Thanks for the update. I did not bother even watching the episode... Too much SeHan for my liking for starters. Secondly and most importantly, TANVEER HAS SICKENED ME ENOUGH. Atleast in QH 1, the leads had LOADS OF SCREEN SPACE. Especially, Asad. Now, I don't see much of Aahil and even if I do it is too stupid.

Hi Sage,

After seems like ages the forum seems to be in an uproar...rife with all sorts of emotions ranging from the totally devastated to tripping high...

I must adimit, I was pretty devastated last night...Ahil's dialogue seemed like the last nail in Sahil coffin...
Actually now in retrospect it wasn't surprising given all that has happened since the swap till now and the episode before last night was clear enough proof that this was coming...
Still I found it hard to actually sit through that dialogue of Ahil's...I was like...SHUT THE EFF UP YOU MORON...and ended up FF much of the rest of the episode...

Now what gets to me is that, despite everything he is in a very pitiful situation at the risk of losing EVERYTHING including family and property...and not to mention the only person who genuinely loves him unconditionally...This is pretty much the day that Ahil had been trained for his whole life ...and however much we may hate him for his betrayal of even a modicum of trust in Sanam...the guy is still walkiing in the blind and nobody seems to be bothered to make him any wiser...including Sanam...and one of the biggest culprits who contributed to this state of Ahil is busy chucking all the blame on Tanveer...yeah, yeah, granted Tanveer is the worst kind of devil one could ever come across in life... but what Sunehri did with Sanam and Ahil and her contribution towards this breakdown in Sahil is nonetheless being brushed aside and the obvious gloating done by some forum members with regards to Ahil's complete lack of trust in Sanam is laughable...
Just because the cvs chose to give a clean slate to Sunehri does not mean us audience are blind...
And however bad a lover Ahil has been ultimately reduced down to...and however much I admit that I hate him at the moment...at the end of the day Ahil is a human and a very badly conditioned human by his own demigod and the decisions he is making is also based on available evidence to protect his demigod from someone who dared to harm that very person he worships. Since he is given only half a deck to play with we can't expect him to win this one round...

Yes I hate him and I want Sanam to not forgive him and run as far away from him as she can, but Ahil is still as a person way better than Sunehri and he WOULD ask for forgiveness whether the cvs give him a good redemption or not...See unlike Sunehri fans who could never admit to her faults, we Sahil fans have always, always bashed Ahil and even Sanam lately for their actions...so stop the gloating already...because it reflects more on your guys than us ultimately.

SheAish, I seriously couldn't tolerate when people here were comparing Aahil and Rehan, I mean come on! 🥱
I pretty much agree with almost all you have said. We hate Aahil, bash him, criticise him left and right, but we don't HATE HATE him.

Aahil has been in control of two ladies all his life. One controlled him the way SHE wanted to, other controlled him the way he SHOULD be. One controlled him the bad way, other in all good ways,.

Its all about control and being controlled actually. And suddenly, this has all started sounding weird... 😆😆

Prags I had always wished for Aahil to be controlled by Sanam, but not like this😉
I had always though this was a subtle emotional story. Too bad I was hood winked and then there is Aahil roaming aound on screen. How much can one ignore?
Sanam's character was developed to be very judgemental. And she ALWAYS had some specific judgement for people around. She had a certain opinion of Dilshad, Haya- so far so good.
She had a certain opinion of rehan(we all know how someone hated this 😆) Then she had a certain opinion of Aahil and OMG poor Aahil had to really really wade through strong upstream current to win her. But once he won, its almost as if he gave up.
And now nothing Aahil does will sway Sanam's faith in him.
I still believe Sanam would have been able to lovingly convince Aahil that Ammi spells trouble. She would have started to create dents. See that news clipping getting lost is no big deal. She could have sourced that information from anywhere and convinced him that he did not kill. Perhaps proving that blind Ammi pulled the trigger would have been difficult, which could have been tried. Anyhow, that is all a lost cause.
Here I was hoping for some good TLC when she came back from the kidnapping adventure, but I get to see her being pulled in further murk.
I wanna know why the makers hate Sanam so much?

