Well so i guess some MU regarding this posts got cleared still would like to share my thoughts

1) First thing first, Aahil is a changed man now, he is not the same womanizing guy n a playboy, Sanam changed the meaning of his whole existence, he transformed n he definitely has learnt so much frm her,

2) Need i say this fact ,that he had consenual sex with willing females, more than that females who were more than willing to get laid , we did not see him forcibly doing it with anyone, still this doesnot make him RIGHT, he was wrong, it was acknowledged by him n us all ,

3) When Aahil was beating up Saif i was disappointed cz it wasnot only Saif's fault, Nazia was also involved so beating only saif was 😕 i think Nazia also required some scolding, but anyways, Nazia wanted this marriage n so his brotherly side showed up n he wanted to fox things cz i think he thought Saif would hv taken advantage of Nazia

but anyways it was not written quite in depth, nor was i much interested in Nazia' s drama , i was more interested in Saif Chudail dynamics honestly, cz thats pretty much intetesting ,

Pak track seeemw so boring infront of the hot n happening drama going over in IM 😛

The way Aahil.is behaving these days is a bit off, im disappointed , but i would bear it all as a possible SaHil meeyting is on our way,

First, it is not clear what exactly made Aahil react the way he did. Whether it was the pregnancy or the fact that Nazia slept with Saif.
Getting angry over an unplanned pregnancy is different than being angry over having slept with someone.

Yes, izzat was talked about, because Nazia is pregnant. Whether he would've had the same reaction if he simply found out she was sexually active is a different matter.

Aahil should've been shown being angry at Nazia and Saif. He should've been shown angry at Nazia for not BEING CAREFUL, or being CARELESS! That is what should've been shown.

But you think that would've gone down well? The fact is, that is the truth in many families--forget Desi but liberal non Desi families. And yeah, when it comes to upper-class, socialite Desi families, it is the reality for many there as welll. But if Aahil were to react in this manner towards this situation, what would be the reaction? Hmmm?

Already it is on the forum said that Aahil reacted too tamely, and once again the correlation was made between pregnancy and his own Casanova ways. When actually, while they are related (because obviously pregnancy is always a risk and possibility when one is sexually active), they are also two different matters.

But I bet you, if he had reacted with a angry reaction at Nazia for being careless, it would not have gone over well either with a different set of audience and forum members themselves.

But I agree with you, it was a great opportunity for the show makers to actually be courageous and gutsy and take that route. And if they would've done it, I would have applauded them.

Till then, i am glad that his reaction was muted and we don't see him talking about his sister's izzat but rather family izzat. And in my mind, that is a very meaningful distinction. If this were about her sexual activity and 'chastity' he would've talked about Nazia's izzat. But the fact that the talks about Ghar ki izzat implies that it's more so about the pregnancy. Although he should've blasted Nazia too for being careless.

Next point, which Prags already pointed out. He is not the one who insisted on the marriage. He even almost rubbished it and questioned how Sanam2 could even bring it up. Nazia wanted the marriage, and that's what made him agree. And of course once Nazia wanted it, there is no way he was going to let Saif off the hook.

In all, they did walk a fine line, I feel--the creatives. A they did a pretty decent job by being careful in exactly how they had Aahil react and what he uttered. Was it perfect, no? But it wasn't outright and completely regressive either.

Mic,

Ahil is a bit tame these days..Totally Devdas.😉😕

When Ahil meets Jannat- He could be easily fooled into believing she is not his Sanam, I suppose.

He is not even going out in 'search' of Sanam. He is just getting away!

I have a feeling they are going in for a chance meeting with a girl who looks just like Sanam.😊

As for Ahil's reaction...I don't think it is the morality of it. He knows how timid Naziya is..and when she ends up getting pregnant, he must feel Saif took advantage of her.He would think Saif pushed her into this... which must be the truth also. And I bet it was just 'one time'...Naziya would have felt bad after that...which she totally does. She knows how bad it is for the izzat of the family...I am just happy Ahil reassured her. So I can understand his reactions.

