I read all the replies though. All thought it was gradually, like me.

Even I felt he REALISED them after graveyard scene, when he found he would lose her, or is at the brink of losing her, he realised she is the one, which I have been denying, hiding behind that "mask"

Love is a an unconscious feeling that happens on it own and i dont think that even Aahil knows of its onset period.

So your answer to when - gradually starting from the first time they met.
Realization - most likely the graveyard incident (fear of loosing her)

the day he laid his eyes on her he knew she was the one - This saying to me is very fitting for Aahil.

At highlighted. Absolutely. There was something there from that very first confrontation. Then when she burned his car... oh it got more real then.

"Itena Ghoroor? I LIKE it"! That said it all. That was the start. Then that very first "Junoon". He was done. It was done. The falling was complete. The realization took a lot longer. But from graveyard, he started to give credence to whatever feeling he had suppressed all that time. Suddenly it all felt so real, and so close. He was not able to deny it anymore.

From that day onward, he was openly gazing at her, totally lost in her. He always had a grudging respect for her, an admiration. But after the graveyard, it was totally obvious and he was not fighting his feelings anymore. Until he thought that Rehan loved her and visa versa, and he started to suffer with it, and also with Sanam's apparent unawareness of his feelings.

But from the moment he met her, it was already too late! 😉
