Lol Shajan had a balloon scene but it was actually all about Sahil.

I actually haven't been watching regularly since ages and wasn't planning on watching today's episode either especially that copy balloon scene but I heard someone talking about the balloon scene and how she said "Aahil" and there was junoon tere ishq ka playing in the background so I decided to watch that scene.

And surprise surprise it's actually all about Sahil with Sahil flashbacks and their tune and like you could kind of make comparisons between the Shajan balloon scene and then how intense and intimate the Sahil scene and actions in the flashback were. Also at the end you could tell Sanam when she said "Aahil" was so lost in the flashbacks and that memory and feeling of Aahil that she couldn't even see Shaad. Like she didn't even realise how she said "Aahil" instead of Shaad's name and how Shaad's expression totally dropped and he stopped. It was like she wasn't even there with him but with Aahil if you get what I mean.

Our Sanam is coming back guys and yes Shaad it's nice that you're starting to guess early on that this Aahil is the guy Sanam (aka the girl YOU decided to call Jannat) is in love with.

I really felt for him today, poor Shaad. She slapped him mentally when she said aahil without being disturb or even realize it. And you were true like she was just with him, with Aahil all the time. The memory became clear than before and even SJ in her acting was looking more to Sanam than Seher or Zoya.

I get what you're saying.
But she's still not Sanam. Though she is much less toned down than earlier Jannat.

Shaad-Jannat situation makes me feel all sorts of uncomfortable.

i don't understand how we are supposed to look on this guy in a positive manner.

Still not cutting it for me.

I wanna see what they do next week and the week after that.

I know I know but what I meant by "Our Sanam is coming back" is that she's slowly starting to remember Aahil and even said his name. She loves him and knows him even now but she just can't piece everything together yet. She said his name today which is a big step and slowly hopefully she'll start to remember more about herself and once she starts to we'll maybe get our Sanam back.

I felt for him too especially since they're meant to be having this scene where she's trying to help him and then she calls him Aahil and then he realises she isn't even seeing him but the guy she loves. It was like a kick in the teeth and I felt for him.

I have not seen the scene Maria. I haven't watched since KV exit. Even before that I had stopped but caught up just to see the show while he was there. That is when I saw the Shaad -Janaat scenes and I really didn't know what the fuss was about?

The scenes were nothing like ASYA, and did not have their charm. Just by playing their BGM that didn't make me think they were like ASYA. Actually it made me distracted and I started to think of ASYA in between watching the scenes, coz those BGM's are SO distinct and in your mind it's like it's planted. So hard to get it out. I honestly found SEHAN so much more authentic and entertaining than I find this pairing. I enjoyed their scenes a lot to be frank. Especially when "Suneheri" was conning Rehan, it was such a hoot!

I hope they don't kill Shaad or turn him into a nut case like Faiz, now that Aahil is coming back. These CV's cant be trusted. My issue with Shaad is the honesty thing and I think if he told her the truth, a LOT more people would appreciate his character and what he brings to the story. It's not the fault of the actor, or character, but the makers! They need to know how to "Sell" someone with justification. Not just use their "face" as BAIT, or use ASYA BG as bait! VERY lazy storytelling as usual, and that is why this track got so much backlash!

Nothing they have shown in the past 4 weeks is worthy of the "gushing" that it has received! A lot more thought and sensitivity should have gone into the execution of this track. But that is the specialty of these makers. They trivialize everything. I even liked Shaad when he first came to the story. The first scenes of his, and his meeting with Sanam. Even the initial lies were acceptable. THEN they show him not telling her the truth out of the FEAR that she will forget Shashi Kapoor! THAT is where they went wrong. Even if they did that at the start, they could have had him decide to tell her the truth much earlier in the piece and the story would have had a better flow!

For a "Love Triangle!" to work, a GENUINE emotional connect between Sanam and Shaad is needed. Not this "fake" connection of her assuming him to be her husband! If she knew the truth, then the connection would be REAL. So when her husband comes back, she would still rely on Shaad, coz technically HE is the only person she knows and trusts. Aahil is someone she cant remember, but she knows she has a relationship with. The STRUGGLE she faces would have been the story! But for THAT to work, these makers need to give this subject matter it's due respect. Which they don't! I had such HIGH expectations from this track and triangle. But when I saw the execution, I was totally put OFF! Then KV quit and everything went to hell in a handbag! LOL.

Hopefully now they will try to salvage the story and make some sense out of it.

True. The execution of this story has been so poor and unrealistic. They've portrayed everyone in a bad light.

