Yup, KVB really *is* Aahil. He breathed life into the character.
Nice post.

Hugs I've seen you in many similar forums... so welcome back 🤗

I only watch a show on/off for firSt 2 months... then addicted from the 2nd to 5th/6th month... Ie the phase of meeting/nok jhok/hate & then falling in love... There is not a single I have watched beyond that phase 😆

I liked AsYa, their characterisation, their portrayal... esp KSG was awesome..Surbhi is a natural...her character used to get butchered every do often... but stopped after TV stabs herself during Zoya mehendi I think...couldn't tolerate her becoming the heroine 🤢

Sn 2... wasn't really interested till I saw precap of Sanam slapping him at her dhaba & the way he pulls her to him... My first thought ... Roaring chemistry... With Gul at the helm it's going to be an intense ride... I was hooked 😛 😆

I watched KZK fr KVB & all prem mukti scenes... i know what an ace actor he is

So With two brilliant a actors in the lead... sharing sizzling chemistry...and a good enough bg story... i became a 'fan' again.

Didn't think I'd say this but AG is looking stunning this season... and a treat to watch *fingers crossed* ( I only watch her sscenes with SaAhi though) 😆 ...

Rehaan's improvement in the acting dept has made the few epis since the wedding worthwhile... otherwise his non acting was becoming unbearable.

I like Latif & the kid... I did like Haya story to a point... now dnt want to watch the mess Gul is going to make with these triangles

My fav SaAhil scenes are the one where she burns his car ... & the pool one... since their nikaah I'm enjoying their showdowns.

Looks like I've tried my hand at writing a novel too 😛

I watched QH 1. I purposely tried not to get as emotionally involved in it as I did with IPK. But I did like the ASYA story and their chemistry. I also liked Vikrant as Ayaan, and Archana as Nikhat. KSG was my favourite Asad, but Raquesh V did a good job too. Zoya and Asad had some great scenes, especially in the KSG time. Bolna Halke Halke was a favourite, and so were the airport engagement and many scenes during their first wedding prep. Things went south after ZOYAAN and I stopped watching for nearly 3 months. Then curiosity got the better of me and I caught up.

Then Raquesh entered and a few months later the leap happened. I was not sure what I was going to do? But decided to give it a go. I am VERY please with my decision. Right from get go, I could see a few IPK echoes in this story. I loved the Dhaba confrontations and the burning scenes. Those were stupendous. But what got me most was Junoon! That BG was made in heaven just like Rabba Ve. It had it all, and it had me!

KVB and SJ... They have amazing chemistry. Especially since Aahil fell in love with Sanam, it has been amazing. The way he looks at her, and the energy surrounding them when they are together is superb. It's quite addictive to watch. Even during Dawat E Eid, they managed to show the chemistry between them. The cooking scene was so romantic. I didn't even expect that! So I have nothing but praise for the pairing of SJ and KVB.

I am relatively new to Indian TV. IPK being my first Indian TV show. So I didn't know any of KVB's other work. But having seen him as Aahil, he has made me his Deewani for sure! :) I also have to add that AG as Begum Sahiba has exceeded my expectations. I don't hate her the way I used to. I guess playing a mature role suits her. She has shown great control in her performance. It's like she has taken a quantum leap. I am superbly impressed by her and love watching her now. She is also a good point of QH 2. Also enjoy watching Rehan. He is an interesting character. He really delivers now in the emmotional scenes. Good going. In all, QH 2 has been quite impressive.

SJ as Sanam has been very impressive too. Some of the scenes she has delivered as Sanam exceed anything she did in more than 12 months on QH 1. She has a lot more control as Sanam. I think because the character of Sanam is more like Asad than Zoya. I am glad they have gone for that. She looks like her mum, but IS like her dad. It's a great nod to ASYA, and a very good way of characterising their daughter. A girl who's appearance reflects her mother and personality reflects her father. It's interesting coz through her looks she makes Zoya present, and through her actions and her manner she makes Asad present. I always feel their presence when I watch Sanam. It's actually quite special and I thank the makers for their effort to bring that to the fore. It's impressive.

