I've always thought that's how it was going to pan out i.e. she just made him think she was in jail, when she was actually away enjoying herself, just so she can keep him on this guilt trip and extremely short emotional leash
Now that many of you are having this doubt, I too feel, this could be the twist. But its a bit undigestible to beleive that Ahil can be fooled for so many years, especially when he went to meet her in the jail.
Obviously, he would know where the Bhopal Jail is located.
Either Billi has all the jail authorities dancing to her tunes, which is way too absurd. But, we have seen a lot of illogic, so it wont come as a surprise.
