IF Suneheri was a MAN? Would we judge her this harshly?

Absolutely agree with you,great post, more than anger, I feel sorry for her and Rehaan, I am super upset and angry with her but still I feel bad for her, She is a heart broken and as you said not acting rationally, I really hope she does not marry with Aahil, it will break everything, her relation with Rehaan, Sanam , it will be a pure disaster, I hope she gets her sense back and more important Sanam comes back, somehow this Nikhaan should not happen.. It will ruin all relationships.. 😕

Why would someone judge a man and woman differently? I don't know about others but I know I wont. I never did. When QH1 happened it was ASAD who I used to bash for his preconceived notion and being a complete MCP. I felt more than Billi Asad was guilty for Zoyas torture by that cat since he was blinded in his faith for completely covered tehzeeb e afta women . He never believed anything against Billi and he did suffer a lot till his last breath. Most of us bashed him left and right all the time and never gave him any privilege for being a man or an eye candy.
Why should it be different for Sunheri? If we have to sympathize her we should have done the same with Billi as well. So far where's the difference? Both are planted by Razia into someone else's house to ruin their happiness.Where Billi came to spy on ASAD and find some stuffs for Razia , sunheri actually replaced another woman who happens to be her lookalike. Sunheris agenda is similar to Billis . She must know that her lookslike have been harmed somehow and kept away from her family while she is living her life and even conning her husband. Sorry but her being heartbroken by Rehan doesn't count. She decided to keep Rehan oblivious to her past and it backfired on her. Now Just because Rehan won't accept her , she can't decide to break another couple so much in love with each other for her greed. If we accept and understand her reasons then we should have done the same with Bilii as well. Billi was rejected by ASAD and became dangerous . Here Sunheri got rejected by Rehan and ruining people's lives. Where's the difference? None of us supported Billi ever or try to see her POV ever? If Sunheri had no one to care for her , we never saw anyone caring for Billi as well. She might have come from a harsh situation as well but none of us were sympathetic to her. EVER. She even had a stone eye and often got mocked by people around her for that . If I remenber correctly no one ever supported her . Sunheri is actually aiding to a kidnapping and conning as well. She is a criminal and there's no bad or good crime in the court of law. Kidnapping and keeping someone captive while playing her entire family is no way better than killing somebody.
So far there's no difference between Billi and
Sunheri . However IF she still grows conscience and helps finding Sanam then ofcourse she will be different from Billi. Billi was unable to get control over her greed and I really hope Sunheri would. Otherwise IMO no amount of redemption would be good for her.
I know she will be forgiven by her lost family and Ofcourse Sanam but I hope she gets the chance to redeem herself only after getting her share of punishment. Sorry but so far I fail to sympathize with a woman like her.

I was wondering why the forum was being so harsh to Suneri when I work up this morning... And I felt really bad for her! Like come on! Yes, she's a women, yes, she is a con-women! So what? Didn't you see her arguing with Razia that she wouldn't do it? Does she even know that these people are related to her? She doesn't know she has her family here! She doesn't know that the lovestruck Ahil is actually her Jeeju! She's just doing her bloody job that was assigned to her and here we see people actually mocking her eating from the trashbin! What's so funny about it? Do you laugh at those orphaned children who actually eat from the streets, when they have no one to give them food? It was so ridiculous reading such stuff earlier!

Mandy, I don't think I have seen many posts from you which I totally disagree with so far...but this time I have a totally different take...

Love is not an emotion only experienced by the good...yes...the biggest criminals and war loads in the world also have love stories of their own...Actually history is abound with many such cases...

Now you agree that what Sunehri is doing is really bad, but you are saying that you understand that its her broken heart that's making her do it and thus you feel for her as well.?????

For me, I DON"T feel anything for her "heartache", because for one thing, I doubt that she has fallen in love in its real pureness, but yes I agree that she has come across a finer emotion in her life for the first time but it has a long way to go for it to be comparable to a pure and deep love that Sahil were shown to have.
Second, even if it was love there is no way in hell that would make me understand and be sympathetic to a person agreeing to ruin somoneone else's life while at the same time risking the very life of someone in the process, just because she herself is scorned in love...
If anything if her heart was good, this would have actually made her more sympathetic and understand others in love and if nothing else would have just left by now even though she might not go out of her way and make things right and bring back Sanam.

Love in its real sense makes us want to change ourselves because thats one of those pure god given emotions that humans experience and thus it does not matter whether we are lucky in love or not or whether our love is reciprocated or not...So for me if Sunehri is really experiencing this kind of love she would have changed for the better, whether Rehan loved her in return or not.

Case in point, lets look at Ahil and his journey in love...his love made him totally change himself and become a better person and that journey started from the beginning even when he had no hopes of Sanam loving him ever...Its actually his change in behavior which made Sanam love him and here Sunehri is expecting Rehan to love her despite her going ahead with lying and thieving the very reason that he threw her out...

Now even if for arguments sake I agree that Sunehri does deeply love Rehan, still my heart is not big enough to understand her position and feel for her heartache when she is willingly aiding in kidnapping/risking someone's life and ruining the lives of a couple so apparently and deeply in love...

As for would I judge less harshly if this was a guy,,,,,I feel that humans in general judge women less harshly when it comes to criminal behavior where else a guy would be judged more harshly for crimes...
If the question is about love, even then I would say that we would judge women less harshly because love and such finer emotions are more associated with women and we believe they understand such emotions better than men.
If the question is about promiscuity, then yes I do agree that we would judge a woman more harshly.

However here in the forum most of the posts and harsh judgements are about her criminal behavior more than anything else and how far, or rather how LOW she is willing to go for money.

Her actions makes me think of the teenager who never had a girl- friend going and shooting bunch of girls for imaginary slight.

Sure,Rehan ditching her is a trigger for her to probably not listen to her conscious and act her thief with a golden heart self.

Man or woman identity theft and aiding and abetting abduction&possible murder are crimes.
