Confused...and lately that feeling has been growing. Unease, chaos, disbelief, disgust., anger, laughter, cynicism, bitterness...putting aside everything...have to admit that the Saahil situation has become a cliffhanger.
One side of me is happy...elated...that they are back and how!! Finally it feels like a prayer has been answered...the Junoon has been intensified multifold...our bad boy Aahil is back...yay!! And our darling Sanam is raring to go ...promising us loads n loads of Saahil gems in the near future...pain and heart break are obvious now, but still Sahil will be at least in the picture and that feels like a wish granted (how desperate can we get)!!
But for all of us who are eagerly awaiting the new chapter of Saahil story...we might be doomed. Coz there is a big big...huge wall to scale now, a bigger challenge that stands in the way of their union...her mere presence spells trouble, she absolutely terrifies me in the sense that she does not even have to move a finger, just by being there she means Saahil separation.
And no..its so not Tanu. Its the Sanam version nail needs to be trimmed...(plz cvs plz get rid of that gross thing...anyone has the sense to trim a nail so gross...its basic common sense to cut it off...how stupid!!) She spells disaster big time for Saahil now.
Whatever the circs or reason of the wedding...no one can deny that she is wedded to Aahil now (albeit the wedding cannot be legal) and so she has the position of ...THE WIFE. And we all know how honorable our Nawaab is. Whatever he might be...he will so not throw this woman out of his life..nope Aahil will not and cannot do that. He takes his responsibilities very seriously, and so Sanam two cannot be gotten rid of that easy. Plus, she adds a huge guilt factor to the story now. Suddenly in a blink, she is the underdog, the poor victim who everyone feels for. Her situation is such, that most will pity her. Caught in the aftermath of Tanu's plotting and Saahil's love, she seems like an innocent bystander who is paying heavily for no mistake of hers. I bet she wins everybody on her side with two drops of glycerine. Saahil's love till now so pure and strong, now will enter the gray zone of extra marital, and have an immoral touch to it..and the audiences will not see them in the same light as the indian psyche is very clear about marriage and matrimonial vows. For audiences every where a marriage is a bond that just cannot be trifled with or taken lightly. In one swoop, Saahil will be relegated to sinners, their love will seem wrong, their pining for each other a crime...damn Gul!!
And on the practical side, Aditi Gupta is a well know lead, so she wouldn't have stepped in unless she had a meaty role in the bag. So, obviously she will be playing a very important angle now to this story. Forget Tanu...she was or is nothing...she could never stop Saahil and never would have prevented Aahil from marrying her. But now, guess what...Aahil is married...he has a wife . He seems to have totally forgotten her existence in his heart broken state (eventhough in name...try making the audiences understand that this marriage is invalid...might as well convince them that Tanu is a saint). The noble nawaab might have overlooked his new bride, but the very next morning when he gather his wits he will realize that he has a bloody wifey now that he is responsible for. And in all fairness, knowing Aahil, he will not and cannot treat her wrong. So, long and short of it, Aahil is married and he is honorable, Sanam always was very firm on right and wrong...and for now, Sanam 2 is a sympathy winner...He will maker her life hell, she will make his life hell and to top it all...she and now one more nice she will make their life hell...
Seriously guys...err...should we be celebrating or crying buckets??? HELP!!!!!
