went towards the kitchen, leaving an extremely confused Humeira

Humeira: what happened to her suddenly

She shrugged it off and continued watching TV

Zoya reached the kitchen and sighed in relief and started making coffee thinking of Humeira's words

Zoya thinking, "am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm not good enough but he loves me, but how can someone fall in love within 1 day? Ok that's about him but what about me, do I love him? Ok agreed I have some soft corner towards him but is that love!"

Her thoughts was interrupted by Razia

Razia: where were you lost

Zoya: los...lost and me...no Ammi...i was just just...coffee Ammi I was making coffee for myself

Razia: coffee at this time, you will drink coffee now then you won't get sleep then your abbu will eat my head that what's wrong with my princess

Zoya: sorry Ammi actually I was worried about...

Razia: I'm least interested about your worries, go to your room and let me do my work in peace

Zoya was little bit hurt by her words but she is used to it now but still, she gets affected by it

Zoya: this coffee?

Razia: give it to me I was above to make one

Zoya just gave the cup to her and took her stick and was above to move, Razia took a sip from the coffee

Razia(spitting the coffee): What kind of poison is it!!!

Zoya(worried): Ammi are you ok? What happened?

She moved to touch her shoulder but Razia stopped her

Razia(shouted): dare you to come near me! What did you add in this so-called coffee of yours

Zoya: nothing Ammi, coffee powder, milk and sugar

Razia looked at the container in the table

Razia: you fool its salt, not sugar!

Zoya(shocked): how is it even possible

Zoya took the container and shaked it, indeed it was salt, still, she was not able to believe it. She touched the bottom of the container where she had stuck the braille paper, there also salt was written in Braille

Razia(snatching the container): what are you doing!! Your blindness is making things more hectic this days, why you want to be a normal girl when you knew with this useless eyes of your's you can't be one, now leave from here!!

Zoya left from there with a glistened eyes, she sat on her bed crying

Zoya: how can I be so careless, it had happened not because I'm blind but because of Asad, I was thinking about him and all this mess happened, it's a hint, Ammi is right how much I try I can never be good enough especially not for a guy like Asad, he deserves much better I should not think about him anymore but why it is so difficult

Next day morning Zoya and Humeira reached the academy and they were called by the manager Mrs. Sharma

Mrs. Sharma: Zoya Humeira, we have got one event where I want you both to choreograph that

Zoya: ok Mrs. Sharma, but what kind of event it is?

Mrs. Sharma: it's a Jashn-e-bhara and you guys have to choreograph the family members, songs and everything you all decide according to their preferences

Zoya remembering Razia's words (it's from 1^st chapter)

Razia: if she is saying that she is having work let her go! Humeira has her own life other than being her shadow

Zoya: Mrs. Sharma, I don't think they would be comfortable with me and here also we have hectic schedule, I will manage here let humi handle the event

Humeira(shocked): baji, what you saying? Have you gone crazy? You know I won't be able to do it without you

Zoya: trust me you could

Humeira: but I didn't want to

Zoya: shut up humi you are doing it that's it!

Mrs. Sharma: are you both done?

They both were quiet hearing her stern tone

Mrs.sharma: you both are managing it and Zoya they have seen your choreographed performance and have specially requested you to be the in charge

Humeira teasingly chuckled hearing it but then was quiet after getting dangerous look from Zoya

Mrs. Sharma: I have messaged you both the address, meet them and discuss everything ASAP

After sometime

Khan mansion:

Asad came out of his room talking to someone in mobile

In phone:

Asad: ok, that's perfect!Schedule that BOD meeting day after tomorrow...I want that layout ready by tomorrow...ok then...see you there(He disconnected the call)

Ayaan: bhai, what's all this suddenly you are leaving for London

Dilshad: Ayaan is right! This is not done at all Asad, how can you suddenly decide it

Asad: Ammi it's not suddenly decided but after yesterday's conference, it's important I'm needed there

Ayaan(under his breath): suddenly

Najma: when you are returning?

Asad: if all the work will get completed than maybe by end of the month

Dilshad: ok beta but take care of your health and have food on time

Asad nodded with a smile when their house servant Wajid came to them

Wajid: Ayaan Bhai Jaan, two girls have come to meet you telling you called them to discuss something about Jashn-e-bhar

Ayaan: ok, I'm coming

Najma(shocked): Ayaan bhaijaan you are getting married!!

Ayaan: no!

Dilshad(sternly): then, whose Jashn-e-bahar?

Ayaan: Najma's Jashn-e-bahar you guys remember she is getting married to Farhan

Zoya: actually, we are here to discuss choreography of Jashn-e-bahar, one Mr.Ayaan had contacted our academy, I think we ended up in wrong place

Ayaan: no, you ended up in correct address, right bhai?

Asad glared at Ayaan shutting him up

Zoya(whispering to Humeira): how many people are there?

Humeira: I think the whole family

Dilshad seeing the stick

Dilshad(little hesitated): beta so you are the choreographer...I mean

Asad saw what's coming so immediately handled it

Asad: Ammi that kids performance you saw on youtube of your best friends academy, it was choreographed by her, she is Zoya she is one of the best choreographers of that academy

Dilshad: really beta! That performance was terrific, I really wanted to attend it but something important came up and I had to do so much emotional blackmailing to convince him to attend on my behalf

That's when Humeira remembered him seeing in parking and also as chief guest

Zoya: I know phuphi he told me(she immediately regretted saying that)

Asad thinking,"this girl will really gonna put me trouble and Ayaan let me come back then I will show him the different form of break dance"(looking at Ayaan, Ayaan just gulped guessing his mind)

Zoya: I'm sorry...I mean mrs.khan

Dilshad: nahi call me phuphi only, its sounds good

Zoya smiled in return

Humeira(whispering to Zoya): baji brace yourself, because even Allah miya won't be able to save you from my rapid fire once we are out from here

Zoya just nervously smiled at her

Najma: hi Zoya, btw I'm Najma you are here to choreograph my Jashn-e-bhar, which is gonna happen on (looking at Ayaan) nevermind the point is it is happening

Ayaan thinking, "my plan of making them spend time together so that Zoya can know him properly already failed when bhai decided his London trip, now looking at all the looks I'm getting it's better I start digging my grave"

Najma: you guys know each other so well?

Asad was above to answer when Zoya interrupted

Zoya: no! we just met at that opening event, that time he was angry because I accidently broke his mobile, at that time he said in frustration that he was here only for phuphi though afterward, he enjoyed the event but then other than that there is no connection at all, right Asad?

Asad thinking, "what an over acting! She was sounding like we are lovers since ages who is trying to hide their secret, but then it's Zoya so this is expected "

Asad(looking at her): yeah right there is no connection!

Zoya felt strange feeling hearing his tone but then chose to ignore it

Asad: Wajid my luggage?

Wajid: I kept it all in your car bhaijaan

Asad: good, (turning to his family) ok I will take a leave you all(looking at Zoya) take care!

With that, he rushed out of the house, she signed in relief but wandered where was he going taking his luggage but then like always she ignored it
