Hello 😳
My name is Shruthi. Well. This is the first time i am writing any stories here. Well actually i was a part of other forum so far and i wanted to joined Indian forum for a while. Have heard a lot about stories anf writers talents here. So yup even i came here to try my luck.
This story is of asad ahmed khan and zoya farooqui.
And its divided in 5chapters. 😳
I hope to keep you all interested with my work.

CHAPTER 1

The night is passing by in silent and as usual silence has started to eat him up. He is driving, moving to a place where the memories of his father couldn't disturb him anymore. He tries to focus on road ahead of him, but his foolish mind refuse to leave the entire incidence that happened to destroy him in all ways. He take the cigarette pack out of his front sack from his jacket, and pulling one cigarette out he places it over his lips, then he throws the pack on dashboard and pats on his jacket trying finding his lighter. Once he feels it in his jeans he pulls it too and lit the cigarette taking a puff of it. he breathes heavily trying to calm down his emotions. He felt exhausted due to driving for hours and also he is drain because of weather.
"Damn why doesn't it rain when we want it to rain?" he cursed the sky angrily looking out of his window. The pattern of him drawing circle with smoke continues a longer and finally when he finished with that he picks up another one. He surely will have a bad throat by the end of the day. He knew it still didn't bother to help himself. Each time his father's face appeared before his eyes he died hundred deaths. He wanted to hate him but his mother didn't allow him to do so. She is a very good woman; she loved her husband a lot. May be that's why even after Rashid's betrayal she didn't allow asad to curse him or confront him or even hate him. whenever his name fall from her lips it always included prayer for his well being , never did she complained nor did she ever demanded anything from Rashid. Asad really feels proud that he is dilshad's son but at the same time he feels ashamed to call himself rashid's son. Today even Rashid had died still he couldn't allow himself to be free from such intense detest emotions. He was caged with emotions that were forbidden to spill.
Today is rashid's death anniversary. He didn't wish to be part of anything that is related to Mr. Rashid khan. Nor did he want to be a family with Rashid's other wife children. So he left early morning from there, he left the place where he was tortured to death; he was taunted to deaf and was cursed by his step mother to tears. He just left that place to find some peace in life.
Playing the music loud he managed to cut off the sound between his inner conscience and his mind. This debate is worst to bear if you ask me. He was physically here but mentally he was lost somewhere. Somewhere in dark from where he never wished to return.
He shakes his head from side to side before, taking another puff from his toxic candy. His thoughts let him to other world making him forget everything around him. Suddenly he felt a sharp bump in his car and his head almost hit the metal roof up above his head, a loud moan escaped from his lips and with that the little piece of burning cigarette fell down near his feet, making him jump a little which led to an accident.
Its been two hours since he had hit this huge rock to his left. Asad looks up to the sky blaming god for putting him in such a horrible situation.
He looks at his right and find a deep depression mountain, when the land is nowhere to be seen if anyone's try the depth with expectation to hit its base.
"shukriya, for bringing me here in first place." He again curses the lord in anger bringing his bleeding hand to his pocket and pulling out another fresh pack of cigarette out, he picks out a stick and places in between his lips. The stinging sensation on his injured hand is making him more and more mad on the situation. It already quarter to 4 very soon the morning will begin. He hit the petite stone near his feet and makes him fly high in the sky and then deep in depression of mountain.
Asad keeps on trying his little luck to attract any car for lift or help but he fails miserably. Tired of everything going in and out, he finally drops the idea of seeking further anything from anyone and like a grumpy child he leans his back on his broken car and takes puff after puff. As soon as he tries to light his cigarette once more, he feels a sudden push from behind on his elbow and the jerk on his hand is so hard that he drops his lighter on floor, accompanying his stick. He however manages to balance himself despite of almost falling on floor. His features quickly hardens and his eyes turn pure black, he is so mad that whatever dashed him, he will eat it up alive. With a strong intention to hit whatever is on his way he turns to see behind him, all he saw was red. A beautiful heavy worked bridal duppata stuck on his car door fly with air and spreads on his face, making him shock and surprise at the same time. asad opens his mouth to speak something but something was there in that piece of cloth that made him forget everything , everything including his emotions for once.
