Chapter#15
Zoya was shocked at asad's behavior but she thinks that it must be due to work load. But then thinks that there is something else which she isn't able to get.
While in the room asad is walking disturbed and again thinks about ayaan in anger he breaks the glass of his window and then guitar. Then he remembers zoya and her sweet smile and he calms down. Then he asks himself that what will he do? Asad sits on the bed and thinks his miss behavior with zoya without any fault of her. He gets guilty and prays for getting out of this problem he thinks that one one side there is his brother whome he loves more then himself and on the other side is zoya who loves him more then he does himself.
He hears a knock on his door and goes to attend it. Zoya has come with coffee.
Asad: ms.farooquii mein ne kaha tha na k ...
(Ms.farooqui I told that...)
Zoya cuts his sentence and forwards the coffee, he takes it and zoya says.
Zoya: mr.khan mein ander aa sakti hoon?
(Mr.khan can I come in?)
Asad lowered his gaze and cleared her way, welcoming her in.
Zoya looked around to see only broken things in the room.
Zoya then looked at asad demanding an answer for this situation.
Zoya: mr.khan? Ye sab kiya hai?
(Mr.khan? What is all this?)
Asad again looked down and didn't answered.
Zoya understood that there is something wrong.
Zoya made him sit.
Zoya: mr.khan.. Idhar aye bethiye.
(Mr.khan.. Come sit here.)
Asad was not able to look into her eyes.
Zoya: mr.khan .. Meri taraf dekhiye...
(Mr.khan... Look at me.)
Asad still didn't looked at zoya. Zoya held his face and turned it toward herself, asad looked in zoya's eyes and then again down.
Zoya: mr.khan aap mujh se apna dard share ker saktay hain.
(Mr.khan u can share ur pain with me.)
Asad: ms.farooqui ye dard aap bhi kam nahi ker sakti.
(Ms.farooqui, even u can not ease my pain.)
Zoya: aap ko mujh per bheroosa hai na?
(Do U have faith in me?)
Asad looked in her eyes and they share a consoling eye lock.
Asad nods yes and zoya continues.
Zoya: phir jo aap k dil mein hai wo mujhay bataye.
(Then tell me what's in ur heart.)
Asad remembers all again that happened today and turned his face away.
Asad: ms.farooqui jab koi dosra choot puhnchata hai tu itni takleef nahi hoti jitni koi apna punchaye.
(Ms.farooqui, when others hurt u, it's not that painful from the pain that is caused by our owns.)
Asad stopped for a moment and then continued.
Asad: aisa lagta hai jaisay kisi ne dil mein khanjar khoob diya ho.
(It feels like someone has pierced dagger in ur heart.)
Asad looked at zoya who is listening very tentatively.
Asad: aap nahi janti 17 baruss pehlay bhi mein ne khoya tha aur ab bhi mein ussi khonay aur panay k dhoraye pe kharda hoon.
(U don't know, 17 years ago too I lost something and now I am standing on the same ledge of loosing and gaining.)
Asad looked down while zoya puts hand on asad's shoulder.
Zoya: mein nahi janti k 17 baruss phelay kiya hoa tha aur aap ne kiya khoya tha, lekin mein ye zaroor janti hoon k aap ne jo khoya wo aap ka kabhi tha hi nahi agar tha bhi tu uss mein allah ne aap k liye zaroor kuch behtari rakhi ho gi.
(I don't know what happened 17 years ago or what u lost but I know that what u lost was never yours and even if it was then Allah must have something better for u.)
Asad looked at zoya.
Zoya: lekin jo aaj aap k paas hai wo aap ka hai... Aur mujhay poora bheroosa hai k aap usay khud se juda nahi honay dain gai.
(But what u have now its yours... And I have full faith that won't let it part from yourself.)
Asad and zoya looks at eachother and zoya stands to leave when asad holds her hand, zoya turns around.
Asad: dar lagta hai...dar lagta hai k kaheen mein aap k iss bheroosay ko thord na doon.
(I am scared...I am scared that I will break ur faith.)
Zoya says with a smile.
Zoya: mujhay nahi lagta.
(I am not.)
Asad is shocked at her confidence and leaves her hand and she leaves.
Asad prays to allah for keeping zoya's faith safe.

