but nowadays i dnt beleive in huge fan following...and if an actor had huge fan following,i dnt think it will work...if it works then RR would have atleast minimum numbers to maintain its stabilty...if a story shld survive,the main element is trp audeince...fans can only contribute a little to it

yes if any one watches sahil,they can understand that intensity...without watching how can they compare...even iwas a die hard asya fan but now my vote goes to sahil...

It's only really been two months since we've seen SaHil, properly. Not to mention it's only been a one-sided love story and yet SaHil have managed to establish a fanbase. It will only grow from this point. :)

thanks for the reply..i dont know how many comparisons ,tests this couple go through...if they get trp some group comes telling this only not enough..other season got so much..
if any fans come in online appreciating them then people are telling this couple cant get that fan base..
in qh2 apart from marriage track saahil did not have one specific track for them..but their fav couples got every track on them only..even in all this sahil managed to get some solid fan base..it is small or big that is not important.. we are here to enjoy our fav couple..not for analyzing how much popular they are..

I like QH season 2, but honestly don't have the time to make posts on the forum, Sahil is what interests me in the show primarily and days when they are not there, I don't watch the episode.

I love Rahat and Haya when they started off but they kind of rushed the story and then brought in Faiz who i just find plain boring, I skip all their scenes nowadays.

I am in advertising so let me just clear some things about TRP, while the sample population of people who have meters might be smaller than we like, these people are selected with much research done to represent the general population. It is not like they select a random sample of people ad say lets measure TRP based on them, sampling is done with scientific methodology representing the population. If it was so flawed, businesses wont spend millions of rupees on advertising and buying ad spots. These people have measurements in place to maximise what advantages these ad spots give them. Also the reason why only Indian viewers count for TRPs is that these companies are advertising to the Indian population, running ads for the Indian population, it makes no difference to them whether a person in the UK or US watch these ads, because these ad spots are not targeted to them. Also maximum revenue TV channels get is from advertising not subscription and that is exactly why TRPs matter. Online popularity is good for word of mouth publicity but their target audience in terms of revenue is the Indian audience.

I liked qh1 also, but being biased i'll never admit that I actually love SaHil more than AsYa(i just said😆 ).. AsYa were 1st couple whom i was crazy for, but sum people ruined them 😡 anyways coming back to Sahil, RaHaFa are damn boring man! So is tanu n razu! Thanks God no Rehan these days! Gul is surely sum1 made for building trps through love stories! But I guess her being busy to new show is affecting qh in all aspects! The serial contains everything except SaHil! Sumbody needs to tell her, other than story, which has many ques unanswered, the only jackpot is SaHil.. She is just throwing it the way it comes sumtimes the creativity is nt created but copy pasted! I dont like it this way only! Using sahil n chem b/w them will do wonders! She is not paying any attention to SaHil, only story is not gonna work! Gul, wake up!!!!!!!

Okay I just skimmed through this post.

And regarding TAM and the government. The government has been trying to get another system in place. Starting from the last government who recommended the industry create another alternative. And in fact TAM right now is in violation of rules made by the Ministry of the last government. In two matters: regarding the amount of meters and also in the matter of conflicting stakes.

The reason TAM is still going on is because of two things. The advertisers and industry don't want a blackout, and would rather TAM allowed to go on till the new system come, which they are hoping to come within a year. In fact it should've happened already, but being India and all...And also because of the elections which gave a bit of breathing room to TAM.

Whether or not things and progress actually happen is another question.
