Surbhi Jyoti as Zoya or Sanam? - Page 2

Surbhi is fabulous as both Zoya and Sanam. She nails the comic timing, as well as intense and emotional scenes. But I am liking her as Sanam, I can relate to the character more. Zoya was a bit OTT sometimes.

Personally I feel that Surbhi carries off ethnic wear much better than plain jeans and long-sleeved tops. She looks ethereal in some sarees and kurtas. The dangly earrings and the nose ring really accentuates her beauty. A true Indian beauty!

That scene with Aahil...?? Wow! I watched it over and over again. Just her dialogue alone was amazing. The depth and intensity in her voice and her eyes! SJ was fabulous! Just amazing.

SJ is amazing actress ,,Love Zoya very close to heart. As an actor SJ is doing amazing job as Sanam. Sanam is totally opposite of Zoya.

Yes, the stark difference in both characters is quite amazing, job well done by the creatives. The only common trait between zoya and Sanam is that both enjoy talking. But hats off to surbhi for differentiating the characters so well!

I said in another post that I think SJ is superb as Sanam. She is a lot like Asad and this shows. How she portrays the quite and dignified Sanam is Kabile Tharif to me! She is so different from Zoya. They share the same looks and the sharp tongue. But her intensity reminds me of Asad. She is his daughter for sure. It's beautiful to watch.

Surbhi is rocking as Sanam. She is getting to show a lot more range. I really connect to Sanam, though on certain levels I am probably more like Zoya. (Accept for the prying into other people's business, and OTT part)..I loved her, but Sanam is something else.

I couldn't agree more! The intensity in her eyes, she was imploring Aahil. I could feel each and every emotion in that scene. Truly brilliant acting.

Like you said, I probably relate more to zoya too, because of her modern, feminist ways, but Surbhi does the dignified Sanam far better! And she gets fantastic lines too, "I'm not waiting for a Prince Charming" Strong and resilient, and shown quite well!

Sanam...SJ is better as Sanam although Zoya was cute but sometimes she annoyed me.Idk why. SJ is superb actress..Love her anyways.