He raised a hand to remove the duppata off his face; he slowly starts to peel it off. He smiles on his own as he did so. He takes the cloth in his hand and feels suddenly so special about it. With each breath he takes he happens to fall in trance with the toxic and addictive scent of its owner wrapt in the cloth. Just when his mind kicks him to take control of himself, his eyes fall on the beautiful girl standing at few feet far from him. Her face is facing to the depth of the mountain while her right leg is front of her left one. Her shoulder moves ups and down and he could see her body shaking vibrantly. The little sniffs that are echoed in the air also didn't go miss by him. He himself doesn't know how, but suddenly his whole body started to get on high alert as if something seriously wrong is going to happen now. His heart raced towards the girl and within second he felt himself panting out of breathe in fear. He stared at her back for few seconds with puzzled expression on his face, with so many questions, fear and worries dripping eyes. Just when he decides to walk to her, he hears a stone rolling from beneath her feet and it falls in the pit of darkness of the mountain. This was the time when his mind went numb, and all his thinking and understanding ran out the window he felt panic building inside him. He just can't let her do this? She can't do that? He chanted on his lips and made a mad run to her direction. Asad ran like a crazy and just on time when she was about to jump from the peak he holds her elbow and turn her to other side of the mountain. She gasped in showing with his sudden movement. Her duppata is still flying from his clutches in the air like some flag of love hosting between the two. His heavy breathe is echoed in the peak and so is her, he shuts his eye after taking a good image of her being safe and sound in front of his eyes. Her face is still hidden behind her thick locks, he still hasn't seen her face properly and yet his heart is cherishing the fact like there is some celebration today. She is safe. So what? He tried to reason behind getting his palm together on his face. He groans in frustration as he feels so more confused with himself than he already is. His eyes reflexes with her movement as she brings her back of the hand and pushes her black lock away from her face. The wind plays the major role in her crash and the locks are back on her face kissing her everywhere there. He quietly watches her then bringing her other hand back to her face and wiping her tears while sniffing.
She was crying. And that was making him feel bad. Why was he feeling bad for her he didn't know? But all he knows that he cried with her that day.
What is happening to me?" he asked with anger with pain and there was something more to it...a nameless emotion.

CHAPTER 2

Its been a realy death silence these two are sharing in this cold dying night. Asad thought so many times to just go and ask her the reason or just go and talk to her but god knows why? His feet was glued to the floor. He simply stared her like some creep learning her from a distance. Soon he realized she had stopped sniffing and now she had her back to him, walking to the opposite direction.
"hey you! wait." He called her from behind. asad made a fast quick space as if his life is dependent on his feet and soon he stood beside her.
"where are you going now?" he simply asked with a hint of anger in his voice. The girl looked at him between her heavy locks and then allowed her eyes to fall back to her feet. This was the first time after their met asad could clearly see her eyes, although behind the black. He felt his lips twitch a little and his stomach churn like carrying butterflies in them. He panicked as she took two steps away more even after him stopping her.
"hey wait. Please." He begged. This was something he never did anytime in his life but what made him plead, he failed to understand it.
She stopped again but this time she maintained her eyes stick to the ground. Asad felt bliss at this tiny gesture and he encouraged himself to talk a little more with her. He didn't feel like letting her go or asking her anything. He just wanted her presence beside him for the minute. May be this dark was getting better of him.
"uh, I just wanted to ask.-." he was about to say something but another voice cuts him in between.
He looked at her with a concern when she speaks again, "please don't ask me why I did that." Her voice was cracking. Asad felt like he has been stabbed in his heart with the pain she was carrying with her request.
