Hmm so Mahira lag gayi kaam pe.

What a ginormous library and such a tough task set for the poor girl. So Azaad miyan hasn't even made time to see her on the first day? Delivering instructions through other people... Tut tut. Kya hua janab? Were you embarrassed about how you were drawn to her the night before? There is no escaping it😆

So the fire was a major turning point it appears. What has that wretched badi bi gone and done!😡

I really want Mahira to discover something in that library that can help Azaad. Whether it's with the war or lifting whatever curse has befallen him. Poor fellow had no tutor since he was 10. Gosh can you imagine an afraid lost and lonely little boy roaming the vacant halls of the fort, wondering where everyone is gone? Add to that he would've been newly under the curse, not understanding what is happening to him.💔

Ahaan. So chup ke ek doosre ko tadofying? Lage raho lage raho. Uff the description of him sitting on the bench. You had me at "shoulders".😆That garden has really drawn me in. I wish such a peaceful place existed. And janaab also came and peeped in on her when she wasn't paying attention? Like I said there is no fighting it Azaad.

Creepy mirror? This is intriguing. I loved how Mahira handled KB!

Waiting eagerly for the next chapter!

Another amazing update!

I'm loving how this story is going.

I felt bad for Mahira for having to organize such a chaotic room even before beginning her work. 🥱 and I can't believe Azaad crumpled her sample poor girl her heart was broken.

I would have really wanted a scene that shows Azaad's reaction as he read those verses, but I guess it didn't quit make him happy since he left the paper crumpled up like that on the floor. I'm sure he's bitter b/c of what he went through in life.

My favorite scene was were Mahira notices Azaad from the windowpane.

I really love the detail you put in that scene, the way he was positioned, how his broad shoulders stretched the fabric of his shirt and the expression on his face. The birds and the birth-bath.

Beautiful description! You got this scene sketched into my head.

I'm curious about that mirror too is it really extraordinary or was it Mahira's imagination I wonder.

Bari begum is not an easy woman I see, but Mahira isn't less either :D

Overall beautiful update.

yes ! poor mahira. Actually I my eyes watered when I imagined the scene in my head.😭

no, Azad didnot crumple the paper because the verses were ill-written. it actually did its work, touching the chords of his heart which he kept heavily guarded. Same as the show,dear. he believes he is cursed. and mahira will die if she tries to come closer to him.Thatz why he did not want to get her hopes high. Moreover, there was something else too. He felt so miserable for his shortcomings , the reason he could never come close to her, that in his frustrated agony he balled his hand into an iron fist. the paper was in his palm then.so it got violently crushed unintentionally.later when he realised what he had done, he just dropped it and left the room. and Azad never imagined she would find that parchment .

Yaa mahira was admiring his hero...lol kya kare reality mein tho the writer herself was gawking at the guy and having hot dreams of his broad shoulders and sexy abs 😆

To tell her the first day duties😲

Adaq notices mahi's pale face

So adaq khan says not to judge azzu

He has bad past..uska koi tutor bhi nahi tha ...

He taught himself how to read and write

Oh poor azzu everyone had abandoned him ?? hmm🤔❓

Yep the people seem to think he is a monstor

His mom and him...Dont seem lik they even talk to each other🤔

They dont share a good eqation may be...😕

His cousin brother...we didnt even get their convos 😕

Loved the scene where mahi observes azaad from the windowpane

And begum ek moka nahi chodthi mahi ko taunt karne ki

Hmm mahi discovers a magical mirror

She had noticed the mirror before itself

Uss mirror main usne witch ko deka

As matronly women wearing old trinket

Uski cruel eyes hmm

I guess she saw aged women hmm

Would you mind it very much if I say that I liked this update the best so far and totally loved Mahira for the first time? I like my heroines to be focused, determined and with fair share of pride. And Mahira was all that in this update. The library seems huge, and looks like Mahira has an arduous task in her hands. I like. Mir Baksh seems another interesting character and I see hope for some camaraderie if he has to assist Mahira on a regular basis. What would be his age? He seems quite young from this update. and Azad had the gall to keep a check on Mahira in case she steals? Not fair Jagirdar Sahib. But I can totally understand why he would do so. She is a new girl after all and they have no prior knowledge of her background except what she tells herself. And she has at her disposal such precious books, so some caution is required. But of course Azad would know soon that it's not his book that needs to be guarded against being stolen by Mahira, its his heart 😉 . Moving on Mahira was mortified by what Mirbaksh said, and poor guy didn't know where to look. He cou ld have kept the precious information with himself. And Mahira still wants to know if Azad had any reaction to her love letter, I mean sample. That was adorable. As I said I like everything about Mahi in this update. Waise it would be interesting to see what Mahira discovers while translating the texts. I am sure some secrets of Azads forefathers would be revealed to her. So Azad did come to deliver the reply of her love letter in person, while she was taking a short break to day dream about him. But it was a heart breaking reply. He crumpled the sample and left it on ground. That was cruel Azad Miyan :(. No wonder Mahiras spirits took a major setback. But good thing is that she took it out on her work by focussing even more. And Adaq Khan perceives again that something is wrong and advises again to not judge the Darinda too quickly. The mirror was again a very intriguing twist. So Mahira has some special powers too. Azads mother is a creepy lady. And what actually did Mahira see in mirror? Azads mother as she would have actually looked now, instead of the younger version that is on display? That's what I understood, or was it something else? Overall a very interesting update and my favorite so far, even though it had no Azad. On that note, can we have the first proper conversation between Azad and Mahira in next update or two? It's about time :)

PS- I love the banner of your FF. It's beautiful. Fantastic job by the maker.
