It's another newbie's post haha

Hello guys 😳 Wow, i haven't watched a show or posted for years, this is a bit overwhelming in a way!
NO thanks to Karnvir and Surbhi for pulling me out of my no-drama zone hole and bringing me back here.

Anyways, I'm Shazia, i figure most people don't know me as i was an older active member 😆

This is somewhat of a useless post but i haddd to pen down my random thoughts after sitting and watching all 3 months of the post-leap of QH in 3 days 😲😆

I only watched bits and pieces of the original Qubool Hai so i will not compare at all - besides, i thought it was quite good. Anyways, I just wanted to say for a show that had a rabid fan following before, just kudos to EVERYONE on the team for somehow, keeping this show alive and WELL. That's the main part! WELL. It's actually such a joy ride to watch.

Karnvir, BOY ,take a friggen' bow and do it again. Always knew you were my fave for a reason. He's just gotten better and better. After stealing hearts as bad boy Prem, he's come in and given this show SO MUCH as tall dark and brooding Aahil. He seriously brings so much heart to the character - his own style, his own mannerisms, this guy IS Aahil. His eyes express more than a lot of current people on tv 😆 No, but really, IMO, this guy is SO great.

Surbhi, again, don't really know what else to say except YOU are one of the main reasons why this show is still going. Trials, tribulations, you kind of stood through it all and you're still here, one of the last remaining original cast members. And I feel like she's improved SO much since the first episode. Her dialogue delivery, her ability to maintain that fine line between jhalli acting and OTT acting, her expressions, her eyes, PERFECTO.

Together, and I didn't think this was possible in the SAME show, together these two have managed to create a couple who's chemistry is not compared to Asad-Zoya, but looked at as different altogether. What I mean is, there's always fan wars going on after a leap - so and so was better with this guy or this girl - in this case, they've been able to let Asad-Zoya's legacy live on while creating a totally different couple, allowing fans to reallly realllyyy enjoy Aahil-Sanam.

Special shout out to Rehan...bro...i love you. And it hurts me to see you like this You're actually an absolute sweetheart, and i'd say 80% of the girls out there would actually go for a guy like you in real life over an Aahil 😆 Gul, for the love of all that is good in this world, PLEASE make this story different - please keep both brothers positive - in real life, there are times when two best friends or brothers will pursue the same thing - one doesn't turn evil in the end. Let's show some real love and sacrifice. At the same time, i'm so for end game being Sanam-Aahil so...😆

UH...i kind of wrote a novel here, without actually raving about certain scenes and the storyline...maybe i'll do that in another post. Just wanted to get to know how everyone went through the transition from QH1 to QH2 - was it hard? i can't say, i wasn't an avid watcher before - how well do you think the cast and crew has made the transition? Are you convinced with the new characters/actors?

Ok, i'm done here. Peace 😊

first of all welcome and its such a nice post 😊
same are my feelings... i had stopped watching QH after KSG left... but news of KVB entering post leap brought me back to this show... n yeah it has been interesting since the beginning... their interactions have always been fiery... dhaba burning scene was the best among the lot and further clash of the titans as well but what made me glued to this show is Aahil's falling in love and his transformation... n when i write falling i literally mean FALLEN cz thats what happened.. the track after her burial n his saving n story afterwards is the reason i hv become crazy .. the moment i saw KVB's first scene i knew he wud fall for sanam n it wud be a treat to watch him going thru that process. n wat a magic it has been.. they both have a crackling chemistry 👏👏👏 n KVB man he an awesome actor... He was fabulous as viraj dobriyal but Aahil is even better than that... his expressions and eyes are just killer😳

For me transition was not difficult at all cause i dont get obssessed with any fiction show so much that i forget the difference between reality and fiction. Yes im loving QH2 v v much in fact i think i m quite obssessed with it but as long as they keep showing good story... illogical tracks and over the top negativity are a no no for me... like zoyaan track...😕 i mean how much i loved KSG and Surbhi still i cudnt digest that n stopped watching...

Yeah n i totaly agree with u regarding rehaan.. although i dont feel anything for that guy,,,, n neither had.. the only time i found him sweet was when he went to dilshad for asking sanam's hand... the words he spoke were really sweet,,,, but still for the sake of well deserved change i want him to remain positive,,,, n that wud b even more interesting to watch rather than seeing him negative and creating havoc in others lives... n if we see him bringing downfall of tanveer that would be great

Hey hi welcome to the forum! 🤗
I absolutely agree with you about what you said about KVB & SJ. The leads are amazing! The love story is very attractive!
For me the transition from Q.H 1 to Q.H 2 was not difficult. The ending days of Q.H 1 were not good & I was past that addiction.
And as for Q.H 2 I am enjoying it again!! 😳
And oh you are an IPK fan? 😛

KVB definitely breathes life to ARI, as SJ does to S.
KVB overacts at times, but I am willing to overlook the hamming in favor of the scene.

