If you think showing a women exposing her back and stomach to a man who is a stranger and then showing said man doing up her blouse and tying her Dori is an "OK" scene then it is your opinion! But others differ in their thoughts, and we have all the right to! You are free to view the scene any way you wish, however the scene itself was inappropriate because of the fact that they were strangers!

The blouse was too low cut and was not really that suitable to a Walima in a conservative household! They could easily have put her in a more covered outfit but they didn't, for the very reason of doing this scene, which was not really necessary to further their plot! Those of us who spoke against it spoke of VALID concerns regarding how they have shown this women compromise her self respect in front of a strange man. I will never detract from what I said because what I said is true! All others who said similar things also saw the point we were all trying to make, which it appears the makers and/or the channel saw as well! The scene was way too risque coz not even a "real" couple in this show has had a "blouse hooking" scene, and they chose two "strangers" to do that scene! I don't see why it was needed? Just to show Jannat's sense of disconnect with Shaad, even a simple Dori tying in a more conservative outfit would have done! No need to have a backless top with hooks off as well? It was the limit! That is why it got cut!

As for the actress, it is her choice what she does, but people are allowed to feel disappointed if they want to! It is not a reflection on her character but on the mentality of the MAKERS of this show, who are the people that personally I ciritised! I said she did not have to be put in a short backless blouse, when they didn't need to do that! They could have put her in a more classy outfit, but they chose not to! The MAKERS are the one's at fault not the actress! But unfortunately not everyone thinks that way, and when a scene airs it is the actors who gets the first flack as they are actually in it! But the makers are the true culprits and the blame lays with them!

I dont think anyone said anything against Varun (at least I never saw a comment like that). He is new and he can't influence scenes or tracks, but SJ is the senior here and since she is the FL, you would think she may be able to voice her opinion. But maybe the "culture of terror" is such they cant say anything?

The scene was found UNACCEPTABLE👎🏼 and was therefore CENSORED.👏

Why are people even trying to debate it?😕 If it was OK, it would have been on our screens.😉 Simple as that.

Don't tell me a few people commenting on India Forums have the power to change the scenes now!😆