Ayaan is searching zoya on Google and finds in news that it is rumored that she has been sued. Ayaan first gets tensed and uses his contacts to get more knowledge he gets to know that due to asad's company zoya is in trouble. Ayaan smiles evilly.
Ayaan is having birthday and he in his planning forgot that. Rashid on the other hand gets a file as a gift for ayaan.
Rashid knocks the door of ayaan's room.
Ayaan: abu? aye.
(Abu? Come in.)
Rashid enters.
Ayaan: jee abu...kuch kaam tha aap ko?
(Do u have some work...abu?)
Rashid looked at him and laughed slightly.
Rashid: aaj pehli baar tum apni saal giraah bhoolay ho.
(Today, first time u forgot ur birthday.)
Ayaan immediately looked at the date and is overjoyed.
Ayaan: mein ye kaisay bhol gya?
(How can I forget this?)
Rashid hugged him and wished him birthday. They broke the hug and rashid says.
Rashid: ayaan...wo mujhay aaj kisi zaroori kaam se bahar jana hai iss liye tumhari birthday party mei shamil nahi ho sakon ga.
(Ayaan... I had to go out for some work so I can't attend ur birthday part.)
Ayaan: ye theek nahi hai...
(This is not fair.)
Rashid: mein janta hoon iss liye tumhara gift saath laya hoon.
(I know... That is why I have brought this gift for u.)
Rashid forwards the file. Ayaan opens the file and finds it to be a property papers. Ayaan could hardly understand it.
Ayaan: ye kiya hai Abu?
(What is this Abu?)
Rashid: ye company k papers hai, bersoon pehlay hum ne tumhary naam per li thi, iss mein humara 50% share hai, ab tum barday ho gaye ho tu mei ne socha kyon na tumhay soomp di jaye.
(This is a company's paper, years ago we purchased its 50% share on ur name, as u are old enough we thought of handing it over to u.)
Ayaan was going through papers and was disappointed to get this on his birthday.
Ayaan: Abu ye bhi koi gif...
(Abu what kind of a gif...)
Ayaan stopped in between and read its name qureshi and Ahmed's advertising company. He thinks to himself that he has heard this name before. He immediately gets to his laptop and check the name of the company who sued zoya, and its the same company.
Ayaan gets very happy and hugs rashid.
Rashid: tumhay pasand aya.
(Do u like it.)
Ayaan: abu ye dunya ka sab se acha gift hai.
(Abu this is the worlds best gift.)
Rashid: mujhay kushi hai k tumhay ye pasand aya... Acha ab mein chalta hoon ... Khuda hafiz!
(I am glad that u liked it... Ok I am going now... Khuda hafiz!)
Ayaan: allah hafiz!
Rashid leaves and ayaan thinks to himself that now bhaijaan u will know what can I do.

Zoya is talking with his aapi and jiju on Internet. Zoya wants to tell them about asad and about her being sued. She started with telling about asad.
Zoya: aapi.. Jiju mujhay pyaar ho gya hai.
Aapi: ya allah zoya tum kab samjho gi... Aisay besharmoon ki terhaan hum dono ko Bol rahi ho.
(Ya allah when will u understand... How shamelessly u are saying to us.)
Jiju looked at zeenat and zoya from video chatting gave her a "seriously man!!" Look.
Jiju: zeenath!!
Zoya: ya allah kahaan mili thi jiju ye aap ko.
(Ya allah from were u found her.)
Jiju tried to control his laughter and zeenath gave a deathly look to jiju.
Zoya: ok ye lain.
( ok here u go.)
Zoya blinked her eyes like village girls do when they are shy and played with hands and scarf showing nervousness.
Zoya: aapi... Jiju...hawain chalnay lageen hai ...achanak mein khobsoorat ho gai hoon ...aur ...aur mujhay sharam aa rahi hai...
(Aapi...jiju...winds have started to blow... suddenly i am beautiful ...and...and...i am feeling shy...)
Jiju burst into laughter not able to control anymore. Zoya too laughed.
Aapi: ya allah zoya tum kab sudhro gi.
(Ya allah zoya when will u learn.)
Jiju still laughing but zeenath looked just once and he was all quiet.
Aapi: Kon hai wo?
(Who is he?)
Zoya: kon, kon hai?
(Who, who is ?)
Aapi: wahi?
Zoya looked at jiju and jiju signaled him that she is asking about ur love.
Zoya: acha wo... Wo architect hain aur boht mashhoor bhi hain.
(Oh he... He is architect and also is very famous.)
Jiju: acha phir ru ghar banay mein koi masla hi nahi hoga...Haina mein ne theekh kaha na zeenath...

Aapi again gave a death stare to jiju and he stpped.
Jiju: shayed nahi.

Aapi: inn mashhoor architect ka naam bhi hai k nahi.

