I just want to ask a question of all of my fellow QH forum members? If Seher was a man, who was conning someone for money, would we judge her this harshly?
She is a women. I know women are supposed to have a higher sense of right and wrong, and we expect more from women etc etc? But the truth is, that Seher or Suneheri is a trained con artist? Yes she said to Razia that even they have "Rules", and yes they do? But in this case, there is a SECOND dynamic here at play? Not just her need or her greed for money? That second dynamic is her feelings for Rehan! THAT is her driving force, not the money!
IF this was just about money...she would have said YES for the marriage, as soon as Razia promised her another 50 lakh fee hike? She is asking for 2 Cr now, coz since she decided to do the job, might as well get the best deal. But the REASON she agreed was not the money, it was the heartbreak!
See, a person in love, is NOT rational! Not just "Good" people and "Worthy and righteous" people fall in love! BAD people fall in love too. Bad girls fall in love, just like Bad boys do! When a bad boy is in love, he is "Hot" and we just love to love him. When a bad GIRL falls in love, she is a "Vamp" and we just love to hate her? We dont care she is in love, we dont care her heart is broken? How dare that vamp mess with our hero and heroine?
I LOVE SAHIL! They are QH for me. But I still can see two sides to every story! Maybe coz I come from a family with a lot of lawyers? Either way, what I mean is that Suneheri in her heart was still holding out hope of a reconciliation with Rehan. Especially now, when she sees him every day. Just like Aahil used to watch Sanam from afar and sighing, when he fell in love with her, Suneheri is looking at the man SHE loves and doing the same!
Trust me, I HATE her for what she is doing. But I also understand why she is doing it, and it is not as simple as wanting money, or greed for money. She is NOT Tanveer, who wanted the status of being Mrs Asad Ahemed Khan, and wanted money so married the Nawab. Suneheri wants money coz she thinks that is the ONLY thing that will secure her life! For ONCE she thought of a life where love and relationships mattered more than money and she had a rude awakening. Like she once thought to herself when she was fantasizing about Rehan.
"Rehan acha ladaka hain, aur tuj jaise ladaki ko acha ladaka mil nahin saktha"
Today when she saw Rehan with that Dhaba bill, she thought for a moment, that maybe he still thinks of her, and still has feelings for her? All full of hope, she questions him about it? But he refutes her theory and tells her that he only wants to "Forget and throw away" all memories associated with her! She is sad, and her eyes fill with tears. She says "Yes Rehan, forgetting such people is the right way. You should not think of them even if they are dying". She goes from there, before she hears Rehan admit that despite wishing to forget her, he cant!
The ONLY thing that can stop Suneheri from her self destruction is finding out that Rehan still loves her! Self destruction is a key factor in a broken heart. People who feel rejected in love sometimes even become suicidal? So in light of that, what Suneheri is doing is only to be expected.
Trust me, I dont like what she is doing, and I dont want Sanam and Aahil to suffer. But unlike RAZIA, I know that Sanam and Aahil are made for each other, and this Suneheri chapter cant break them up! Nothing can. They can have set backs, but their love is the REAL DEAL. The only person that Sunheri is going to hurt in the end is herself, and she will lose Rehan FOR GOOD, this time, if she goes ahead with this Nikah with Aahil.
Even while she said "Qubool Hai" to her marrying Aahil again, her eyes are only saying "Qubool Hai" to loving Rehan! Just like her Father Asad, she was someone who didn't believe in love, but now that she has fallen, she has fallen hard, just like he did. Lets spare a BIT of sympathy for a bad girl in love, just like we would for a bad boy!
