If people should complain about a married woman not in her senses getting her dori tied by another man because it is vulgar, and because they are promoting this couple, what about Tanveer stripping, Asad and hugging him, and pretend sleeping? What about Sanam 2 doing that with Aahil? Agreed. They were vamps. Who said, Shaad is virtue personified? And WHY should he or anyone on TV be so righteous? In reality, no one is over good or larger than life sort of good... What about Rashid who had two wives? Vulgarity is in thoughts... THAT was vulgar. When a man is 'touched' by someone other than is legally wedded wife, no question of vulgarity arises. WHY for a woman? I am looking at it solely from the point of view of how men and women are looked at... As a woman myself, I find it totally unfair that, men are allowed to have more than one wife, whereas it is considered vulgar if it is shown for women, and that too when she isn't even in her senses... Even Aahil and Asad were unconscious... They shared ''intimate'' moments with people not their legally wedded wife. More so for Aahil... Not Asad directly... Yes. I didn't like it. Because, well, I ship only SaHil... But, it wasn't vulgar.. I apologise if I have offended anyone. :P

Najma- this post isn't about the ShaJan's dori scene alone. It's about the general vulgarity they have shown from season 1, including the incidents involving ahil & asad that you've mentioned.

About Rashid &Ahil having multiple wives, i think thye've used the Muslim background cleverly.it's allowed in their religion and it's legal in India for Muslims according to their personal laws.

@Bold-IMO- the objection to the dori tying&hooking seen was precisely this, the thoughts behind putting Sanam in that situation, which was meant to romanticise a victim's plight.

Hmm I don't think it was her dress/ blouse that was so much of an issue... it was the scene itself. I don't think a married woman would be in that intimate proximity with a strange man and asking him to hook her blouse and tie her doori. Jannat is obviously set to believe that Shaad is her husband so she's just doing such things to get close to him, she thinks her husband is just shy. If Sanam was in her sense, she obviously wouldn't of asked a random guy to do that. There's a reason that they decided to edit that scene out.
I didn't read all the comments in this thread but from the topic I got the idea that this thread is not just about that one scene. It's about all the messed up crazy stuff that has been shown in this show. From Tanveer's killing spree, invalid marriage, countless murder attempts on Sanam, witch Sanam killing innocent ppl, also selling SaSe to sheikh ... etc etc. just my opinion

@Simran and Booteful, Thanks guys! For taking my comment in a very positive light... Otherwise, Forum mein toh, every small matter is raked up and bashed upon. Almost all of us, indulge in this... xD I guess... I hope it is not only about the dori issue... I am not concerned about what is a law and all. Even if it is. Personally, I myself feel, a man can have only ONE wife. I don't think any wife needs to share her husband... IMO, the law itself is redundant. I ask such cheap men, in real life, TV mein, they show all sorts of circumstances, especially with Aahil, poor guy. I ask men in real life, will you accept if your wife had another husband? If not, you can't make her share you. Violence is something... *laughs* I saw today's episode... Billi's daughter isn't even Misbah? LOL.LOL.LOL.LOL. Why did I not see this coming? :P QH will give ideas to potential criminals. Maida mein glass pieces... LOL.LOL.LOL.

Glass pieces in maida? this is the kind of things we need to object.

Naj, my problem was never the blouse itself or even hooking the blouse and tying the dori! MY problem was, that they were showing a women who had been mislead and THINKS of someone as her genuine partner, being taken advantage of! I don't think Shaad is a bad guy or a pervert or anything! But the truth is he is NOT Sanam/ Jannat's husband! He knows this, she dosent! She is only giving him these liberties coz she thinks they have a close relationship! Any other time, ANY women, married or not, would not ask a strange man do up her blouse! THAT is why I said, they should not show a scene like that and attempt to "Romantisize" it! Becaus that is sending the wrong message!

It is only romantic if they were in a real relationship. But considering they are not, and this women is mislead, it is irresponsible to try to show some sort of "chemistry" type thing, by making this stranger do up her blouse! I objected to the vulgarity of the "intention!". The intention was to put two strangers into a compromising situation together! They were cynically using this opportunity to show something RISKY! Well they were wrong to do that! Because this is not some stort of sleazy show made for cheap thrills! At least I didn't THINK so, but the makers even pushed the envelop on that one!

I went to Forum 32 and I told them, that they need to be a bit more responsible as a lot of impressionable young people watch their show! It is wrong to mislead them into thinking that a women who is allowing a man to touch her because she thinks they are in a relationship, when they are NOT, is romantic! Shaad I an OK guy. But even he knows what he is doing is wrong!

I agree with your statement that a man does NOT need two wives! I also agree it is cheap and unfair! Whatever reason that law was brought in, it is now not used for the same reasons! Now it is only a vehicle for some men to fulfill their lusts in a legal way! Which is wrong! If a women can't have two husband, then a man should NOT be allowed to have two wives! End of story!

Az& Juhi, going thr' their previous decisions, IMO they will say, those scenes were essential to move the story forward and won't find anything objectionable.

Want to share this mail from BCCC, they do take audience views seriously. Do write to them, if you feel strongly about certain issues.

Dear Ms. Singh,

BCCC viewed the complaints pertaining to the programme "Qubool Hai" on Zee TV and advised the Channel to be cautious in dealing with such depiction which promotes and glorifies superstition and occult. The complaint was DISPOSED OF.

Yours sincerely,

Ashish Sinha

I'm surprised QH is still on air considering the amount of disturbing things they've shown.. One of the most horrific being the torture of Sanam at the hands of Tanveer, that strangling scene sent shivers down my spine. Isn't QH aired on prime time TV? It's really inappropriate for prime time.
