I haven't watched the scene but if it is like you say and she's completely backless and her stomach is uncovered and she's basically stood in about as much material as a bra in front a stranger then that is so tacky and I'm so thankful that Sahil/AsYa/Sehaan never got such tacky scenes.

Also considering the discussion going on in this thread I'd just like to add my own piece.
I'm a muslim and a pakistani and so is all of my family though we live in the UK. And I wear English clothes but my parents would never let me walk around with my back or stomach uncovered infact they don't even like completely sleeveless tops like a vest or showing my legs and tbh it's an unspoken rule in our pakistani community that such nudity in front of people is tacky and vulgar and I've never asked permission for that because I've never minded. The way I've been brought up I'd feel uncomfortable showing my back or stomach anyway. I'd feel naked and exposed and like I'm stood in my undergarments.

My point is I know a lot of Pakistani muslims and even here if my family or friends or anyone sees an asian Pakistani muslim friend or family member dressed like that they basically think she's dodgy so I don't see how in Pakistan on your walima this would be regarded okay. Like my family and friends would die of shame if I was dressed in basically only my bra (which is what a choli is like) in front of strangers and guests and a man that isn't my husband.

Maybe Pakistan has gotten ahead and allows these sort of things but from the few times I've been to Pakistan and have heard continous stories about it women who dress like this in Pakistan are often seen as "item girls" and "randi's" and women often look down on them because in their eyes they're dressed in basically their undergarments and when I went to Pakistan I wouldn't be allowed to go to the bazaar alone because there were a lot of ogling men so I don't know how Pakistani muslim families there would take kindly to their family women dressing in their bras in front of people.

Obviously there's a reason it was deleted. Maybe they realised how vulgar and tacky it was having their MARRIED female lead standing in about as much material as a bra (I haven't seen the scene but I'm guessing the choli was inappropriate seeing as people have said it was backless and showing her stomach) in front of a complete stranger.

Maybe even they realised how wrong it was to have a married woman standing half naked in front of a strange man?

😆 It is not like that.

Gul must feel the audience wronged her with IPK shutting down. Actually, I feel bad for her ...the fans were pretty violent...really bad. No one should go thru that!

But I am really glad the show shut down...because that was one show that ended well...and at the right time too...Many of the QH tracks are from ideas she got for IPK... the moment U want to stretch a love story, it loses its charm. Glad IPK escaped that- BUT IT WAS NOT FAIR.

I think they stopped listening to fans after that. HS fans were the most decent...it was a small forum...and a short show. Even then, the makers failed to realise where they were going wrong...they shut out the fans...I suppose based on past experiences. The show tanked...and everyone blamed Sony...The fact is, it had a lot of negative feel to it...plus wrong channel, wrong timing.

I heard there were no takers for a muslim story when Gul wanted to do QH...Zee was the only one ready to experiment.Actually Gul herself said that.

Maybe what you're saying is correct. No one deserves to be treated the way Gul was during IPK, but that was the past. She did what she wanted to during KSG's departure. But there has to be a limit to playing with the emotions of so many fans.

If once she was treated badly by the fans, not necessary all would treat her like that. There are so many ideas on the forum that they can pick, and am sure there is no need for them all to even look here for positive tracks, THEY are the ones who are the CVS and why they are in that position has a reason to it, there is no lack of creativity there. All they had to do was divide it into seasons.

But whatever it is, why are we even talking about her... As it is Mandy said, she's in the wrong business.. Maybe, maybe not... I really don't care for this show anymore 😆 Am actually not even watching 😆 come here to just read the few ASYA stories that are left and to post mine 😛

The difference between this scene compared to similar scenes in other shows is that Shaad is a complete stranger and Sanam is still married to Aahil. The reason Sanam is ok with exposing herself in front of Shaad is cuz she believed Shaad when he told her he's her husband.

This is the point that people dont want to accept. But the reality is, what they were showing was highly inappropriate and Shaad ogling her body and touching her was very cheap!

But I heard they didn't show that scene? How come? Was it not in the previous episode? Because SBS was showing it, playing all kinds of Faltu romantic songs, trying to make it look like they were a REAL married couple going to their Walima, not a pretend one where women is being mislead.

Even those SBS and SBB people are so cheap. They showed this scene like it was romantic. When the truth is, it was a scene of a women exposing in front of a stranger, under the misconception he is her husband! But media people from these shows are SO irresponsible anyway!

You know if they didnt show that scene WHY they didnt show it? Coz people would have said something. I tweeted ZEE Tv and Forum 32 and told them I think the scene is cheap and tacky, after seeing it on SBS. Maybe for a change, they actually LISTENED to people! LOL