Prags and Minnie, ,...I readily admit that I was flipping mad at him last night...but as prags says, its not because we hate hate him as a person...but because as fans we had invested in Sahil for a long time and their journey was portrayed so beautifully it was like we fell in love with them seeing them fall in love with each other...and then the that swap happened when everything was set right between them in what seemed like in an unbreakable bond...

So we expected Ahil to hold his end of the deal no matter what, and it is the break down of that expectation that is actually fueling our anger towards him...

BUT in retrospect given everything that had happened with the swap and how his trust in Sanam was slowly broken down,...as Minnie says,,... his character is not actually butchered in siding with Tanveer right now given that he is kept in the dark about the reality of the swap...Ahil not being able to indentify his wife from Sunehri even after a week is character butchering to me...his STILL not being able to see the difference when he is dealing with Sanam and Sunehri alternately these days is even more character butchering of AHil...NOW he should be able to see the difference between them (but then Sj's acting when Sunehri acts like Sanam is bad these days and she has even started to look soulfully at Ahil like Sanam but I'm sure THAT is not supposed to be relayed to the audiance right now...unless they want to further put Sunehri in an even worse light)..The abusive streak of Ahil when he brought Sanam back and during the maha episode and making her the servant is character butchering to me...
However this complete lack of trust in Sanam , taking into account Tanveers status in his life and not knowing the reality of the swap, and then the accepting Tanveers story given the evidence, is actually very much IN CHARACTER...

So even though initially I did call this character butchering, I can see that it is not actually, given everything and I kind of feel really sad for Ahil seeing that he is STILL being played around and tricked by everyone around him including Sanam and made to look like a colossal fool.

If they feel anything for Ahil, they SHOULD all atleast tell him about the twin reality and the swap...he has every RIGHT to be told this...
I also feel bad for Sanam because the poor girl still does not know what Sunehri has done with her husband and thus her hurt is magnified as per her there is NO reason even given Tanveer's hold on him, to show this much lack of trust in her by Ahil...WHICH again reminds me of Sunehri and her treachery in still continuing with this charade of not telling Sanam about her time with Ahil...however icky it is, because then I'm sure Sanam would reveal the truth about Sunehri and if not then Sanam should stop playing the victim and just concentrate on her revenge.

it is just assumption that Sanam is a weakling who could not have dodged the knife attack from Tanveer.
It is just an assumption that Sanam could not have in her sure and steady way started Aahil to start thinking like her.
It is just an assumption that Sahil would not have gone for a romantic honeymoon and cam back stronger than ever. In that amorous mood Aahil was, he would have taken away Sanam and they would have come back stronger.
---- any ways just like some people assume Sanam will expect Aahil's remorse, I am assuming the above.
Someone came between them and spoiled their tough won love. But it is important to move on and celebrate coz that someone has gained a remorseless and easy won love.
I hope she and her lover now don't force Aahil down Sanam's throat. Let her decide if she wants back Aahil after what she heard from him yesterday.
Also with regards to Sanam , no one really needs to be sorry for causing her any harm. It is all okay. She is eternal punching bag afterall.
The sweet caring couple will take pity on no good Sanam and try to make Aahil sympathise with Sanam and make him take her back so she can mope and sweep the floors of IM and look after his kids born out of wedlock from Sanam 2
And if Aahil is good enough to divorce and get rid of Sanam 2 then he MUST get a clean slate too like Seher has got. It is fine trample someone and not ask for sorry. And this is the lesson that I learned from this story.
But hey I know it is wrong. But really Aahil must not be asked to repent for anything please.
Strange how lovely Sunehri never wonders how Aahil the romeo is suddenly behaving this bad with Sanam😲 But then I remember, she has so many other things to deal with. This no good sister who cant manage her own home, husband, MIL is such a liability on Sunehri. Everytime Sanam ventures out, she ends up injured.kuch kaam ki nahi hai. I just hope Rehan and Sunehri lock her up in that room and let her out only when they have convinced Aahil to take pity on Sanam.
Then Aahil can may allow her to stay in the outhouse

Your glibness belies the your deepest sympathy for the tortured Sanam...
Poor girl deserves a break.

Hopefully what she heard outside the door makes her decide something for herself.
Something she wanted to do when Nida was about to become her boss.

