Saying "Dont watch" is not the solution. So dont tell us what to do! If you want to watch such scenes and approve it, go ahead! But people are allowed to disapprove it they want! But there is such a thing as "Standards" and this show has breached them shooting a cheap scene like that between a women and a man who is a stranger to her! (That is why they have a Broadcasting Standards authority) so if people feel shows are breaching standards they can complain!

This women is only exposing her body to this man, because she thinks they are married. But he knows they are not, and the MAKERS do too! But they still want to show scenes like this for shock value and vulgarity. It was totally unnecessary to further the story. So all it is is an indecent scene promoting vulgarity. Showing a women loose her self respect and dignity in front of a stranger should NOT be deemed as "Entertainment!"

THAT was my point, and if they DIDN'T air that trashy indecent scene, that means the channel must have told them not to! Finally the channel has decided to show some CLASS! Something the makers of this show don't have!

Mandy awesomely put.
I seriously beleive rhese makers have a fetish for "Forbidden romamce" they tried out their hand during AhEr track, i cant tell u how awkward n wierd it was to watch it during that time, we expressed our disapproval n disgust, i thought the makers would learn but no , they had the audacity to show even more vulgarity between FaHa 🤢 those scenes were completely pukrworthy, i dint watch them , just used to fast fwd them, still the tiny bits i git to watch sometime made me go red with disgust n emabarasment.

And when one thinks all the limits of propriety have been crossed here came the baap of all,,,,,, a girl in a semi clad state asking a guy who is not her husband/lover/basically whose not her anyone to tie the dori thinking he is husband ... Sick it is no doubt but what was more sickening was they had the guts to romantisize it, then publicize it n there are a bunch of ppl who were actually fantasizing thiz pukeworthy disgusting as well as disturbing scene. Heights i must say 🤢

So yeah basically if they think they should go ahead with this track they should, i just wanna see how much "appreciation" thry get for showing "forbidden romance"

Pervs they r no doubt šŸ˜•

Yes this is coming from a very open minded n broad minded person, but its my personal disliking towards such scenario, i m so glad that even today, people belonging to western culture are finding it inappropriate, that is to do with ur morality rather than the cultural impositions i think.

šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘ for this post??

Btw how do u know that F32 ppl r visiting the forum?? Well i think they hv actually edited out the scene, good fr them

In Lahore there are all types of people..Conservative and Modern both..I am from an open minded family ..we have faith in God ..follow Islam ..honestly i don't offer prayers regularly ..I know its shameful but i won't lie ..I keep fast during the month of Ramadan..but when it comes to wearing clothes i wear sleevless jeans whatever i want to.I went to a college that was co..i was allowed to be friends with guys...not all Pakis are wearing burkhas in lahore..Its a misconecption..so i would probably say that i follow whatever i can..and if there are a few things i am not following..i hope God forgives me for thatšŸ˜† ..i am not a prefect Muslim and i know that.so basically what i want to say is.Pakistan is not as conservative as people assume it to be..

Hey i belong to Pakistan as well. N like u hv said there r all types of people ,conservative , modern, but still i live in Islamabad n which is much more open minded than Lahore, people dont really care about whats other one doing, n still i hv been to Co Ed institutes but sleeveless here is still a taboo right, n i hv been friends with girls from all the classes , elites to middle class but i hv not seen people wearing sleeveles/ mid riff and back baring clothes in a public place except a very minority if i guess 2-3 %

Its not that im critising the one who wear sleeveless but if u talk about majority then no, u wont see people roaming in the markets or public places in such kinda clothes... Or wearing such clothes in weddings n all except fr say 2-3 %

Also considering the discussion going on in this thread I'd just like to add my own piece.
I'm a muslim and a pakistani and so is all of my family though we live in the UK. And I wear English clothes but my parents would never let me walk around with my back or stomach uncovered infact they don't even like completely sleeveless tops like a vest or showing my legs and tbh it's an unspoken rule in our pakistani community that such nudity in front of people is tacky and vulgar and I've never asked permission for that because I've never minded. The way I've been brought up I'd feel uncomfortable showing my back or stomach anyway. I'd feel naked and exposed and like I'm stood in my undergarments.

My point is I know a lot of Pakistani muslims and even here if my family or friends or anyone sees an asian Pakistani muslim friend or family member dressed like that they basically think she's dodgy so I don't see how in Pakistan on your walima this would be regarded okay. Like my family and friends would die of shame if I was dressed in basically only my bra (which is what a choli is like) in front of strangers and guests and a man that isn't my husband.

Maybe Pakistan has gotten ahead and allows these sort of things but from the few times I've been to Pakistan and have heard continous stories about it women who dress like this in Pakistan are often seen as "item girls" and "randi's" and women often look down on them because in their eyes they're dressed in basically their undergarments and when I went to Pakistan I wouldn't be allowed to go to the bazaar alone because there were a lot of ogling men so I don't know how Pakistani muslim families there would take kindly to their family women dressing in their bras in front of people.

Lol its not as bad as that, as two other members have pointed out, people of all sorts are here, u ll find burqa clad to fully covered to stylishly dressed to sleeveless, all sorts , depending on the society, u wont find peole roaming in sleeveless in a bazaar byt people do wear it in the clgs, or functions , but not the majority.
Majority of the girls like to cover them selves fully ,dont wear sleeveless , but uts not like anyone will come n shoot u fr what yr wearing ... It depends mostly on the family background.

