Aahil just threw out the only person who cares about him, unselfishly - Rehan

Rehan was the only person who knew Tanveer's plan. He was the only one likely to alert Aahil. But we will never really know.

Up until yesterday, Aahil included, painted Sanam as a servant as well. So the fact Aahil has real feelings for Sanam, was news to Rehan as of yesterday. Rehan backed down, accordingly. He also respected that they were married and he admitted his faults to Aahil. The fact that Aahil said Rehan is like a brother and has constantly treated him like a servant was mean. No relationship should cost you your friend or brother. Aahil should have worked it out.

I know people thought Rehan was crossing a line, with the bedroom etc. But prior to Aahil calling Sanam his real wife, Rehan and Sanam were friends and they were always together and shared a comfort level. Who walks in the bedroom, when the door is open is for Aahil's mindset - not a big deal.

Rehan sees Sanam, again looking upset. She says I cannot find my locket, he helps her look. What should Rehan have done, let her fall... 😕

I do think it was good for Rehan to leave, he needs the space. I wish Aahil had been mature about it. I hope it was not the last we see of Rehan, he was engaging. I liked him and Aahil's dilemma. It never turned into the baseless circus going on at Faiz and Haya's place.

True, Rehan was his one true friend. Who loyally stayed by his side through all his shenanigans.

But you know, there is a soft side to this. He didn't throw Rehan out. He gave him work to do out of town. he didn't cast him out, we saw his reluctance and guilt at Rehan's dejection.
He even got his mother to do it for him, as she would put it more gently to Rehan. If he did it himself it would've looked like he was giving Rehan the boot.

The situation had become too ugly. He wants to have a relationship with Sanam, so he is taking a stand. I don't think things are acrimonious between them, they are just very hurt that one has to win and the other lose. If he only knew Aahil had stepped aside when he confessed his love for Sanam.

They are both very lovable characters, Rehan more sweet than Aahil. But Aahil is proving himself not as bad as he appears. I think once things are well between Aahil and Sanam, there won't be that destructive jealousy anymore...

thanks for the nice post SF.
am happy to do with your gifs for now and not motivated enough to see Hasina Bhee's grand kids in pain.😆
Just watched the part of Razia's warning to Tanveer. Is she the oracle or what?

Did Rehan go where Ahil sent him or some place of his choosing?

Don't watch the perverted old lady !!!🤢
Razia is just waiting for the right opportunity methinks... Plus the scene reminded me of the Tanveer-Razia scene of before, where Asad and Zoya were still arguing but Razia could see the love brewing...

Rehan was planning to leave I think. But he decides to do this one last project for Aahil before he leaves them for good... Scope for return..😉

Yes, Razia always had the eye to pick up the vibes. She was the one who spotted AsYa's real love in fake engagement.
Thanks for the warning on Faiz's insufferable Phoopi. It really pisses me off when they show old people peeping into newly weds' rooms or showing too much eagerness to know whether they are sleeping together or not. It's vulgar. They can bring about the same issue with lot more sensitivity, especially when someone like Haya's character is involved. But Cvs want to play to the galleries periodically & we get to watch some B-grade Bollywood.
I'm sure Rehan will be back, unless Shezada did what Rishabh&vikrant did😆
Probably it's the end of Rehan as we know him.I hope he stops crying.

That's taking it too far. I have lots of sympathy for Rehaan but he, in his own words, has said that he sometimes tolerates Aahil for Begum Sahiba's sake. To call him the "one and only person who cares about him, unselfishly" is somewhat a stretch.

Also, an unselfish well-wisher would perhaps drop, even anonymously, some hint to the well-wishee about impending doom if he has knowledge of it. Just because he hates his mother's manipulations and machinations and does not want to be a part of her schemes, does not mean that it's okay for him to be a bystander and let the destruction of the Ibrahim family happen.

Rehaan is a good guy caught between his conscience and his loyalty. Perhaps being away from Bhopal will also bring forth a latent courage to reveal some truths when Tanveer starts wreaking havoc in everyone's lives.

@sageflower: Lovely post, as always. The Ashq Na Ho sequence was beautiful. 4 lions always pick the most fantastic song accompaniments.

Maybe he didn't wish his mother ill too. But i see the loyalty issue between Rehan and Aahil. He probably doesn't want his mother to be humiliated for having a son out of wedlock. Not a in-cahoots sort of thing, but a protection from humiliation sort of thing. Remember two busy body aunties who questioned Sanam not being from a "Khandaani" family. Imagine what they'll do and say if they find out the great Begum of Bhopal has an illegitimate son. Petty, i know but its reason enough for Rehan to be quiet.

Rehaan is a good guy caught between his conscience and his loyalty.Love this line... Very apt.

They do choose the best songs don't they? 😳
Thanks for reading!