Jiju: AAK??
Zoya: abhi k liye itni information kafi hai.
(This much information is ok for now.)
Aapi: kyon?
(Why?)
Zoya: kyon k aap loog unn ko track ker k meray nikah ki date bhi paki ker do gai aur mujhay pata bhi nahi chalay ga.
(Because u will track him and will finalize my wedding date and I won't be knowing about it.)
Aapi: wo tu hum ab bhi kerain gai, iss liye tum bata do.
(Even now we will do that, so tell us)
Zoya: dekhain gai.
(We will see.)
Aapi: dekh zoya tu ye theek nahi ker rahi...
(Zoya u are not doing it right...)
Zoya pretend of not getting her voice.
Zoya: hello...hello... Aapi aap ki awaaz nahi aa rahi...
(Hello...hello...aapi I cant hear u...)
Aapi: mujhay sab pata hai.
(I know everything.)
Zoya: Bye jiju, bye aapi.
Jiju: khuda hafiz.
Zoya: jiju I love u
Jiju: I love u too
Aapi: apnay jiju ki awaaz aa rahi meri nahi...
(U can hear ur jiju's voice not mine...)
Zoya: aap ki awaaz kati hoi aa rahi hai ... khuda hafiz aapi... Love u too
(Ur voice is coming in parts ... Khuda hafiz aapi ...love u too)
aapi: badmaash..
zoya disconnects the call and thinks that she cannt tell them as it is her problem and she will have to solve it on her own.

ayaan on go through the papers again and again and then calls the other 50% partner, the partner turns out to be ayaans best friends father. ayaan calls his friend aslam ask asks him to meet him.
both of them arrive at the address and hugs each other.
aslam: ayaan miyaan aap tu humai bhool hi gaye thy.
(ayaan, u forgot us completely.)
ayaan: aisi baat nahi hai aslam, tumhay kaisay bhool sakta hoon.
(its not like that aslam, how cn i forget u.)
ayaan and aslam were very close and they both know each others secrets. ayaan told aslam whole story and the problem that has arose between him and asad. aslam was very tentatively listening to him.
ayaan: tu ye sab hoa hai.
(so this has happened.)
aslam: tum aur asad bhai ek hi ladki se pyaar kertay ho, ye tu mujhay samajh aa gya lekin wo ladki kis se pyaar kerti hai.
(u and asad bhai love the same girl, this much i understood but whome does that girl love.)
ayaan remembers asad telling him that zoya loves asad only.
aslam: ayaan mei kuh pooch raha hoon.
(ayaan i am asking something.)
ayaan: mujh...mujhay nahi pata..
(i... i dont know.)
aslam: aur agar wo ladki tum se pyaar nahi kerti tu?
(and if that girl doesnt love u?)
ayaan holds aslam's collar and says.
ayaan: aisa kabhi nahi ho ga.
(this will never happen.)
ayaan leaves his collar and they both start thinking.
aslam: tu tum kiya chahtay ho.
(so what do u want.)
ayaan: mein soch raha hoon k hum media mein ye baat out ker detay hain k asad bhaijan ki company ki wajha se zoya per case hoa hai.
(i am thinking that we should leak this news in media that due to asad bhaijaan's company zoya has been sued.)
aslam: iss se kiya ho ga?
(what will happen with this?)
ayaan: zoya asad bhai ko apnay career tabha honay ki wajha samjhay gi aur unn se nafraat keray gi.
(zoya will think asad bhai as the cause of her destroyed career and will hate him.)
aslam: aisa bhi tu ho sakta hai na k jab asad bhai ko pata chalay k zoya hi wahi actress hai tu wo case wapis le lain.
(this is possible too that when asad bhai will come to know that zoya is that actress then he will take his report back.)
ayaan smiled
ayaan: aslam miyaan aap ek baat bhool rahay hain k zoya per case hum ne kiya hai, asad bhai ne tu humari company per cse kiya hai zoya per nahi.
(aslam you are forgetting that we have sued zoya, asad bhai has sued our company not zoya.)
aslam: yeah right.
ayaan: agar asad bhai case wapis le bhi lain lekin hum nahi lain gai aur zoya ko tu yahi lagai ga na k iss sab k peechay asad bhai hain.
(if even asad bhai takes his report back but we will not and zoya will think that asad bhai is behind all this.)
aslam: wo sab tu sahi hai lekin agar ussay pata chal gya k case tum ne kiya hai tu?
(all that is ok but if she came to know that u have filed a cse against her then?)
ayaan: nahi pata chalay ga kyon k abhi abhi tu meray naam hoi hai issi liye ye baat kisi ko nahi pata.
(she will not know because just now it is transfered so nobody knows.)
aslam gets into a thought.
ayaan: kya hoa?
(what happened?)
aslam: yaar ek baat tu bata, asad bhai aur tum ne zoya se aak ko le ker jhoot bola tha, ab ussay sab kuch clear hai?
(tell me one thing, u and asad bhai lied to zoya about aak, is she clear about it now?)
ayaan remembers zoya calling him and addressing him aak.
ayaan: shayed nahi.
(maybe no.)
aslam: phir tu wo asad bhai ki jagha tujh se nafraat keray gi kyon k uss k liye tu aak hai.
(then she will hate u not asad bhai because for her u are aak.)
ayaan: arey haan yaar ye tu mein ne soocha hi nahi.
( yeah, i didnt thought of it.)
aslam: humay kuch aur soochna hoga.
(we have to think of something else.)