I think KSG did a commendable job as the restrained AAK, as did SJ as Zoya. Certainly, she is truly a very natural actor who does not seem like she is 'acting', as do majority of soap AND movie actors and so, kudos to her.

However, I always felt that SJ's acting as Zoya was a little too much at times.
Her character may have been quick off the mark in many cases with a short temper, but there was a lot more screeching involved. Even when the scene was a simple my POV vs. your POV, no big fighting involved, she always came off as argumentative and combative, and a general pain in the caboose for anyone to tolerate, much less the quiet and reserved AAK.
SJ, I feel, needed to learn voice modulation, especially in shouting/hysterical scenes...to me, she has achieved that with QH2. it slips, at times, but she is trying.

Frankly, I never felt AAK and Zoya had great chemistry...I must admit their BG song - Mitvaaa was a letdown after Mahi and Rubba Vey....
However, somehow, KSG and SJ while really good, did not seem to have the X factor, for me.
I feel that KVB and SJ share that X factor...I could write more on that, but then the post will get locked. PM me if you want to discuss this.😊

I stopped watching regularly after the 'humbister' crapola... and just kept abreast with one or two episodes here and there and the story.

But yes, both KVB and SJ bring QH2 alive for me. I must add Tunveer here, too.
Frankly, I think she is the best of the lot, even better than KVB and SJ.
Her voice is always pitch perfect, her dialogue delivery with just the right touch of whatever emotion she is conveying, even her distress, screaming, etc., is showcased at just the right amount without seeming like an uncultured fishwife. I am sorry to say, I have often thought SJ, with her usual yelling in lieu of dialogue delivery, very often in QH1 and occasionally in QH2, has struck me so.
Truly, AG as Tunveer defines her role beautifully.

I also feel SJ did a good job in transforming from a Zoya to an S...I must admit, at times, I do feel she acts and speaks more 'citified' than 'countrified', and she needs to watch that, but overall, she is very good, indeed.

Rayhaan is good...he needed a lot of improvement when he began, and I am happy to note that he is one of those actors who has done so with time. His weak points are comic timing, camaraderie scenes, and general enjoying, laughing, being-at-ease scenes. His strong points are emotional and love-lorn scenes.
He does tend to look too young compared to SJ, but the recent different hairstyle in the office scene with ARI made him seem older.
I do hope he remains positive, too.

Since I do not enjoy Raahut +H and all those scenes and usually skip them, the less I say about those the better. They are not QH2 for me at all, especially since the actor playing Raahut has not improved much at all. He seriously needs to put in more effort.

So far, so good. As with all of Ms. Gul Khan's shows, the first four months are magical..trying to enjoy them while they last.

Haha it's always nice to keep that fine line between fiction and reality! Getting too emotionally invested in a show can be such a disadvantage ometimes. And I totally agree, story trumps all for me. Right now, like i mentioned, its a tried and tested script but Surbhi and KVB have been able to really work with it and Gul keeps adding little nuances that make it different from her previous stories. As long as this continues, i'll definitely stick around.

YES agree, i mean i knew KVB was in this but i finally sat down and started watching this past week and he has grown so much as an actor, i'm proud hahaha - its so satisfying to watch him because he IS Aahil, it doesn't feel like he's acting, he's just a natural. Haha and yes it has reallly picked up after the graveyard scene. I think I enjoyed it from the beginning even when they were head butting each other just because of how good they are in these scenes! That pool scene, WELL done in my opinion.

Rehan will play a big role, i can feel it, it remains to be seen whether it'll be with Tanveer or Aahil...i hope its Aahil..

Haha I've heard the storyline went down the drain - not surprised, that's a common theme with these shows haha.

Oh, I definitely was an IPK fan! Haha i've liked too many shows but yes, i thoroughly enjoyed IPK.

Haha that last line sums it up doesn't it - enjoy the first few months because then everything gets screwed over and you need to get out before you go crazy 😆😆

And i agree with a lot of what you've said. Believe me, i still remember telling people i wasn't a big fan of QH because Surbhi's acting wasn't appealing to me - so its a huge thing on my part to admit she's improved tremendously haha. And i dont think saying that is a bad thing at all - i mean we're not perfect at anything and heck, there's always room for improvement!

I don't know if i think KVB is overacting - i can't tell because as Prem in KZK, he was SUPPOSED to be out there...but yah, a few times in the beginning (around April), i'd be like oh hey, sparks of Prem right there! I don't know if it was intentional or not though haha

Tanveer is GREAT. She's, to put it simply, CREEPY. And that's what they're going for. I didn't watch the death scenes when they aired but i keep seeing flashbacks of her - agh, chills. She gets it right. They chose a great great actress and I'm glad they kept her post-leap. She's even doing well as a mother even though KVB is older than her in real life I think haha

OH hells yah! 😃😃 Prem's probably my most favourite character on indian tv ever! I have all the episodes and i can definitely rewatch Prem-Mukti's story over again. KVB is BRILLIANT.
Too bad the KZK forum closed, i'd still be active in Prem's topic ahahha
