Part 2

Razia was in the kitchen, getting food ready for Bagat ji. Tanveer came in the door and Razia side glanced her and said "Why weren't you ready since morning" Tanveer just showed her smile which showed her crooked teeth, She looked at her and said "And no face pack even today?" and again Tanveer showed her crooked smile and chuckled a little, Razia got irritated and scolded her "I disapprove of all this, and stop showing your teeth." Tanveer shut her mouth close and Razia handed her tray of food and said, "In front of the guest, walk properly." Razia left saying that and Tanveer started to sway her hips, and chuckled Zoya stopped her from doing that and went in to the living room with the trays. Bagat Ji and Gafoor were sitting and Gafoor was drinking tea while Bagat ji was eating rabri and he said "Madhupur's rabri is the world best rabri!" he got up and said "Gafoor, beg to be excused now, I should start leaving, Bhabhi Ji, may both your girls marry the world's best sons in law, soon you have my best wishes." Tanveer spoke from the back and said "Thank you uncle, for making Maa smile." Gafoor stood up the Azaan was being spoken in the near masjid, he said "Razia, time for me to go the masjid." Gafoor started to go out with Bagat ji, but Zoya stoped him and draped his shawl around his shoulders and said, "He always forgets." She said bye to Bagat ji and said "Do come again Uncle." and she left, Gafoor stood there looking at his daughter walk away and spoke "She cares for the smallest of my needs, more like a mother then a daughter." Gafoor wiped his tears. Bagat Ji said "Gafoor ji, you wondered how I recognized Zoya, fact is there's much talk in our social circles about her beauty and her beautiful nature, you must have received several proposals for marriage for her?" Gafoor said "Yes, but times are changing and values are too, good proposals are far too few. For Zoya, I seek a home where her values will be respected" They started to walk of the house and Bagat ji spoke "Gafoor sahib, I have in mind a boy for Zoya, a nice, handsome boy from an excellent family, you've heard of Mr. Rashid Ahmed Khan of Dilshad group of Industries in Delhi?" "Who does not know him? He's one of the luminaries in our society? Bagat Ji said "He has scaled peaks of prosperity, yet he is firmly rooted in simplicity, He is a very open minded person, For Zoya I am suggesting Asad, Rashid's younger son"Gafoor looked at him astonished he said "I cannot even dream of an alliance with so high and mighty family." Bagat ji replied "Are the sons of the high and mighty to go unmarried? Which family doesn't need a good daughter-in-law? Gafoor tried to speak "But." Bagat ji stopped him saying, "No excuses, Rashid is searching for a good daughter in law and a very good daughter-in law, is what I'll suggest him. Now, give me Zoya's photo." Gafoor thought about what Bagat ji said and he smiled at him and said, "I will get it."

Razia was in the kitchen with Zoya, Tanveer came in with face cream on and said "Look Ma, loads of face cream on happy now?" She was in the mood of fun so she spoke "jiji, snap my photo I want to send it to the zoo, come on Maa, Babu ji sends jiji's photo to Delhi, can't I send mine even to a zoo?" Zoya stopped what ever she was doing and looked up at Tanveer. Tanveer hugged her mom from the side and said "Ma, can I tell jiji about the Delhi-wallah boy?" Razia got irritated and said, " I don't like these cheap antics." She removed Tanveer hand from her shoulder and walked off mad. Zoya came near Tanveer and said, "Who's this Delhi walla? Tanveer told zoya to come closer so she can tell her but she screamed at her "Why should I tell you?" Tanveer ran from the kitchen and Zoya followed her all the way Babu ji's room. When they got there Gafoor was wiping his face with a towel and Tanveer said, "Babu ji look, Jiji is nagging me. It's one question again and again that when will the boy say yes, for marriage." Zoya spoke and said "What, chotti." Zoya ran after Tanveer again but she left the room and when she was about to leave Gafoor stopped her "Bitto" She stopped at the door and felt shy talking about her proposal. Gafoor came toward her and said "With much hope, Bagat ji has taken your photo to Delhi. I was hearing the Azaan today in the masjid and I don't know why but I got a feeling this is the family you are destined to belong to."

A car pulled up at a house, which was huge. Bagat ji got off from the car with his briefcase. In the house there was a kid who was working on his project with his grandpa "Hurry up grandpa, we have no time!" Grandpa spoke to his grandchild "yes, yes sir." He was cutting a piece of paper and the boy was coloring when Bagat ji came in and said "Rashid sahib, good day." Rashid looked up and saw Bagat Ji and said "Bagat ji, welcome." Bagat ji walked towards the table where they were doing the project and said "marine life, is it?" Rashid spoke "My grandson's homework project, what do you think of it." Bagat pinched the boy speak and said "Very nice, the world's best project... but why in the morning?" Rashid spoke "Getting his homework done is my job, we spent yesterday watching the cricket match, so now we suffer." He was in a hurry so he said to his grandson "you paste that submarine. I'll fill in the color, your teacher will never know." Bagat ji chuckled and Rashid started coloring the grandson said "Grand uncle (Bagat Ji). What color is the sky?" Bagat Ji replied "Blue" "Grandpa, what are you doing." Rashid put on his glasses and said "Green...sorry." The grandson got mad and said "Dada ji grow up."

Humeira was in the kitchen getting breakfast ready, she said her Salam to her father-in-law and Bagat ji. Bagat ji up to the dining table and said "God bless, do you see the boss of 10,000 men being bossed over a boy and how he obeys him." Humeria laughed and said, "He is the grandfather after all." Ayaan came down all dressed up in formals and said "Assalam walikum dad, Assalam walkium everyone." "Walikumassalam beta, wish you all the happiness." "Sorry I'm late, I was talking to the lawyers" He took the newspaper and sat on the chair. Aryan loves to read newspaper and Humeria gets annoyed at him for that. She went near him and said "Papa, reading newspapers at the table isn't allowed." Ayaan let out a sigh and said "Papa, only business news, please. "For business, you've got all day." Rashid looked at his grand son his name is Ahsan Ahmed Khan and said "Breakfast time, is family time" He took the newspaper from Ayaans hand and Humeria gave him breakfast, Ayaan looked up at his wife and she was smiling indicating her victory of getting the newspaper away from him. Rashid gave a piece of toast to Ahsan and said, "Here you go beta." He didn't see Asad anywhere so he asked, "Where is Asad, Humeria." "He left early, for a squash game you forgot papa?" Rashid chuckled and said "sorry" Humeria served everyone breakfast and said to Bagat ji "Uncle, If papa had it his way he'd have the whole family around him all day." Rashid said, "Yes of course... one minute! Are you taking off with Ahsan to your mother's for a vacation." Humeria smiled at her father in law and said "Papa, I'll be back soon." "Hmm, let 10 gents leave home you wont know, but when women and kids are gone the whole house sounds empty, Humeria I'm sorry no going to your mother's house this time." Humeria tried to make him agree but he didn't let her, Bagat ji finally spoke and stopped them from talking "For this permanent problem of the world, I got a solution, you get to go to your mothers and the house wont sound empty." Rashid said, "How is that? Bagat Ji spoke and said, "Bring home a junior daughter-in-law." Everyone stopped from eating and his or her face showed happiness "I have found Asad a perfect bride."
