This OS takes place after Ayaan leaves and Haider enters. Haider simply entered the Siddiqui house for business reasons. Along the way, Haider and Humeira fall in love with each other, but no one in the family is aware of their relationship.
~*~ On the roadside ~*~
"Haider! Let's go eat the chaat over there! Whenever my friends and I didn't feel like going to college, we always stopped by there and..."
Humeira went on and on, not realizing that Haider wasn't listening to a word she said. Instead, he was staring at her. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eyes on. He leaned in closer to an unaware Humeira.
Her eyes widened as Haider kissed her deeply and passionately. She had to control herself and pull back because someone she knew caught her. "Haider...What are you doing...And in a public place? What if someone sees us?"
"Shh Huneiraji. Why do you talk so much? Let's go to the park and enjoy the sunset. Just you and me." Haider smiled, but Humeira felt as if she saw a hint of nervousness in his eyes. "And if anyone wants to see what we're doing, then let them. I also want them to know that such a pretty girl like you is all mine." Humeira couldn't help but blush. Haider held her hand tightly, as they made their way to the park.
~*~At the Siddique Mansion~*~
He looked around; this had been the longest time that he had been away from his home, from his family.
He saw Dilshaad walking towards the kitchen and he clenched his fists. He loved Dilshaad like his own mother, but he couldn't just forget the reason he had left.
The love he had for the elderly lady gave him courage to go ahead. He cleared his throat.
"Dil-Dilshaad Bi?"
Dilshaad paused for a second. She felt as if she heard his voice calling out to her. She shook her head. How was it possible? He would never come back as long as she's in the house.
Dilshaad always considered him to be her son, but she could never forgive herself for being the reason that he left his own house.
She gasped as she felt a hand on her shoulder. Dilshaad put her hand on his hand.
"Ayaan..." She said without turning around.
"How are you Dilshaad Bi? How is everyone else? Hu-Humeira? Is she okay?"
Dilshaad caressed his cheek and kissed his forehead.
"Why don't you find out for yourself?" She turned to the stairs. "Shireen! Gaffur Sahib! Razia Bi! Look who came!"

As the sun began to set, Humeira heard music, coming from behind her. "Haider...wh-" Humeira stuttered as he took her hands and began dancing, and singing along.
Tum ko paaya hai toh jaise khoya hoon
Kehna chahoon bhi toh tumse kya kahoon
Kisi zabaan mein bhi woh lafz hi nahin
Ke jinme tum ho kya tumhein bata sakoon
Main agar kahoon tumsa haseen, qayanat mein nahin hai kahin
Tareef yeh bhi toh such hai kuch bhi nahin
Haider brought Humeira's hands up to his lips and softly kissed them.
"Huneiraji. Since I've met you, my life's never been the same. I think about you all the time and can't even think about being without you. I love you, and I've never loved anyone like this before. " Haider bent down on one knee and took a velvet box out of his pocket.
"Will you do the honor and be mine forever Humeiraji?" He said, stressing on the fact that he finally called her by her real name. "Will you marry me?"
Humeira put her hands up to her mouth. Tears of joy were falling uncontrollably and all the memories she shared with Haider came back. She smiled and Haider slipped the ring onto her finger.

Ayaan explained what he was up to while he was gone. Although Gaffur and Razia were a bit mad that he left their daughter, they surprisingly understood his reasons to leave.
"I'm sure Humeira's still in love with you, Ayaan. She tried to move on, but I know my daughter. You've always been on her mind. "
Razia was glad that her daughter would finally have the love of her life with her.
"Ayaan Miya, I'll give you one last chance with my daughter. But you better not break her heart again. "
"Come on Mamujaan. You know how much I love Humeira. I would do anything for her, except for intentionally hurt her again. All this has changed me for the better. Now I just need your permission to marry her."
Gaffur and Razia looked at each other and then nodded their head, signing their approval.
Ayaan smiled. He knew Humeira was left heartbroken more than once because of him. But this time would be different. Now he just had to wait for Humeira to come, so he could propose to her and they could finally be together.
"Hi Ammi! Abbu! And the Phoopis!" Humeira exclaimed as she entered.
Ayaan smiled. She looked as gorgeous as ever. It surprised him to see that she wasn't depressed like her parents said she had been for the past few months. As long as she was happy, it didn't matter.
He took a deep breath and awkwardly scratched the back of his head. He made his way towards her and tapped her shoulder.
"He-hey Humeira"
Humeira felt her heart betray her, when it skipped a beat. That voice still had the same effect on her.
"Ay-Ayaan? Ho-How come you're back?" Humeira didn't know what to feel. She stared at the man she once used to love. She fiddled with her fingers as all the memories came rushing back. Her index finger touched the ring on her left hand, and memories of Haider invaded her mind. Humeira could see Ayaan talking, but his words never reached her ears. The only thing that snapped her back to reality was the fact that Ayaan was hugging her. She closed her eyes, lost in Haider's thoughts.
"Humeiraji? Have you told them...yet" Haider said as he walked in the Siddiqui Mansion. He saw his fiance in the arms of her ex.
Humeira's eyes widened as she realized that it was Ayaan, who was hugging her. Not Haider.
"Told us what Humeira? And who is this?" Ayaan pulled away and raised his eyebrows. He felt he had seen the man somewhere before.
"I'm-"
"It doesn't matter." Ayaan interrupted. He put Humeira's face in his hands. "Humeira, I only came back for you." As if it was dj-vu, Ayaan recited the words that Haider had just said to her.
"...Will you marry me?"
Humeira's world came crashing down. How she craved to hear those words a few months ago. Now, when she finally heard Ayaan pouring out his heart for her, she felt nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Haider cleared his throat. "Maybe now would be a good time to introduce myself. I'm Haider Sheikh. Mr. Siddiqui's business partner and..." He walked next to Humeira and put his hand around Humeira's waist. He looked Ayaan dead in the eye. "Humeiraji's fianc."
The whole family was shocked and Ayaan stood up. He questioned Humeira whether that was true or not.
Humeira turned around, unable to look at anyone right now. "It's true Ayaan. You have no idea how badly I wanted to hear those words from you. I waited my whole life for you and I was always by your side. When we needed each other the most, you decided to run away and leave me. But now I've moved on. Haider proposed to me today and we'll be getting married in October. I've never been happier with anyone else in my life, and I request you to leave us alone. It's too late now." Humeira and Haider walked away, hand in hand.
Ayaan was still in shock, but deep down he was glad that even if it wasn't him, Humeira had found her soulmate.
A/N Hayeee how I miss these three! I wanted Ayaan to come back and tie up the loose ends in their story, but alas. Sorry for all the mistake(s), if any. Hope you enjoyed!
