An innocent girl, hopeful because she just had flashes of memory where she remembers how the mysterious man to which she is strangely attracted, brought her to life and confessed his love. She is determined to confront him and put an end to this hide and seek for once and all. So in she goes and wakes up the man of her dreams. The man tries to be indifferent and rude but she sees through the pretense. She doesnt ask the questions, she demands reason and confession. She doesnt want to know if he cares for her or loves her because she needs no confirmation for this fact. Her eyes and her heart are proof enough. She confesses even at the risk of sounding too fast, that she likes him too, that his feelings are reciprocated. The man feigns ignorance about what she is talking, desperately hoping that she would not continue it further. But the girl is not about to buy that, she straightaway asks why does he pretend to be rude and uncaring, when he in fact cares for her so much, what is stopping him from confessing again when he has done it already and she remembers it. The man is in a fix. The girl was too close to the truth, but that truth could never be the reality of their lives, no matter how much he wants it. Her safety was in staying far from him and for that the truth needed to be proved as a lie, and her faith an illusion. He could have said that he doesnt care for her, that he is not interested in her, act rude and ordered her to go away. But he has been saying and doing precisely these things from first day. And yet she has saw through the facade, she has discovered his underlying love and concern, no matter how sternly he tries to put the mask of indifference and rudeness. And now she has even got confirmation of what her heart suspected, and wont leave without an answer, answer that convinces her. He needs to do something else. Something so harsh and cruel that it overpowers every memory of truth she remembers and believes in, turns every dream she is trying to live in a nightmare. And so he does it... Mocks her physical appearance, insults her mental imagination, injures her self confidence. Tries his worst to convince her that her belief was an illusion, what she imagined is not just an improbability but a complete impossibility. The girl is shocked and hurt, and yet is not ready to give up even now. His misery should continue. And then fate offers him another cruel opportunity, and he decides to make further use of his misfortune. He insults the girl further and tells her his preferences lie elsewhere. He would rather be with a nameless diversion than to give any name to their relationship. Humiliation is complete. The girl is shattered, and the man too, and so are their hope, love and dreams.
