query about QH and Gul Khan shows - Page 4

Left QH after KSG was replaced , Now I am liking the show again bcos of sanam and Aahil , Haya and rahat seems Ok to me .

I am an active member on the forum and came after qh2 started so cannot say anything about the forum during qh1

@ red - which new shows are you talking about?like jodha akbar comes to my mind and sure its ratings are not the best these days but overall it has clicked and will probably go on just fine for a couple of years at least.

@blue- its not as if those people who have people meters attached to their tv sets never change their opinions...one week they might like one show and then may be in the next 2-3 weeks they might gradually shift to another.

The hathway article does not say much about remote areas...I am not denying that the company provides its services in remote areas too but zee's viewership got affected because of people in non-remote areas who have people meters attached to their sets and who now get zee on ala carte basis.

Thats why i am saying if Union minister for info & broadcasting knows so much about the system.. Why can't he ban the system? Or why he can't introduce a new system? The less we say about govt. the better...
About the reach, i said before the formation changed than what we saw before.. its come mostly In TVM n TVTs.. i am not getting the article but there's indeed reach in TVM system... its upto you to believe or not when whole industry runs through this system. as i said before Statistics are not always accurate but this type of population sampling is much used even if the number is 9000 peoplemeter. though i don think its only 9000 otherwise they wouldnt release date in TVM n channels would focus only those 9000 people to make their shows hit & get expected ratings.. By new show i did not mean only JA.. any new show has the chance to perform... you can see last week Jamai Raja opened with 5.5 TVM biggest opening of 2014 despite in such a competitive slot like Mahabharat Tarak Mehta Ka Olta chasma already having great ratings. that means even if they have fixed loyal viewers any shows has chance to perform any slot but Content have to be good & clickable... There was article recently how Kumkum Bhagya TRP increased 127% last week which caused 27% viewership fall of Diya Bati.. the data size wider than 9000 ... as i said data comes from all over the country & Marathi speaking market Bengali Tamil Rajshtani & other regional GEC systems.. they have infos how hindi shows are performing on those areas...
About Hathway i am not saying about remote areas.. Hathway does not have only 9000 clients... so how that affected zees rating marginaly. if people meter was 9000 they would not say if zee is available via hathway or any other platforms coz this wouldnt affect rating...
About Colors shows rating, thats where doubt about the system comes... Previously their shows BV Uttaran had great trp.. Comedy night get great rating none says how faulty the system.. something definitely wrong with their shows.. Even sasural simar got 5.7 tvm last week.. means their shows have everything to perform.. i said this coz i showed examples of Zee & SP shows & you might think i am avoiding colors to prove... if non fiction can perform, why fiction can't? if SPs fiction can perform why can't non fiction? this really means to me that one channel need to have a great content & story that can click with mass to get rating... Also Colors & SP shows get UK rating then why they are dependent on TAM? thats becoz their advirtisting revenue depends on TAM data not of overseas... Ad fees depends on the reach of a show & how popular it is among different age group & region... Even if population sampling is not 100% accurate but it is much used statistical tool to measure different kinds of data...

1. India forums means absolutely zero to measure audience interest to QH or any show. Biggest example can be Rangrasiya Madhubala or few other shows pasts presents & futures. Not just IF any other online platform like Twitter facebook popularity means nothing coz they do not add to trp anyway. 2. frankly RaHa story started better than SaHil imo.. i was a fan but Rahat Haya showed no improvement & track is not good... thats why disliking & Faiz made it even worse to watch
3. Ya heard about her new show.. cant watch coz of timing :( but Gul is awesome to make great love story & i wish her all the best. by reading title & story, i hope she does not try to remake classic pak shows like Humsafar & Zindagi Gulzar hai only to make a joke

Yeah i agree IF is not the only measure to judge the popularity and why wouldn't people love QH 2 it's going great and Sahil are just MINDBLOWING..i love them

Promos for Gul's new show have'nt been out so lets see how they are but since it is a love story by Gul i would want to check out

I am a Pakistani and i don't know why Humsafar got so popular ..that show sucks i mean the lead guy Fawad is the only saving grace of that show..the girl can't act and the concept was so overly used and pathetic

U know i think they should give us Sahil scenes everyday then it would be okay for us If they show a bit of other stuff as well..Overdose of Haya Rahat Faiz bores me too

It would be unfair to compare both ..both are good but according to my view Sahil share a better chemistry ..they are hotter and are way more intense as compared to AsYa..although i love AsYa but my vote would be for Sahil

^ The chemistry between Fawad-Mahira is what worked for Humsafar. Guls new show is titled Humsafar. I really loved Humsafar <3

OFCOURSE Sahil are way better than RaHa ..I just like them as a supporting cast ..No one can beat Sahil they are rocking

Jennifer isnt opposite Harshad she was approached but things didn't work out so she isnt doing the show..there is a new girl opposite him but Gul's casting can never go wrong so i have my hopes high

Yeah The show will be popular for sure cuz HC 's fan following is huge and Gul's love stories attract viewers like magnet😆 and as i said before Gul's casting can never go wrong so i am sure the girl would be good
