This was fabulous. Both the song & the plot you've chosen.

Heart broken is what I felt after reading this. But it also forced me to think about those poor souls that by some mishap or destiny stumble on this path.

You've put across Zoe's feelings really well. I could feel the suffering & torture she went through. The helplessness she faced at the hands of those sick monsters. Her attempt at finishing her life was the limit. I had also this question in mind that why would anybody be subjected to such cruel fate? But the only thing that calmed me a bit over here was that Allah saved her innocence & He gave her out from all that.

Asad & Humeira seemed to me like the pillars of support she would have in future to lean on. Her instant connection with Humi & her being able to trust Asad with her past said so to me. Haider is a nice person too, he considered her health & frame of mind & gave it priority over his duty.

Your title is perfectly fitting with the scenario. It definitely is the word to describe someone who has bore so much & to top it all Zoe has had a bleak past too.

This was absolutely wonderful Sis. Looking forward to see how you take this forward.
