@SA & Mandy- Agree with all that you both said.
Forgive them, the CVs, they know not what they were doing😆

Misuse of Mitwa backfires,angers loyal AsYa fans.
Invoking Zoya's ghost on Sanam backfires,angers Sanam fans.
apple pies& balloons anger Ahill fans.
Aunties can't care less for the hyper active Jannat & handsome cross border soldier.
Misbha with missing thumb makes people yawn.

Desperate situations need desperate measures and that's what they've been doing, trying everything that worked earlier.

let's see how they turn this around.

Exactly Mandy.
Seher at that time was not being conveyed as anything other than a conwoman...so even if they had shown her share the room (as unpalatable as it would have been) she would have been in character in the sense one don't expect her to have much of a standard when it comes to money...
So the execution was ALWAYS crystal clear that she is a "grey" character exploiting a man for MONEY...

Here the execution is such that the guy is hailed a hero, an indulgent caring gentlemen while doing pretty much the same thing as Seher did with Ahil while she was a conmwan...THAT is what is actually sick here...
If they make it come off as he is as wrong as Seher was then, instead of using the fake couple as ship bait as KK says, this would not be as disgusting as it comes off now...

Actually how is the situation that Sanam is now in that much different from being trafficked to another country...well yeah she is not being used as a sex slave but that's not the only way girls being trafficked are used for...sometimes they just work as bond laborers or factory workers...currently she has as much freedom and agency as any of these girls might have in such circumstances...
Exploitation is exploitation in which ever way you dress it up...

@SheAish:

True that! I never liked what Seher did, but she was a "Con-women" and that is why I told everyone at the time that THAT is her justification for what she does! She didnt have the same moral compass as someone like Sanam or any of us, who were brought up in proper homes! She lived on the street and then was living with a thief and a call girl! So what would have been her moral compass? Even STILL she was not tacky enough to share this man's room! (We see her GENES do give her some decency).

At the time, the makers never tried to say that Seher was a hero. She was a con artist wanting to steel this man's money! Simple. But here, they are trying to tell us that Shaad is a Hero (coz all this is about catching a terrorist), and making him act even WORSE than Seher did! He is acting even more unconscionable and continued to lie and exploit a women who's real name he doesn't know! He is not a Conman. He is an Army Major. So we expect HIGHER standards from him. But we are not getting that!

Your right, she may not be a sex slave or a bonded worker, but she has NO choice in the situation she is in. Because of his lie, she thinks she BELONGS here! So she will not know that she is being used and exploited, not loved and cherished! But they play Mitawa, show chance peh Dance, and they think ALL things are justified!

Mic,
I am yet to watch that part of the epi.
There are two ways to watch the execution.
One is that all the Shaajan interactions remind Sanam of Aahil...which is very sweet.
The other one is that it is so easy of her to embrace a stranger which makes no sense as an amnesiac,...and the fact is, she has forgotten her soulmate as she dances around with Shaad.

The viewer seeing it the latter way gets traumatised because it is butchering Sanam 's character...which is why we have a problem with the execution.

As for me, I want Aahil to put a board outside his house once Saahil reunites- 'Balloon therapy offered.'😉
What is the point if the balloon therapy is not specially for Aahil, but for every Tom, Dick and Harry.😆 Might as well make it her profession.

Ah! But I guess there is still a Sanam fan inside me telling me that all this is speaking of Sanam's innocence.

She feels nothing around him. Even seeing him half-naked, only makes her laugh...with Aahil, she would have blushed.☺️😉 😆

@Soup:

Do you remember how she acted when she saw Aahil topless in only his pants with a towel around his neck? She never laughed. She could barely BREATHE! LOL

She was FULLY checking him out, and even he was feeling it. Lateef comes and tries to check out her hot man, and she stops Lateef from ogling him! "He's mine B***H" she was saying to him! That scene was Gold!

So the scene with Shaad, even though he was in his "Boxers" mind you, was no where near as impactful. He was hiding coz she is a stranger, and she thinks she is his wife so she laughed at his behavior. Aahil was fully FLASHING to his blushing bride, held her gaze as if to say "Like what you see baby?" LOL. He has no reason to hide in the cupboard coz this is his legally sanctioned women, checking out his body! Even in an outtake IV SJ and KV were laughing about that scene. (The good old days!). SIGH!

But yes..a LOT of the things Sanam has done, is actually coz she is thinking of her real husband. The suit she gave Shaad to wear, the Apple pie and now the Balloon thing. It is all stuff from her past that she had shared with someone else. The reason she acts so Wifey, is coz she IS a wife! Just not Shaad's wife. My heart feels SO heavy when I see her behaving that way, coz I know all that love is for another man! I think even SHAAD knows this! :)