zoya called her manger and asked for any progress.
zoya: koi solution hai kya?
(is there any solution?)
shifa: abhi tak tu nahi but i am trying, mein ne lawyer hire ker liya hai, he is doing what he can.
(not yet but i am trying, i have hired lwyer and he is doing what he can.)
zoya: kya kha lawyer ne.
(what did the lawyer say)
shifa: wo keh rahay hain k agar hum koi convincing reason provide kerain tu kuch ho sakta hai.
(he is saying that if only we can provide a convincing reason then something can happen.)
zoya knew what shifa was trying to say.
zoya: ek baat shifa mein bata doon, mein jhoot nahi boloon gi.
(one thing i must tell u shifa that i wont tell a lie.)
shifa: zoya plz... this is no joke...
zoya: even if it is... mujhay lagta nahi hai k kuch ur batanay ki zaroorat hai.
(even if it is... i dont think i need to tell u anything else.)
shifa: zoya plz listen.
zoya: khuda hafiz.
zoya cuts the call and thinks that there must be some way out.
she then thinks that first of all she have to leave this house because once the hearings are started, then she may cause more disturbance in this house.

asad is calling ayaan to wish him birthday but he never picked the call. asad was really sad that he was not able to wish him.
zoya came in the garden and sat beside him. there was a silence which ws broken by zoya's words.
zoya: aaj kitni khobsoorat raat hai. (today is a very beautiful night.)
asad: ye kaali raat jo khobsoorti ka libaas urday khardi hai aksar jodai ki nishani hoti hai.
(this black night which is so beautiful today is often the sign of separation.)
zoya: mr.khan milan aur judai ek silsila hai jo hum khud kayam kertay hain.
(mr.khan this meeting and separation is a sequence which is set by us only.)
asad looked at zoya who was looking at the moonlit night.
zoya noticed asad looking at her then she too looks at him. they both get into an eyelock praising each other.
then asad remembers ayaan saying to get zoya at any cost.
asad: naganai kyon aap ko kho dainay ka darr hai...
(i dont know why there is fear of loosing u.)
zoya smiled and says.
zoya: judai tu hai magar lambi nahi ho gi.
(separation is there but it wont be for long.)
asad: matlab?
(meaning?)
zoya looked away and continued.
zoya: mr.khan meray rehnay ka intezaam ho gya hai, i will be leaving tomorrow.
(mr.khan i have found a living, i will be leaving tomorrow.)
asad stood up listening this.
asad: kya? i mean yahan rehnay mein kya problem hai, kuch hoa hai kya?
(what? i men whats the problem in living here, something has happened?)
zoya stood too.
zoya: kuch nahi hoa... bus its just that... mei yahaan zaroorat se ziyaada stay ker gai hoon, i dont want to be burden any more.
(nothing happened... its just that ... i have stayed here more then enough and now i dont want to be a burden anymore.)
asad: aisa kuch nahi hai, aap jab tak chahain yahaan reh sakti hain.
(there is nothing like that, u can stay as long as u want.)
zoya: i know but...
zoya thought something and started to tease.
zoya: ok ab aap khud hi soochiye... kitna bura lagay ga na jab loog khain gai k doli uthi bhi ussi ghar se thi aur utri bhi ussi ghar mein hai.
(ok think urself... how bad it would be when people will say that palanquin rose and landed in the same house.)
asad rolled his eyes and smiled a bit at her silly joke, while zoya laughed.
zoya: trust me mr.khan ... i will be ok.
asad: i know.
zoya hugged him and he too hugged and the both closed their eyes.
