Okay now, the storyline of this OS is very similar to the current track going, only the little fact that Rehan is romantically involved with Sanam has no existence in my story. Rehan is just a well wisher of her, and a loving and caring brother of Aahil.
This is a Three Shot.
[SaHil- Three Shot]
Turn of the Screw
"Kya aapko Sanam Ahmed Khan se Nikaah qubool hai?" Asked the kazi, making Aahil and others present in the ceremony gasp in surprise, how ever it left Aahil in shock.
He could not believe it that he was about to marry Sanam, the girl who turned his life upside down since he collided in her in Amritsar. The woman who left him craving for somthing that was alien to him till now. She left a desire in him to make promises and to die to just for it. But he knew that despite of his feelings for her, she never felt the same, in fact she hated him to the last fibre of her being. Why would she make her self to marry him. This was practically impossible for him.
"Sanam?" was all he could utter. "Nida kahan hai?" he couldn't help but ask.
And then his Ammi came forward and hastily kept her hand on his shoulder and nudged him and said, "Aapko hum pe bharosa hai na?"
To which he nodded and looked at the bride sitting infront of him, just a silk partition seperating.
"Toh phir haan kar dijiye Aahil. Hum bass aapki aur iss ghar ki khushi hi chahte hain." she said coaxing him.
"Par Ammi, Nida?" Aahil didn't want to ask but may be he was too shocked by the turn of events.
" Woh chali gayi, hum aapko sab batayenge, aap bass vo kariye jo iss samay zaroori hai. Haan keh dijiye, baaki sab hum par chod dijiye. Hum sab theek kar denge." Tanveer said.
The Kazi again asked, but for the last time, "Kya aapko ye nikaah qubool hai?"
He after a few moments uttered, "Qubool hai"
And Kazi repeated the same question for two more times thus tying then together for a lifetime.
Whole hall swarmed with blessings and "Mubaarak ho".
He couldn't believe that she was now his, only his. The fear of loosing her got replaced by the joy of having her and then he looked at her, trying to make himself believe that she was his wife.
His sisters came forward with his bride and made her sit near him, still in a long veil. Her nearness was making him ticklesh in stomach.
Just then a large silver plate filled with clear water was brought and kept between them. Both were to see each other through reflection.
Aahil bent towards the plate and so did Sanam until he could see her and vice-versa. Aahil couldn't believe that today he was seeing his wife and not Sanam that he argued with most of the time, and who did same in return. He smiled remembering their verbal fights.
But as soon as he saw her eyes, he was left shocked, her eyes were teary and he could very well place sadness in them.
'Why was she sad? Was this marriage was forced on her? Wasn't she happy?' he thought, who would be happy to marry a man who had at every point insulted her and made her feel down, his inner voice answered. 'But that was before, I mean okay, it was just yesterday that he asked her to clean Nida's shoes.' well then what do you expect, her to dance in happiness. Your attitude, your sefish disdain and your behaviour, everything is unacceptable to any one. How can you even think that she would, in wildest dreams would be happy to be your wife?
'If I am so bad then why did she married me? I didn't ask her to. I was prepared to marry Nida anyways.' he said to his innerself as if advocating his behaviour. His innerself just laughed at him.
While he was in such thoughts, Sanam was being taken away from the mehfill. Where? And then he saw her entering the room upstairs, his room, the mere thought of which filled his stomach with butterflies.'He will share the room with her now.'
He was in these thoughts when Rehan nudged him bringing him back to the present world.
"Kya hai?" he asked little irritated.
"Bhai... I was just..." Rehan trailed.
"Nahi ... I am sorry... ye sab aaj ki saari activities... surprises... pata nahi... I was just feeling irritated."
"I unterstand Bhai, you don't have to say anything. But what is surprising me is that, why Nida left without informing. I mean it was not a joke, it was your marriage with her. How can she just leave like that."
"Even I am thinking that." Aahil said deep in thought.
"Thank god Nikaah ke pehle bhag gayi, baad mein bhaagti toh achha nahi lagta." Rehan chuckled saying that and controlled seeing serious expression on Aahil's face.
But surprising Rehan, Aahil burst out in infectious laughter, Rehan was dumbstruck seeing him laughing so whole heartedly, that he had never ever before seen.

It was almost twelve when almost everyone was yawning except for Aahil, who was very much in his senses, well more than in senses. He was very much excited, he didn't know why, when he saw her almost every minute in past few months, it was like he was going to see her for the first time. But that was true to some extent, mean he would meeting her for the first time only as his wife and not some Sanam Ahmed khan.
"Chaliye bohot der ho gayi hai, ab sab log jaiye aur aaram kijiye, Aahil aap bhi jaiye, Sanam bhi aapka intezaar kar rahi hongi." Tanveer ordered.
Aahil stood up instantly as if he was just waiting for this moment. And walked towards his room, he felt his legs heavy with anticipation, he didn't know what to expect, he knew that this won't be, well romantic as was usually case with almost every couple on their first night of marriage. But this could be start of something new between them, at least he could work on it, after all they were married.
He entered his room, that was now decorated beautifully and Sanam, well his bride was, lost, as she stood near the large window, as the soft breeze was caressing her satin soft albaster skin, filling him with jealousy of not capable to do the same.
He went near her and stood just behind her and whispered, "Sanam". She instantly turned towards him and fumbled back finding him so close.
Her face showed the traces of not shyness, but fear. He was shocked, would be an understantement because he was hurt by her expression that showed that her trust in him was at the point, zilch. Only if he could tell her, 'Ke kiss hadd tak giriftaar ho chuka hai vo uski mohabbat mein.' his head lowered in shame, as he realised his past deeds were reason for such a reaction from her.
But surprising him she whispered, "Mujhe pata hai ke mujhe aapse darne ki zaroorat nahi, Itna toh bharosa hai mujhe..." she said and it brought smile on Aahil's face and then next set of words from her shocked him, "... aapki nafrat pe." she completed.
"Par... Mai tumse nafrat nahi karta hoon." He uttered.
She smiled and said, "Shayad isiliye aapki harr mauke par mujhe beizzat karte hain, mujhe neecha dikhate hain, aur mujhe yahan naukri ke layak bhi nahi samjhte."
"Shayad mai kamyab raha hoon, shayad maine apne behaviour se tumko ye ehsaas dilwa hi diye ke mai tumse nafrat karta hoon. Par ye sachh nahi hai..."
"Aapki ki baatien mai samajh nahi paa rahi hoon... aur mai samajhna bhi nahi chahti hoon. Mujhe bas ye bata dein ke mai kaha so jauoon?"
"Sanam... bass ek sawal, tumne mujhse shaadi kyun ki jab ki tum mujhse itni nafrat karti ho?"
She looked at him surprised by his question and also his accusation, and replied , "Bass ye samajh lijiye ke ye sab maine kisi khaas ke liye kiya hai jinke mujhpe bohot ehsaan hain. Aur main aapse toh kya kisi se bhi nafrat nahi karti."
With that she walked towards the bed silently and settled and lied in the fartherest corner. Aahil still stood there surprised and then she said amusing him further, "I am your wife, I have right to sleep on bed." and she closed her eyes with that.
Aahil still stood on the same stood thought, "May be their was little scope to start something new between them." with that he moved towards bathroom to change his clothes and coming back slept on the other side of bed carefull not to cross the line of silent promise.