I can see your point.. it doesn't mean if a girl is pregnant, it automatically means she wants to marry the man she may have had relations with once maybe.
If men have a choice not to marry a girl he slept with, why can't a girl.

That argument was quickly dispelled when Nazia herself clarified that she wanted this rishta. That means she has feelings for the young man Aahil was making chapati of.

But speaking outside of the story, what if it wasn't consensual? Rape? Why should the family force a girl to marry the man who violated her?

I think it was good that Saif got few tight slaps for being irresponsible . On top of that he has the gall to refuse the engagement. Not a gentleman.

Asad was different. He thought he was out of his senses at the warehouse and had forced Tanveer into sex. He was so full of self loathing but he stoically stood to rectify himself by marrying the pregnant Tanveer.

A little gullible maybe, because he didn't even insist on a test because he couldn't fathom that his best friend was not as innocent as he thought.

Coming back to the scene yesterday , I would be worried if I were Nazia. The man she has fallen for did not look very convincing before her Bhaijaan. Instead of reassuring responsibility, he had the nerve to refuse the engagement.

Of course he did rectify that it was because his Aapa was absent. It would have been nice if they had included a scene between Saif and Nazia , to make us a little more sympathetic to Nazia's plight.

Sorry for the long essay!

Lets face it! When your sister or your daughter comes home pregnant before marriage, you do NOT start acting like some "Liberal lecturer" and give speeches on how you believe in rights of everyone to practice "Sex before marriage!". I grew up overseas most of my life, but in my family (my immediate and also our extended family who were spread out over the world), it was always an expectation that;

1. You do not get pregnant outside marriage

2. You do not "Get" anyone pregnant outside marriage.

My family have a strong value system, but we are not conservative. But we have always been told that you have to be responsible. Aahil as a brother over-reacted when he found out Saif got his sister pregnant! That is the long and short of it. Most guys would!

Yes Aahil has had relationships outside marriage. He had flings, and as far as we know, no one got pregnant. If HE used protection, then I doubt those women would have got pregnant! He must have taken his own precautions, not relied on women. But Saif of course has an "agenda" so maybe he got Nazia pregnant on purpose, and now because he has met someone else, trying to ditch her! Fact remains, Aahil was happy with this Rishta and his sister's choice. But he got pissed off when he realized his sister was already knocked up and invited this guy home to meet him! Also, Saif refused to get married without his sister's consent, even after he knocked up Nazia. So of course Aahil was pissed off. I would be too in his shoes! You get my sister pregnant, and now suddenly want consent from "Your sister" to get married? Did you ask your sister for consent when you got this girl pregnant? So his reaction was justified!

He showed that he was supportive of his sister's choice when he escorted her to the Sagai, and said that "All I care about is your happiness!". She apologized to him for breaking his trust! Nazia was always shown as the "conservative and full of Tehezeeb" sister. Shazia was the outspoken one who wore short tops! LOL. Shazia always told off Aahil but Nazia never dared.

Aahil acted as most regular brothers would! My husband has an older brother and a younger sister. They may have run around with girls before marriage, but when it came to their sister, they always looked sideways at most guys! Even they are not conservative. But fact remains, guys are protective of the women in their family / friend circle etc. It's just the way they are! It would be different if he gave all these speeches to his sister. He didn't. He didn't tell her she was characterless to have sex before marriage. But he as most brothers would, probably thought Saif initiated the sex, not her! That is the fault of the way their brain is wired! Nothing can change that! LOL.

He does not think his sister has no right to fall in love or give into love. But as siblings / parents we ALL have certain dreams and expectations. I suppose Aahil's dream for his sister was not that she will come home pregnant and he will have to get her married. I think that was why he reacted as he did. He was practically these girl's Father, as they had no Dad and Mum was in jail as well. So of course he feels responsible.