Shaad is acting selfish and like when you find some girl who's lost her memory the first thing you'd think is "oh wait she might have a family who's desperately looking for her" and try to find out and help her not keep her in your house and not do anything and let her keep thinking she's his wife just because you need to catch a guy. Sanam also isn't acting like someone who's lost her memory. You'd expect someone in that situation to be scared and confused and somewhat distant and withdrawn maybe but here she keeps referring to it as a "bhoolne ki bimaari" and is acting all unrealistic and like nothing is wrong expect the few times she remembers something.

She doesn't remember her childhood or family and friends and nothing but what Shaad has told her and in fact she remembers nothing about herself really yet doesn't seem that bothered about it. How unrealistic.

@ Maria:

This is the problem Maria. We were hoping to see a "well executed" track, when I saw the promo. The "Leap" was also meant to fast track this Pakistan premise and show that Sanam landed up in Pak, and now is living as an Army Major's wife. We didnt know exactly how it happened, but that is the story.

The better way would have been after she goes with Shaad and his wedding to Misbah is stopped, if they took the leap and then show Shaad is back at the base, and keeps coming and going to check on Jannat. He may by this time told her the truth, and she tries to remember her past, but cant. The fact that they are not a real couple is "Their" secret. Everyone would have appreciated that story!

But INSTEAD, these makers made a "joke" out of it, and showed Jannat totally unconcerned about not recalling anything. Very casual about it all. Calls it "Bhoolne ki Bimari!". NO hesitation with Shaad at all. (who is actually a stranger she cant remember, even if he WAS her real husband). Acts quite casually about the whole "second marriage" as well. They try to make her seem more like Zoya and Seher, and THAT was were the falseness started. Then of course they shot those blouse hooking scenes etc. (All not needed for this story). They just tried to make all of this look like some Romcom, when the reality was FAR from it. Poor execution and trivialization meant MANY people were put off by it. I think TRP audience must have got confused as to what they are trying to show?

Shaad is not some Gunda, he is an ARMY officer. So for him to continue to lie, and now even share the bedroom with this strange girl who thinks he is her husband, is really unacceptable. It is the irresponsible way they executed this track with such a CASUAL feel to it, that ruined it! Only people who care nothing for the story, and only just a few SCENES started to appreciate this. Because from STORY point of view, it was totally FALSE and weak to the core! Unfortunately for the makers, not everyone got on their bandwagon, and some questioned the characters and the story.

I saw after the criticisms, that SUDDENLY Jannat stopped saying she has "Bhoolneki Bimari" and started to say "Jadaasht Chali Gayi". Also, suddenly she wanted to speak to her family, and find out why she and Shaad had married in secret! ALL the things they should have shown the first week, they started to show 2 weeks later. So it was clear it was the people's cririsizm that made them change. But THEY should have thought of all of this themselves!

HOW were they planning to show the "Love Triangle" when the truth comes out that Sanam is not married to Shaad? If HE doesn't tell her the truth, then why would she even look at him again? Wont she HATE him for misleading her? Coz only if she KNEW the truth, and considered him her close confidant, that she will continue to rely on him, even when her husband comes! Dont know how they plan to do it now. MAYBE out of the blue, they will make him confess the truth, JUST so they can make this story more REAL! But if they did it 2 weeks ago, this track would have had MORE takers. I would have liked it. Coz it would have been about Sanam's genuine connection with a person who genuinely is looking after her and trying to do the best for her. With NO honesty, all this "Shaad cares so much for her" type statements ring FALSE! If he does, then the first thing he will do is tell her the truth! THEN everyone can accept there is something genuine here that is worthy of "appreciation". Not some nonsensical "Cuteness", that dosent cover up the massive HOLES in the narrative!

The baloon scene would have been completely lame for major and Jannat if they would have not shown Sahil Flashbacks! Cause when they were showing the baloon therapy on them yesterday it looked so disconnected. Jannat needs more improvement as Sanam! She acts absolutely nothing like Sanam. Shaad and Jannat equation is really weird and highly awful. Shaad character needs 360 degree redemption. Therapy scene was forced for them while Sahil one I still was having tears yesterday. Anyways I can't pity that boy still.

Have one question did the balloon burst? It was one of our dear members's wish.😆
I hope Jannat's hormones stabilise and Shaad start distancing himself from the fake husband's role and start wondering what's the story with the stranger he is sheltering.

I see this going the AhEr way. The kKeep trolling viewers when he'll tell the truth or when his lie will be caught and by the time their fake wedding truth is revealed, Aahil will land claiming to be her husband and Sanam refuses to believe him.