@MrDarcyfan ... it's the Asad in Sanam that appeals to me too. First when I read Surbhi is playing the daughter I expected a Zoya replica... then watching her Assert Asad & emote like KSG did with his control of expression & reaction ... It is applaud able to Surbhi & the CV's. It keeps AsYa alive at the same time time giving SaAhil their own story.

About SurVir- finally watched the new dance seg... They have just as hott chemistry offscreen too... Dawat E Eid... They were the only two burning the screen with every glance ...
😛 😛 ... There is definitely a charged air around this jodi 😉 😆

Right now, like i mentioned, its a tried and tested script but Surbhi and KVB have been able to really work with it and Gul keeps adding little nuances that make it different from her previous stories. As long as this continues, i'll definitely stick around.

YES agree, i mean i knew KVB was in this but i finally sat down and started watching this past week and he has grown so much as an actor, i'm proud hahaha - its so satisfying to watch him because he IS Aahil, it doesn't feel like he's acting, he's just a natural. Haha and yes it has reallly picked up after the graveyard scene. I think I enjoyed it from the beginning even when they were head butting each other just because of how good they are in these scenes! That pool scene, WELL done in my opinion.

Rehan will play a big role, i can feel it, it remains to be seen whether it'll be with Tanveer or Aahil...i hope its Aahil..

when i saw intro scene of KVB i thought they have based his character just like Prem was...n i dint mind cz i loved prem n i mean he was legendary ... prem mukti were really amazing... but i want to say that KVB has outdone himself as Aahil... he has matured a lot... n his natural acting is to die for...👏👏👏

Hi Shazia,
Welcome back.
Ive been watching QH from the beginning. Me too watching a soap this regularly after ages.
QH1 to 2 transition - Well, it wasnt difficult at all. Not for me at least. The only thing that bothered me was Asya brutal murders, some other form of death would'nt have been so cringe worthy, but bloody day light massacare took some to digest.
I have never shipped asya or kabhi. Asya were good to an extent,
I'm liking saahil more.
AHil - well its KVB who is making me like Ahil, otherwise Ahil is not at all a likeable character. At least not till a proper redemption track plays out.
Sanam - SJ totally owns Sanam just as KVB does Ahil. There is absolutely no Zoya in Sanam except for the face.
Season 2 has a good story, even thought its built on the ruins of QH1. The lead are brilliant, so they should tell their story and finish it off. Most of the audience who have come back have come to see billi downfall.
No more evil winning, supernatural powers to villians and illogical tracks. If they go the way they are going now, then QH2 will end on a high, which QH1 could'nt manage, though it deserved to.

Haha thank youu!

Prem-mukti were and still are my loves! GREAT couples!

Haha agree, this show has been LUCKY - its had some of the greatest tv actors! AG is so good, Tanveer creeps the heck out of me! Latif is my hero(ine).

I find their intense bickering and angst scenes the BEST. I think i'm a bit over the trip and fall/dupatta scenes but when they have all these verbal matches, they're so good! I think i liked the pool scene so much because of how natural it looked - usually the actors are staring and then at an arms length away from each other and its just...awkward haha - these guys are great friends off screen and so it translates on screen

Haha one day i'd like to watch the first season of QH, i've heard great things about it before the story went kaput!

Oh the junoon track has already climbed into my top 10 tv tracks - its gorgeous! And the softer piano version is so so haunting, i have at least 5 different ones on my itunes hahah - obsessed and damn proud of it :P

Agree, these two play off each other so well. I'm so so glad they're all comfortable with each other off-screen because that really does translate on screen. You can tell when a scene looks natural as oppose to "acted". They've got great chemistry, Gul really knows how to pick her leads!

Oh boy haha IPK was the first show i watched after a long hiatus - i used to be a fanatic. KV as Prem was genius - the show itself was a bit crazy because of all the characters and their interwoven storylines. But KV totally stole hearts as Prem. 10 years later, i'd say he's still one of the more popular characters to ever grace television haha.

SJ has improved so much, i'm proud haha. I used to get quite annoyed in the random scenes i saw at the beginning of the show - granted it could have been the character as well. But she just seems so much more at ease now. Kudos to her. And AG and Shehzad are a treat to watch, its nice that they too have a great camaradie off-screen!