He half smiled at her and shakes his head in no, " I was not going to ask you that. I just wanted to know if you could help me finding some mechanic for my car. " he said with a sweet soft tone,pointing at the car behind him. the girl turned her eyes towards his finger and then his car, she has a strange denial look in her eyes as she met his hypnotic brown orbs. "it broke." He pouted cutely shrugging his shoulder to add it obvious. "please." He quickly adds before she could say anything. The girl brows knots when her eyes lay on his face, he made a puppy face. She thought for a second then sighing she turned to walk taking small step at a time. asad felt sad seeing her leaving him even after his so many attempts to stop her. He is about to sigh in defeat when she stops and looks behind her, "2km per ek mechanic hai" (after 2km there is one mechanic.) saying this she continues her walk.
Asad takes it as his signal and quickly stands besides her matching her speed on street.
"kitni khamosh jagah hai hai." He tries to take any random topic to speak (how quiet is this place)
"you know this things can give goose bumps to anyone." He says shaking his head left and right, then resting her eyes on her beautiful face with hope.
"umh, you my name is asad khan." He introduces himself , offering her hand to shake. But she doesn't take it and poor guy locks his palm shut and rests to the side of his thigh.
With every question he asked she turns her face to him and then again gets it back on street. This action repeated many time and finally asad could no longer take her silence and was forced to ask her something , something so random and so out of situation that left him embarrassed , "you could atleast tell me what time is it making? Please." He said out of frustration and then realised what he said , his cheeks turned pink and he let his chin rubs his chest. The girl eyes grew with his face expression and a small giggle escaped her rosy lips. yeah victory! He thought. Asad stared happily at her while she walks a little slower than before. "zoya." She said out of no where making asad raise a brow at her in confusion.
"my name is zoya." She said giving him a smile that didn't reach her eyes.
"zoya." He took his name as if learning how to spell it perfectly. "nice name." he complemented her while she nods in acceptance.
"are you from here?" he asks quickly before letting the comfort zoya collapse.
"no. I am from Delhi." She says with her almost dry voice. he becomes conscious of her being thirsty.
"zoya, I am from Bhopal."he says with a small smile and she looks at him in disapproval.
His smile widens seeing that, "I know you didn't ask, but I wanted to share with you." he simply said gaining one more look from her this time it was shock and confusion together.
Each time she looked at him he felt something flying inside his stomach, he felt light and he shivered with emotion.
More time passed and still they were walking, zoya after few more minutes had stopped giving him any reaction. He played with what ever was there in his hand , he tossed it up down and then opened it, it was beautiful just like its owner. He smiled.
Like a thunder strinking the sky he suddenly became conscious of her duppata still in his hand. He raised his hand offering her to pick the cloth. Zoya madly looked at the piece and weared it back on her.
"its beautiful." He complemented with a smile.
"its my mother's"she quietly answered without meeting his eyes.
Then there was again pin drop silence for a long time, till she breaks it, "there on the corner." Asad looked at her with scrunch brow as she points at the shop in the end. Soon he releases the knot taking in what she was referring to. Mechanic shop!
"oh. Thanks." He says sadly But refuses to take any step in the way of the shop.
Zoya stands there for a while but seeing him freeze she sighs and takes a step away from him.
"zz...zoya." He stammers while calling her, " give me your number." He says with concerned.
Zoya looks at him with suspicion, " why?" she asks.
"I want to know if you reach home safely and didn't try to pull any such stunts like you did before."he says firmly, taking a mini round and bloking her way.
"why do you want that?" she asked very much mad and confused at him.
"because I cant live with the guilt and worry with the thought that you made it to your home or no."he said honestly looking at zoya with so much of concerned in his eyes.
She wanted to refuse him, but her heart stopped her, and her mind read the number for her. Asad noted it down mentally and on the dead phone's key pad as well as she dictated it , "take care. Please." He again made a polite request to her and she nods her head saying a quick Allah Hafiz to him.
