😃
I would go with Shaad's dad.

I came up with this poll when I was suddenly reminded of Shaad's dad...He was the one character I loved in Pak track...unfortunate that they had to end him like that...

If there is some part I really like about Shaad, it is his dad. (Forgot his name.)

The two did not have a good relationship when he was alive, but I was sincerely touched by Shaad's statement to Ahil that he realised his father's value only after he had left.😊

I vote for him as the best dad because I loved the way he mothered Shaad around- worrying about getting him married...worrying about Jannat being a bad choice (which obviously was)...and finally for keeping Shaad in mind as he died, requesting Jannat to be there for his son.

PS: Didn't include Asad and Imran in this list because we did not get any glimpses of them in the dad's role.

I would have said Asad. But, you did not include. No. No dad. 😆
If you think about it, I just did. EVERY DAD IN QUBOOL HAI had some issue. Rashid ditched his family. Gafoor ditched Zoya. Nawab beat his son. Shady's Dad was annoying.

I'd say ASAD coz, he WAS like a father figure for his siblings. He was like a dad to Najma and Ayaan and Nuzat and Nikhat. He loved them and was indeed a father figure. He was the best dad. Btw, FIRST Asad. xD

I agree with EVERY word you said. I didn't vote for this reason. :)

Out of the Father's you have mentioned, it is Shaad's Dad. He was a very decent man! His name was Aftaab Khan. A very stoic and practical man, but he clearly loved his child and also his estranged wife. Maybe he didnt understand her.

The actor who played him was superb, and I really connected to his character. All the other relatives were lame. So he stood out in that house. His dying wish was for his son to be happy. He was a good person. Even after his son declared he was already married at his own wedding ceremony, he ended up accepting his so called daughter in law, and even confided in her in the end about his marriage. Also, he assured Shaad he spoke to the authorities to see if they can release Jannat from the immigration hold. I feel bad when I think about how his own son deceived him. He never deserved it!

Agree with Naj. Asad was like a father to his siblings, and he would have been a good Dad to the twins as well, but we never got to see it. KSG portrayed the Big brother role to perfection and it is THIS fact of Asad that I respected and connected to the most, even more than his romantic feelings for Zoya. KSG impressed me no end as Asad, mostly coz of the natural way he played Father figure "Asad Bhaijaan", who was so selfless with his siblings. He was a MUCH better father than cowardly dead beat Dad's Rashid and Gaffur.

Shaad's dad! I could connect to him. Asad had the best potential. Agree with Naj

Thanx Mandy, for that beautiful write up.
The character and actor really stood out as U mentioned.👏 There was so much potential in the Father- Son relationship...but they chose to end it like that.

I didn't include Asad since we didn't see much of him as a dad...I agree with all of U that he would have been superb as a dad, going by how he was with his siblings.😊
