They are generally paid per day of shoot.

So money will be proportional to the number of hours of work put in.

i think she will be getting and its common thing nowadays that they shld be payed double when they do double roles

Not sure about that.

Usually actors agree to a role, or in the case of soaps, to the story, knowing that with soaps the story can always change based on TRPs or other factors.

They allot bulk dates to Production House or channel, and it is up to the PH or the channel to make sure those dates are utilized, whether it is for night shooting, or out-of-town shooting, or regular studio work, etc.

Some actors work on a number-of-days shot basis, eg. KSG.

Other do a combination, i.e., allot the PH a month, say, August, and then get paid for the number of days they work in August.

That way, they are free to take other assignments inbetween, and give bulk dates to some other PH the next month onwards.

Then there are those who work on a set fee for a set number of days, extra to be re-negotiated.

Whether SJ shoots doing both roles everyday for a week or she just shoots as S for that week, she will get paid the same.

There are very rare cases that do hourly payments.

Usually, everyone knows that with shooting, schedules, lighting, cameras, sound, sets, actors, etc. ,all can take time and no one would fix on particular hours of work for that reason.

Ultimately, it all depends on the individual and their contract.

Considering SJ is already under contract and her part probably required her to act according to script for so many months or days, I doubt she would get paid twice.
