Hey guys. Sorry. I guess i shouldn't beso quick to judge since i saw the show when Ayaan was played by Rishab, and he didn''t really do much. I quit the show when Tanveer drugged Asad and made it look like they spent the night with each other.

Pride and Prejudice revisited Hmmm... You have certainly given something to think about. A beautify take on the timeless classic.

Darcy

First half - Darcy, is proud to the point of being rude, intelligent to the point of being un gentlemanlike, cares only for his family and no one beyond. Till here, Azaad fits the bill with the supernatural element added.

Second half - Darcy's character growth and redemption till date remains one the best. I am 100% sure, CVs, are not gonna tread this route, though it would be a delight to watch if they did.

Lizzy

First half - Lizzy is someone who has eyes, ears, brain, a terrific sense of humor, and prides herself on being a good judge of character. I agree, Maahira has some measures of Lizzy, if not all.

Second half - I absolutely loved the part, when Lizzy declines Darcy's proposal. And then after wards, she realises she had been blind, prejudiced, absurd and not so good a judge of character. But mind you, there was no heartbreak. Unfortunately, here, there would be a lot of heartbreak.

Wickham

Wickham was wicked and his story-telling had too many loopholes, but Lizzy was too prejudiced against Darcy to see it. Amaad's story telling to Maahira and her prejudice are akin. But the similarities end here. Amaad is no Wickham.

Azaad had manipulated his date. If Amaad is wrong, then so is Azaad. And his inviting M for date was just a thank you gesture for saving his sister's life. Need to see more of Amaad to form an opinion. It could be just sibling rivalry, or maybe he wants to save Mahira from Azaad. But he is not wicked.

Just as Elizabeth is ready to make the right marriage choice, Darcy becomes the right marriage partner. In the same way, when Azaad will prove to be worthy of her when Maahira is ready to make a choice. Till then, Azaad's gonna be rude without any reason, Maahira's is gonna keep piling on her judgements and Amaad is going to be playboy number one.

VERY nicely put! This formula never gets old does it? When done well, it's an absolutely delight to read/watch.

I can Imagine Mahira being the vocal crusader for Azaads silent knight. They could ultimately be very helpful to each other.

Hahaha! No worries my darling! We all have a fair share of hating! It's all cool! And if I can just suggest you watch a few scenes of Vikrant Massey playing Ayaan...maybe you'll share a lil of our sentiment! Maybe. Heheh 😆

You don't have to be sorry.😊
You missed the best part of Ayaan which was when Vikrant played Ayaan.
Ayaan Nahin Aaaya till date remains my biggest regret in QH.

Wow Gita !! amazing analysis. yes Amad is not an established evil like Wickham...but his way of manipulating the lady's mind with his concocted tales of misery and hurtbreak has uncanny similarities. thats when this same to same darcy-elizabeth-wickham MU crossed my mind !
ofcourse, it is a desi vrsion, so lotz of melodramas are bound to happen along with couple of heartbreaks, bucketful of villainy and if QH cvs lives upon their standard therewould be gory bloodsheds too 😆

aww ! same here, I loved ayan, he is the cutest younger bro one can dream of...yaa he was quite spoilt and remained inactive in hours of need, but that was so like a younger bro characteristic. and he just loved his bhaijaan, no boubt in that. and both Rishabh and Vikrant acted really well.
now the next part, I never knew ayaan went to england, got settled there and brought his family there.yeh part kab dikhai ?? I followed QH1 until KSG's exit.isiliye pooch rahi hoon !
