Completely Agree with you. Same feelings except I had tears seeing past Aahaan scenes😭😆I just wanted to added a few things regarding Rehan as a character...
The cvs didn't really do justice to his characterization properly all this while, specially with regards to how he dealt with knowing Tanveer's intentions about the property and Ahil AND knowing what Sunehri did to Ahil...
Yes I know some did not see these loop hoes at all and did not think it reflected badly on him...
But for some of us, it did not make him come off as the noble and strong minded character he is proven to be at the end...because what ever his reasons were for keeping the truth from Ahil regarding both the property and Sunehri, ...him taking that bullet for AHil irrefutably shows that he had the best of intentions with regards to Ahil and he would NOT have allowed Tanveer to get away with usurping Ahil's inheritance.
I just wish they could have shown this clearly all this while too through his actions or self reflections. I always insisted he should have been given some monologues to show where he stands clearly regarding these issues instead of leaving it up to the audiance to come to their own conclusions...it was left open...Maybe because they were not sure how to shape him up, whether to cast him grey or not...or just plain lazy as always.
I loved him and his bonding with Ahil so much prior to that grave yard episode and the few weeks right after that, but his lack of meaningful action or reaction to Tanveer's intentions towards Ahil made me stop liking him...and then swap truth came up and now I had a new grievance against him again...
Now all characterization faults has been dealt with in one swift horrible action, but for some of us in a very unfair manner that it makes me feel guilty for what I thought of him earlier...I know its fiction, but it makes me feel horrible that all this while they didn't show his strong character for all to see without any room for arguments...
No I didn't cry, and Ahils obvious distress made me kind of so uneasy in my stomach...but my overwhelming emotion is anger at the cvs for doing this...and I feel cheated out of enjoying him all this while...all those beautiful Ahan scenes...