Why do some couples have it harder than others?
Each character has suffered in their own way and deserve happiness( except Tanveer of course)

But a story is a story, it must keep building up.

I love it that Rehan is stepping up for Sanam, because he has real clout over Tanveer and Aahil. Sanam can't do it by herself.

I agree somewhat that after being physically intimate, a husband becomes a lot more attached to his wife. not to say he will turn against his mum, No. But he won't discard his wife so easily. That emotional and physical bond with love is quite strong. Because Sanam would know him more than his mother does.

But they didn't get the chance to go there. *shrugs*

A lot of things, nuances in each character that have been made 2 dimensional because of lack of screen space. I have lamented so much that too many characters will cause this. So Sunehri has no time for proper guilt trips, Aahil doesn't have time to miss Sanam in his loneliness.

All we get is Tanveer's monologues and scheming.

Hey Sage, great post as always! Today they just killed SAHIL. They made Aahil agree to call the Police on Sanam! He is going to call the Police on Sanam? Once you have done that, there really is nothing else left to do! To me, Aahil is just a useless husband and lover now. He is welcome to that creepy toe Sanam 2. After all, she wants to be a Begum. Sanam NEVER did, and it was all thrust open her. She only married Aahil to repay Begum Sahiba for paying for her Badi Ammi's operation! She was only grateful to Aahil for saving her life. She didn't think of him as someone she would ever end up with.

She doesn't deserve to be treated this way! Once Tanveer's truth comes out, I want her to hold her head up high and walk out of that house! I mean WHY should she have to live there, putting up with some Sauten, when she is not at fault for anything! It is all the fault of others, be it Tanveer, Razia, Seher, Aahil or even Rehan! But Sanam deserves SO much better! I know she fell for Aahil, and became a doormat, but it's time to snap out of it! No man is worth it! Really.

I am waiting for the day that Sanam gets to throw it all in Aahil's face and walk out. THAT is the only way he will value what he has lost. Yes he will be devastated, but he deserves it for being SO damned BLIND! Aahil can spend his life with Sanam 2, thinking about the Sanam he REALLY wants and loves. He can be the next Rashid Ahemed Khan! But unlike Dilshaad, I hope Sanam gets a divorce, so she can start a new life! WHY should she be stuck to this farce!

Agreed Mandy. I too wish Sanam to walk out of that house right away.
The situation has become too toxic for her.
A time out is needed.

As damaged as Aahil is, his reaction is very much expected. We knew he wouldn't choose Sanam over his Ammi. But the sheer unfairness is what irks me.

He didn't even listen to her side. He could have listened and not believed her. That would've been understandable. But he didn't even hear her out!!

He has wronged her thoroughly and frankly she deserves better. A better Aahil if I may say so.

Let him learn his lesson, and come to win her back.

yeah--I am back after watching and why am I not surprised that after the initial furore over the episode people have come back to accepting it as is. I concluded this as even Sagey's post has not garnered it's usual limelight.
Aahil and his Ammi scene was a little overdone it seemed! Aahil wasn't SOOO into mom worship earlier.
And if I remember right he always did hear out Sanam. This running away from marriage has actually hurt him most coupled with her giving him cold shoulders for a week after his fab love confession. I am not very surprised that he is believing the worst of her.
Since he believes she tried to poison his Ammi, I think he is not wrong to want to hand her over to police.
Surprisingly I do not find it as bad as making your wife a servant in her own house. I found that more icky.
I wish rehan had not stopped him. The story woul have had more dramatic effect.
I have now come to accept that QH is not about soulful love connection of 2 individuals, its a high point drama. so the more dramatic the better.
when does Sanm plan to be true to her love like Seher is.
Frankly Seher really deserves all of love and merriment. She is more truthful of the 2 twins. So I do not grudge her her love life.
What was Sanam thinking when she planned to hide and scheme behind Aahil's back. Atleast that guy is honest and not like this scheming plotting trio (Sanam, Seher and Rehan) who hide big boulders under their ar**s.
I am surprised they do not have constipation yet.
P.S: Wanting to hand over Sanam to police(since he believes she has tried to kill his Ammi) is absolutely ok according to me. And I would like to believe that while Aahil might have thought twice before handing his Ammi over to police he would have been as angry with Ammi if he found out she was trying to kill Sanam.
PPS: According to me spousal abuse like humiliating wife in front of family/friends, treatingnher beneath you, making her do back breaking hard household chores are far worse crimes than wanting to hand over a potential criminal to police.
Mandy: I completely identify with your anger for Aahil. But apart from having a potential abusive streak that was always present(which I believe Sanam could have and still can successfully curb to a point of no return if their relation goes back to being like it once was) Aahil according to me is blameless.