The family they r showing is a cobservative one so its basically inappropriate to show suck kind of clothes , although people do wear such kinda clothes. Recently saw pics of sharmila farooqui's wedding n people had actually worn such kinda mid riff bearing n backless choli's but lets say they r a mere 2,3%

@ Mischy:
I am actually shocked they edited it. So people's comments must have made the channel intervene! Well that means the channel IS listening to people at least SOME of the time! It is the way these makers are showing this track I have an issue with, more than the track itself.

First they make Jannat so unrealistic and make her someone who cares nothing about knowing why she has no memories. How real is that? She will believe anything Shaad tells her. Next he will say the earth is flat and she will believe that too! How lame. Either ways, they only wanted to make her this way, so they can show these unerealitic scenes of her living happily, when she is honestly in mental trauma. She never wonders who her family is? She has just assumed she has no one. She never asks Shaad ANY intelligent questions. Like how did they meet, why did they marry in secret etc?

That is why I cant even get into this track, coz it is SO fake and contrived, just like this couple! Even that scene was set up in a cynical way, with her dressed so trashy, ALL just to get him to see her half unclothed body and even HELP her put on her blouse hooks? Even her REAL husband never did that! There is a limit to cheapness, and they reached it! Good that they got told, and they could not air their vulgar scene! Sometimes these people need to be brought down a peg or two!

Mischy I dont think general audience would "Fantazise" about a women exposing in front of a stranger as romantic, when they know she is under misconception. Most will just feel sorry for this girl for loosing her self respect! Glad the channel saw it that way too! I am sure general public may have complained if the scene aired. Coz they got done a few months ago for showing Sanam being smothered by Tanveer and Khala Khalu. So this would have gone down as another "Aityachar against defenseless women" type scene.

I had Pakistani friends at university and I even had a friend who went to a Prominent military Medical academy in Lahore I think or Peshawar? My friend at Uni was from Islamabad and we were quite close during Uni days. Both she and her brother were close friends of mine and they were very modern but very classy as well! I never saw her dress in small revealing clothes even though she was living in NZ at the time. (Nor any of the other Pak girls I knew). So that is why I thought those clothes were clearly not appropriate and they only put her in them for her to be exposed to Shaad! Serves them right they were not allowed to broadcast their vulgar scene!

Mandy u know when i was watching the epi i had not visited the forum till then , i was so shocked when i saw them descending the stairs straight away , no dori scene, i was like hows its possible?? Then fwded to watch if they ll show it, but it was not there, not even a mention of it , u know what i was so elated. Whoever brought this sanity to their minds, i m really happy cz they were sensible enough to not show that,it was vulgar and tacky no doubt. I knew geberal public were not fantasizing but some people here were, so if the F32 people were thinking that a few people are fantasizing this track so r the rest of people they r surely wrong, it has been proven time n again that only the teen audience diesnot contribute towards trps ... If they hv visited the forum n seen that post , Im really happy that they avtually got to know that it has caused n uproar n decided to use the scissors. Or maybe the channel wale acted wisely n decided to edit it out. N i dont want to even get into "this is fiction not reality stuff" if its fiction then still they hv some moral n social respinsibilty , propagating, trivilizing a serious issue like this would hv been pathetic
Its really remarkable that after all the cheap publicity on sbs, sbb and e24 they still dint show it, whoever was the sane person has to be applauded

I wanted such kind of a scene between SaHil though, the dori untying one was so classy at the dhaba plot, such kinda scene where hes helping her getting dressed would hv just set it on fire 😳

They shot the scene so they can "Air" it right? I didnt know they didnt air it, coz I cant see into the future. I made the post after I saw the SBS and SBB and saw how tacky and vulgar that scene was where the girl was so exposed and giggling and making this strange man hook her blouse and tie her dori! They usually just show "tying dori". But in THIS scene they even went one step ahead and made him hook her blouse as well. That is how cheap this scene was!

Never on this show, even between real couples who know each other's real names, have they shown such exposure! What was the reason they had to show this much exposure and girl getting strange man to touch her body? She is only exposing coz she thinks she is married to him. So it was a clear scene of a girl loosing her dignity in front of a stranger. THAT is why I made the post, coz the makers of this show made that scene, and publicized it on SBS and SBB, as if it was something to be proud of!

The channel must have got complaints and found out about the scene and made them edit it out! SO they didnt do it coz they are "decent". They did coz channel told them! IF they were decent, they would not have shot a vulgar third rate scene like that in the first place and have the gall to promote it like it's romantic? (As in this is a true married couple on the way to Walima). These makers have no standards, but the channel must have feared back lash and stopped the scene from being shown! Finally someone did the right thing!

I also went to a prominent medical uni mandy n we had students from all over , from all classes, some foreigners too. But even the foreigners dint use to wear inappropriate clothes cz they respected the sociery n its norms, wearing sleeveless, shorts etc maybe fine in west cz everyone is dressed like that so nobody bothers ,but here 99% are dressed in a certain way n that 1-2% will so surely attract some attention, plus some sick people do hv xrays fit in their eyes they dont even spare the fully clothed ones šŸ˜† but yeah we do feel comfortable in properly covering ourselves, it gives us the comfort n protection. I hv been friends with guys, do wear jeans , or whatever i like to , n majority here is like that.

@Mandy I agree with each and every word! Although they have removed the scene, I wont give 4loonies too much credit šŸ˜† If they were concerned about viewers or even respected us, many things would have been handled different! Anyway Mandy, you have voiced the opinion of many, not once but many times! Some understand and some dont (or maybe they do šŸ˜‰)! Thank you so much! This was a solid post! As for GK and Co, I no longer have words to describe them lol
