He had a chance to tell her the truth, after meeting with the doctor, but as soon as he mentioned that "Regaining her old memories might make her forget new ones!" he went to panic mode and decided to play along faking to be her husband. Then of course we all know what happened at the wedding etc.

When a women feels that she has been violated, sometimes she feels like you dont want to live. In this case, if Sanam feels weighed down with shame and guilt that is a natural reaction to a women who realises she cheated on her partner. (not by her will, but by omission). But the fact remains, she cheated and she will feel shame and guilt and want to die! (I doubt she really will), but that is what it feels like! Also, nowhere is suicide mentioned!

You feel unclean, and violated. That is the most natural reaction! Any married women would know. That would be like the worst thing in the world. If it happened to me, I think I will loose it. That is why this storyline offends me so much and I can never support it. Because you know how much it hurts if someone cons you into a fake intimacy and you realise that that was totally wrong! I can imagine how terrible she will feel and it pains me!

I don't understand your reasoning. She hasn't done anything to feel guilty or shame for. They live in separate rooms. She saw him in his boxers? You do that when you go swimming too, married women do go for swims and do see half naked men there. What else? Did they kiss? No. Did they consummate? No. So how exactly did she cheat on Aahil to presume that she will "die" of guilt and shame? And no, don't just presume that she may do all those stuff, you can't punish someone on your presumptions and assumptions. "Die" due to being used? Girls get used a lot worse in this world, would you expect them to die of shame and guilt? No, right? Then why such expectations from Sanam? A life is not a joke. Dying is never a good enough punishment for anyone but awful sinners like serial killers and terrorists. Sanam is hardly that.