Aahil is completely in character. He was upset that his love for Sanam (he even admitted it openly now) has put his mother in danger. She sacrificed for him, so he must repay it by sacrificing his mohabbat.

I promise you Ammi, I will forget her. For you.
That was what Sanam heard outside.

DO you think she will stay put in the house?
It's high time she left, because Aahil is in no state to accept anything she has to say.
Her absence may give him some perpective, with Rehan available for some effective guilttrips.

Aahil is a brat. He always perceived himself as the only one with troubles and no one has it as bad as him. SO when he is wronged, he throws public tantrums and punishes cruelly. He behaved abominably with Sanam, and so disdainfully to Sanam2 as well.

I dont' know which part of Aahil, Sanam2 will fall in love with. Because he was very impersonal with her, used her to hurt Sanam, and spared not a single personal comment on her. She may fall in love with the lifestyle and the money...

I know, its been a rollercoaster of emotions here on the forum!😆 Dhamakedaar...

I had a tough time sleeping after wards, with all the emotions stirred up.. I was literally gaping at the screen at Aahil's dialogues. What the Eff? Rehan was pretty awesome in the epi, you should watch for him. I want to see him take Tanveer down.

Exactly, Sanam didn't trust him with the truth either. I know, we were meant to understand that he didn't want to listen to her. But instead of giving flowers, she should have snuck in a word or two. But she has no idea what to say, because she can't give her sister away!

Maybe Rehan will introduce Sunehri to his mother as his future intended, while Sanam is gone. And Tanveer can fight with her actual Bahu-to-be, and leave Aahil to fight his way back to Sanam. I dunno what the CVs are planning really...

Really?? Sunehri fans think she doesn't have to say she is sorry??
Sorry, not fair... She has her share of blame for the condition SaHil are in presently.
She can't just blame a dead old woman for tricking her. She needs to own up to it too.
Maybe she will explain to Aahil what she did? Face the music so he can go find Sanam and make it up to her??

Sanam won't expose her sister to Aahil, so she or Rehan will have to do that themselves.

Sage, I too feel that Sanam would not tell Ahil about her sister...but Sunehri definetely needs to tell Sanam about how her time with Ahil was spent and how like a theif she ran away with Dilshad at the 11th hour with that duppata hanging from the window...so Sanam fully knows why Ahil's trust in her had weakened so much...But I feel that if she knew the truth she won't be as devastated with this complete lack of trust for her by Ahil, knowing how he worships his Ammi...

If after knowing what happened from Sunehri and still Sanam does not talk to Ahil about the truth THEN Sanam should stop with the playing the victim here and instead should just concentrate on her revenge for Asya and revelaing Tanveer's intentions with regards to Ahil's property...Ahil can't be held responsible for his decisions based on evidence if you still willingly and knowing EVERYTHING keep the truth from him...

Which is why Sunehri's attempts to 'help' Sanam and Ahil seem so cosmetic to me...She is still selfish enough to not tell Sanam everything...for whatever reason...In this regard even Rehan would know how things were between Aher leading up to the wedding night and he had witnessed first hand Ahil's trust in Sanam eroded...so if either of them REALLY want to help Sahil they should just tell Ahil the truth...ITS THAT SIMPLE

Loved the ways the sons were picturized
One hates
One loves

And both to the extreme

This is the reason why Sanam could not confront Ahil even if she had proof against Tanveer

He could have slapped her if she tried to.

Awesome acting by all, SANAM looks devastated, now she should play hard to get, ignore Ahil, snub him, maybe then he will come crawling back, that is if you still are interested
